A Werewolf Girl's

I was tidying up my stuff when Emily came. There was not a single speck of guilt as he walked over, smiling as usual as if nothing had happened.

"Hi, Ally. Are you ready?" sapana.

I looked at him in wonder at his uninvited arrival. "Why come here, Em?"

"Pick you up, you forgot?" the answer raised an eyebrow. "I can't let you go alone."

"I can go alone."

Emily shakes. "can't. I've got to get you safely out of this hospital."

I snorted laughing at the look on his very serious face. "When have you been a forger, Em?"

"Since now," he smiled back in anguish. "Come on. I really need to take you home."

I'm staring. The look on his face did not lie and he showed everything with his being here and our daily life all along. His words yesterday were the same, but I could not accept all the facts, which I believed to be delusions, which he and the man gave me. It was too medadak and it made no sense to take it for granted.

"Alright, you won," I said at last. "Please take me home."

Emily smiled widely and walked over to help put some of the items still scattered on the bed into the bag. We did it quickly so we could get in the car.

During the trip Emily told me about the day at college during my absence. I heard it while looking at the glint of the scenery from the car window. The road that we passed was not too crowded, there were some trees in the row of highways that we passed. I also realized that there were very few signs of cars or other vehicles passing by.

I began to feel sleepy, my eyes felt so heavy that I closed them, feeling myself beginning to drift on the brink of a dream. Emily had stopped talking and still looked serious driving her car next to me.

With my eyes still closed and in a semi-conscious state, I felt the longer the road we passed felt more rocky and at first glance I could hear the rustling of the leaves as we passed the road, slap car body. I only really realized this strange situation when Emily suddenly stopped her car.

"We've arrived?" I opened my eyes and looked around. There were many trees behind the car, while in front of me stood a house that was definitely not my apartment.

I sighed softly when I finally came to full consciousness. "You lied again, Em."

Emily looked at me, she looked regretful despite not being able to endure the snarl that lay on her lips. "Sorry, Ally. I had to do it."

I sighed softly, staring at the house surrounded by plants on its fence and laid out simply without any conspicuous decoration. At first glance I could see the sparkle of water emanating from the blazing spray in the middle of the plants, spreading a small rainbow that was invisible.

"Whose house is this?" I finally got back to sound.

"My house and the friends I told you about at the time."

I looked at him surprised. "You guys live together?"

Emily nodded. "Lately we've been living together, there's some important things we need to talk about."

".... Does that include me?"

Emily nodded back. "We need you to get together with us, Ally."

I shook my head. "I still can't believe what you and that guy told me, you're kidding me, right? It is impossible that what you say is true. That doesn't make any sense."

"We're serious, Ally," said Emily slowly, looking very tired. "You must have known I was telling the truth. You know I'm not the kind of person to say stupid things at such serious times."

"But—"

Emily didn't let me finish the protest. "I know that you still can't believe it, that's why I brought you here. We'll explain everything to you inside."

"What if I don't want to?"

"I'll force you."

I fell silent, looking back at the house briefly to think. Without saying anything else I immediately stepped out of the car with Emily who was also doing the same thing, following me from behind until we arrived at the door of the house.

"You ready?"

I'm nodding. Ready or unprepared, I have to go in, right?

Emily pressed the door handle wide open, revealing the contents of the house filled with several people who were scattered and were busy doing their own activities; watching, playing games, reading, wrestling or chatting.

I stared at the group of people who suddenly stopped doing their activities and then started looking back at me with a fixed look. I could feel Emily pushing my body slowly into the house so she could close the door.

Silent.

"So he's the one?" cursed a guy suddenly with a dismissive tone that was not hidden. "He looks weak."

I froze.

There was a soft thud and the guy immediately cursed slowly.

"I'm sorry for what he said" said another man standing right next to the man, most likely the one who gave the man a punch. "He's a bit of a moron."

"You're saying I'm a moron?" asked the guy before, looking furious. I frowned when I saw his hands trembling on both sides of his body. "You—"

"Enough, Malcolm, calm yourself down" said a girl who had suddenly been between the two boys and gave them some distance to be a little far apart, he quickly tiptoed to kiss the angry looking guy on the cheek and looked at him with a meaningful smile on his face. "You didn't forget the promise we made last night, did you?"

I don't know why I shuddered when I saw her smile. Malcolm nodded obediently without saying anything.

"Don't make people misunderstand, Grace...."

The girl put a stark look of confusion on her face as she turned to look at the other guy. "What do you mean?"

"No need to think about it," replied another guy–not Malcolm–seeming reluctant to explain. "It's nothing."

"Hey! I'm kan—"

"Welcome, Allison," said a girl who looked the same age as Grace, she seemed to ignore the small quarrel between the 3 people who were still going on quietly to approach me. "My name is Chloe."

I smiled a little to return his welcome. "Thank you, Chloe."

Another girl also followed and followed with others, they took turns to greet me and introduce themselves to each other. The previously domineering awkward atmosphere seemed to fade away at that moment.

Unknowingly we had already gathered in the living room and exchanged stories. Some people go back and forth to the kitchen to grab quite a lot of snacks and cold drinks, some are back to doing their activities even though they are still in close range and can hear our chat.

"Is there anything else you want to ask us, Allison?" chloe asked suddenly turned serious. "About the events you experience, their origins or anything else you don't understand about us."

I fell silent and then nodded. "I really want to ask."

"Tell me," asked the second girl who came forward after Chloe to introduce herself. "We'll tell you as much as we can."

"Who is Whitney?" many finally. "What made him turn me like this?"

"Whitney is the leader of all the remaining vampires in this area. He didn't turn you into a werewolf, just speed up the process, you were supposed to change like us."

I frowned at me. "Changed form?"

Chloe nodded. "Your parents are werewolves, Allison. You are destined to 'change' even in a faster time due to the bite. Your own family can be ascertained as one of the original races of the werewolf herd. Hereditary one of your families is responsible for leading the group."

"What am I...." I can't continue my words. My mind is still processing the answers given by them.

They understood and nodded.

I shook my head slowly, staring at them one by one in search of the truth. "I know the werewolf leader is a man, but I'm a woman. Why am I chosen?"

"Because you're the only one left, weak," replied someone I immediately recognized as Malcolm. "The whole family is gone, just like we've been through."

There was a slow thump, this time Malcolm fell to his knees to hold his shins kicked by the guy next to him. With a hasty movement the two men immediately went from the room followed by the girl who had previously fought.

"Don't listen to Malcolm, he's been like that lately, including his sister and Chloe."

I'm shaking. "It's okay, I want to hear the continuation," I said slowly. "What does it mean that you are also experiencing the same thing?"

Chloe nodded. "Our group was massacred during the first feud, two generations above us. Maybe then it would be more suitable if you say massacre. Parents, grandparents and several young werewolves who desperately fought back died in the massacre. There were no survivors except for a few werewolves who had escaped to safety."

"Aren't there any other groups that were intent on helping at the time?" my many.

"none. Each group has been given the task of overseeing their respective areas, no one should violate it except under such urgent circumstances."

"Are you not desperate?"

"Yes, it's true" replied Emily with a bitter smile. "but all this is due to the problems created by the herd and we, as successors, should have cleaned things up with our own hands, there can be no help for a territorial dispute."
