The bell rang loudly signifying the lesson hour that was up. Some children quickly tidied up their bags and stepped out of the classroom, heading to their respective places
Emily grabs her bag and rushes towards the cafeteria, a place where her new friends are likely to gather, she split up with Kat and Garry at the fourth hour and not one more class until school hours are over.
His phone was lying in a bag without signal, unable to ask where they were even if the girl had the number of each of her friends. Does he need to give a special new number in this place?
"Yo, Em." Someone patted his shoulder. He was shaking slowly.
The distinctive fragrant smell of vampires immediately invaded his kiss and made him desperately resist nausea. Alex, the man who patted her on the shoulder, raised his eyebrows. "You sick?"
"Ah, no." Emily said softly as she smirked a wide smile that she hoped did not look pitiful. "I just feel surprised."
The guy returned his smile, then spread his shoulders towards the group of children sitting in almost the same position as the beginning of their meeting. Kat, Garry, Liene and Jordan.
"They're there if you want to sit down" said the man, looking at him with an eyebrow. "or do you want to come with me?"
"Your work seems to be irresistible."
Alex widened his smile even more and embraced it with one hand. "You're really good at reading the atmosphere, Em. I really want company."
The girl just smiled obliquely, shrugged her shoulders indifferently as if not a problem and began to step following the guy who was next to her.
"How's your class?" alex opened the conversation.
"Fun, easy to digest."
Alex glanced at him. "Easy digesting? you mean the food or the lesson?"
He rolled his eyes silently. "Of course the lesson."
The guy nodded his head understanding. Emily suspects that Alex deliberately asks trivial questions only to fill the silence during their walk. And it turns out it was.
The two people had already walked through the hallway of the classroom, were silent the entire way, turned past the bathroom and finally stopped in the parking lot.
Several cars and various mountain bikes adorn the parking lot. Emily clicked her tongue in awe as she stared at the taste of your car - you're a pretty decent vampire despite living in such a remote place.
"That's it."
The girl followed Alex's gaze and saw the lovers standing on their backs. Alex walked faster and immediately punched the boy on the shoulder.
"Aragh!"
Emily frowned slightly when she heard the painful crackling sound from the boy's shoulder. Is Alex that powerful? He didn't understand why the vampire-posing blow could have such an impact on his fellow man.
"Oh, oh, haha." Alex seemed unable to hold back his laughter. "Sorry buddy, I completely forgot about your weakness."
"Alex," a soft-pitched, reminiscent voice came from the figure of a brown-haired girl standing next to the guy. "I don't like the way you dress, Wayne's in pain."
Wayne's?
Emily walked forward, watching the guy still holding his possibly broken shoulder and Alex's hand scratching his nape while chuckling regretfully at the girl. "I'm sorry, Lauren, Wayne."
He was like watching a parent show that demanded an apology from his son's friends. A little silly, I don't know why.
"Pay your debt, buddy."
Emily watched the guy reach into his pocket and pulled out dozens of dollars, giving him straight to Alex, who without counting put him in his jacket again. The two guys seem to trust each other.
"Lunas right?" asked the guy to raise his face.
Emily's breath suddenly felt stuck in her throat.
Alex nodded, patting the guy on the back in a friendly manner. They exchanged grunts before Alex walked up to him and took him away.
A feeling of sadness suddenly engulfed Emily, she glanced over her shoulder and met a look with the boy. A familiar glint appeared in his eyes, but quickly the boy cut off his sight.
He managed to find Wayne and the guy also seemed to remember him.

"Hm, it's hard," said Liene looking at him with a frown. "Lauren won't let anyone near Wayne when he's alone."
"Have it?"
They are currently waiting for an invitation. Lien with her boyfriend and Emily waiting for Mrs. Rowan came to pick up Amanda cheers practice. About an hour before sunset.
Kat and Garry have gone home with Alex while Jordan is still practicing rugby for their school team.
"Why ... can it be like that?" ask Emily.
The girl tilted her head, thinking. His black curly hair was seen dangling on his left shoulder. "Maybe it's because Wayne's her first lover?" Lien looked unsure. "Of course."
"You mean?"
Liene looked at him seriously and then spoke in a very slow voice. "You know the ritual of vampire unification?"
Emily held her breath and nodded, asking inwardly why the girl asked about such a sacred thing.
"Maybe they did."
The blood in Emily's veins seemed to have just been sucked out. "WHAT?"
"You really like her, Em?" lien asked in wonder.
The girl did not reply, looking extremely shocked and deathly pale at the same time.
"Gosh, I'm sorry, Em. I'm just kidding."
Liene's hand moved to touch his arm, sending a low-voltage electric current that made him immediately scowl and smell the distinctive scent of a vampire that was still stifling. He snorted softly, rubbed his nose softly then looked at the girl. "You're just kidding?"
The girl nodded and formed her finger to form the letter 'v'. "Yes, I'm kidding."
Emily nods and then bends her legs to the point of touching her chest, still thinking about what would happen next if the ritual had actually happened to Wayne and the vampire chick.
The sound of the horn suddenly severed the atmosphere between them. A guy can be seen sticking his head out and waving at Liene, telling her to come in.
"I'm first, Em. See you tomorrow."
Liene smiled which Emily later replied similarly. "See you tomorrow."
After Liene got in, the car immediately sped up and quickly left a puff of dust rolling behind her.
Emily looked around her and rattled the clock on her phone at half-six, Mrs. Rowan will be here in fifteen minutes. He fiddled with his touch screen phone and repeatedly waved the electronic object to get a signal. But failed.
The girl gave up and ended up playing an offline game that would accompany her during the wait.
"What are you doing?"
For the third time Emily was shocked. "You're surprising me."
Amanda, the girl who surprised him, said nothing in response. He just tried to bend his body to make sure what game is being played by the short black-haired girl.
"Old piano tiles?" ask the girl
Emily nodded, her eyes refocused on a random row of black buttons that were on a bunch of white buttons. The accompanying music was tuned at the lowest volume so Amanda could not immediately guess.
"Why not download the new version?"
The girl frowned and glanced at Amanda who looked serious asking her. "There's no signal here" Emily said in the end.
He nodded in understanding then continued saying in a dreamy tone. "Emily, I think besides needing a new number, you should buy some perfume right away" pause. "You sting so much."
"Oh, okay."
They were silent for a while. Emily suddenly realized something.
"You know who I am?"
Amanda looked at him fixedly and then sniffed his shoulders indifferently. "Emily a wad of Yongblood feathers?"
The girl was silent for a while, looking devastated by the reality of her identity that had been revealed. "Basic leech."
That red-haired girl rolled her eyeballs. "It's not my fault, it's stupid that you're in the middle of a vampire settlement like this."
