A Werewolf Girl's

"Auntie, I go first, yes" I said, hugging her.

"Yes," said Bibi returning a short hug, her eyes looking at me with an anxious look that her face could not hide. "Be careful on the road, Allison."

I smiled knot. "Of course, Bi."

I walked down the steps of Aunt's porch and entered the long-awaited taxi. From the inside I could see Aunt still standing in the sign and looking at me fixedly, her gaze still looked anxious.

I waved at him to get his attention then moved my mouth 'don't worry, Bi.'

Aunty was seen sighing deeply in response then smiling understandably, she raised one hand to reply to my wave. I brandished my thumb while smiling broadly at him as the taxi passed by. The taxi I had driven slowly through the streets, past the buildings I often passed. He then turned one of the intersections so that the aunt's house was not seen back.

I let out a long sigh, my wide smile changing with a grim smile. Today finally came too, the day of my move to a new house or arguably the apartment that I will live in myself until the next. Yesterday was my seventeenth birthday. As is the custom in the orphanage, the children of the orphanage - including me, as well as the aunt - would gather and throw a small birthday party. We will gather at the dinner table with a full menu and birthday cake, morning tasks will be transferred to the afternoon so we can enjoy the party.

The day was quite pleasant for me, we could relax freely and do other activities that we could not do on a typical day. I gathered with the younger children, joking and laughing loudly with them - during that morning. I thought of nothing but our togetherness that felt more pleasant than before.

I could see Aunt sitting leaning on the couch, watching our movements and occasionally commemorating Cedric and Rory, nosy children in the parlour, so as not to disturb the smaller child. I remember before the party started, my aunt told me that I could stay there as long as possible, and she said what she had done to keep her promise to my mother a few years ago, but I refused. It doesn't seem fair that I get that privilege while the other kids don't.

Aunty didn't talk to me again afterwards and let me pack a suitcase so I could be in this cab.

"It's here" said the taxi driver, startling me from the daydream.

I blinked my eyes repeatedly and looked at a multi-storey building that was suddenly in front of me. I was silent for a few moments to look at the skyscraper, it looked so majestic and luxurious.

Is this really true? batinku doubt.

"Miss?" the driver returned to wake me up.

"Oh, ah. I'm sorry, sir," I said regretfully and handed over some of the bills from my wallet.

I immediately walked out of the taxi and entered the building. The room with ivory white sweep with an elaborately designed chandelier in the middle of the ceiling of the building welcomed my arrival.

I hesitantly scrape my suitcase closer to the reception desk located on one side of the room.

"Can I help you?" ask the receptionist kindly.

"Can you show me where room number 138 is?"

"You just take the elevator to the 5th floor then walk to the right, you can find the room on the left side of the hallway."

I nodded in understanding then muttered a word of thanks before walking towards the elevator and entering it.

As per the receptionist's instructions, I turned to the right and then looked carefully at the left.

"Ah, here it is" I said excitedly after a while of searching.

I turned the knob of my new house door and stared in amazement at the facilities available here. My hazel eyes went around looking at my entire new residence which was quite spacious, very different from the room I had previously occupied in the parlour.

From here I can see the pastel color enveloping most of the walls, some household appliances such as cooking utensils, vacuum cleaners, washing machines and other facilities such as air conditioners, refrigerators, sofas and televisions, I can find it easily and neatly arranged.

I entered the bedroom and threw myself in there to relax my body for a while. A few minutes later I got out of bed and started to pack my suitcase, moving everything into the available wardrobe, drawers and shoe racks.

My hand moved to reach into the waist bag and grabbed the phone, pressing a few buttons to contact Auntie.

Not connect. Maybe Aunt is taking a nap, my mind as I put the phone on the bed and started tidying up my empty suitcase.

Sretti. A wind that felt cold and strong enough suddenly distracted me.

I turned my head to the window of the room, thinking that the wind that just blew was coming from there. But my guess is wrong. My bedroom window is still tightly closed, there's no way the wind can pass through a window in such a state, right?

I slowly stepped my foot out of the bedroom and looked around curiously, there was nothing.

Maybe it's just my feelings, my mind is positive.

Not a few seconds had passed, suddenly a white sheet of paper fell right in front of me. With a confused frown I immediately grabbed it and read it.

*Finally we found you, Allison Cartwraigh**t*....

Such were the words written on the sheet with blood-red ink.

I immediately fell silent on the spot, the sheet of paper slipped out of my limp hands. Whatdoes thatmean? Who was 'we' written on that paper?
