A Werewolf Girl's

A Werewolf Girl's
2.15

Emily woke up in a much better condition than before. The girl turned towards the window curtain that was still open, revealing an already dark atmosphere in her yard.

He got up from his bed and grabbed a small towel, went into the bathroom to wash his face then changed his pajamas with a t-shirt and jeans - the only clean pants he had right now. Somehow he had easily forgotten his habit of doing homework since meeting Wayne.

Instead of being lazy or any other trivial reason, he was just distracted by a lot of unpleasant things in finding his little friend. Emily didn't think things would get complicated and make herself look weak and miserable. Not like him at all.

God fucking.

The wolf slapped her cheek and then put on her jacket before walking out of the room. Amanda was already waiting for him with both arms folded, looking at him suspiciously.

"Where are you going?"

Emily pressed her shoulders indifferently, not too surprised by the appearance of the vampire chick on her bedroom door. "To Alex's house, there's a group assignment we have to work on."

"Alex's house?" ask the girl to repeat her words because she is not sure. "I didn't know that he was willing to lend his house just for group work."

"Of course." Emily turned her shoulders back. "She just told me to do the job at her house, I just followed her words."

Amanda was silent in place, staring at Emily for a while, seemingly thinking. He did not know why his body suddenly moved to stop the wolf girl's footsteps and hold her back from leaving, his premonition was bad, he said, but she had often been wrong in responding to her own premonition so she ended up nodding and giving way to Emily.

"OK, go. Don't come home so late that mom scolds me for not taking responsibility for looking after you."

Emily smiled obliquely and waved her hand, seeming to ignore. "No need to worry, I can take better care of myself than Liene."

The vampire girl let out a soft laugh in response before Emily closed the door.

~°~

Alex's house is located right at the front of the forest entrance, well hidden due to the lush trees on both sides and the supportive night atmosphere.

Emily pays little attention to Alex's house as she wakes up from her stupor and walks back to her house with the boy to see Amanda. But, from the outside alone, the man's house looks too big to be inhabited by two different vampire brothers.

Without hesitation, the girl stepped towards the door of the house, about to open the door before someone from the inside opened the door first until she almost fell down.

"Woah, Em, be careful" said a man who opened the door and used one of his arms to defend his body from a humiliating fall.

"Sorry." Emily smiled and spread her shoulders.

Jordan returned his smile and patted his shoulder. "No problem, I've held something heavier than your body" he said. "Their body is pretty slim, huh? it doesn't feel heavy."

The girl raised her eyebrows, astonished by the vampire guy's rhetorical question. "You mean?"

"It's nothing." replied the guy instantly, smiling obliquely, making him similar to Alex.

"Where's Alex?" asked Emily to change the topic that was immediately welcomed by the man.

"He's downstairs, preparing something for our plan against the possessive vampire" she said as she stepped deeper into the house, signalling for the girl to follow him. "He told me to pick you up so I could take you down."

Emily nodded her head in understanding. Now they had arrived before a door which when opened showed a stone staircase leading down, dark without lights, but they could still see the whole space that looked empty.

"He's not here" Emily said as she reached the end of the stairs.

The guy kept stepping in front of him, looking at him and smiling little. "Not here, Em. Two more stairs down."

"okay."

Emily followed Jordan's steps pretty quickly. The room they passed by felt very spacious the longer they stepped. The girl is betting that if Chloe finds a room like this, she will immediately expand it and fill it with some furniture to make it feel comfortable for herd members. Not abandoned like this.

Jordan again opened the door, showing a smaller, darkened room. The air feels more humid, maybe Alex too rarely opens this room until the wolf chick feels like he wants to go back upstairs to breathe fresh air.

"One more ladder" Jordan said, perhaps sensing Emily's desire to escape.

The girl nodded slowly and continued to follow the man's steps without saying until she arrived in front of the third door made of iron without rust stains.

Actually there was nothing strange about the door except the fact that it was not affected by the humid air of the room, but his instincts said something was wrong from the room. It had been a long time that his instincts could appear suddenly in his still weak state in this place.

"Alex is there?"

The girl tried to calm herself down and forced herself to shake her head. "It's okay." He just has to get out of here.

The guy nodded in understanding and pushed the door open-along with Emily who immediately turned her body and ran towards the second door. The strong smell of wolfsbane can be smelled at a glance by him, making his legs slightly weakened, but he forced himself to keep running.

Foolish as hell he could be fooled by that goddamn vampire guy, should be from whoever he knows best that working with an old vampire is a very fatal recklessness and should not be on his mind.

Emily can feel Jordan running after her, getting closer and quickly throwing her against the wall, intending to make her stop and lose a crushing blow.

Very precise decision.

The girl was choked by the breath she had not yet managed to inhale and a lump of blood that appeared due to the side effects of wolfsbane she had kissed. His head felt heavy and clammy.

"Nearly." the sound of breaths circled the room.

Emily blinked her eyes several times, trying to keep herself awake and immediately woke up. He could not fight properly if he were to be weak like this.

"It's a good thing you held him back," said another voice that had just popped a few steps away from him. Alex's Voice. "If he manages to escape, I don't know what's going to happen."

A footstep approached him. Emily only found a hazy shadow of someone wearing a black shirt with scotch jeans before she blinked her eyes, looked at Alex who was crouching in front of her and chuckled softly.

"Well, how are you, little wolf?" tanyakanya.

Emily spat at him in response and smirked. "Fucking vampire."

He clicked his tongue, a smile still playing on his lips. "It's not my fault that you're caught up in my deception, I think you'll act smarter."

Emily's hand floated to claw at the guy's face, but her movements were less rapid. Alex's hand stopped him first and grabbed him by the neck, lifted him to his feet and made him short of breath.

"Le .. pas," said Emily growling stifled, her elongated fingernails stuck to the man's arm, but Alex was not at all bothered by the dark blood that had dripped on the floor.

"Better what to do first?" mumbling slowly.

"Take him off, Alex." A calm voice interrupted the room. "He's my business."

Alex clicked his tongue when he heard the voice, but complied and removed his hand from Emily's neck.

The wolf girl immediately took a bated breath, her neck was definitely bruised. His eyes blinked and found a girl he hadn't seen in a long time behind Alex.

"Hi, Em," said Liene with a smile on her lips.

"Liene," he said a little surprised. "What"

The vampire girl showed her one finger, making Emily stop her words. "I want to make a deal with you."

"What deal?"

"About Wayne."

Emily blinked her eyes, understanding in an instant when she realized the sickening smell of the three vampires was exactly the same in her kiss. Why did he just realize that?

"You're the Way."

Liene raised her eyebrows and glared at Alex at a glance before smiling meaningfully. "Yes, right."

"Where's Wayne?"

"In my house, safe and secure, unharmed."

"You held her there so I couldn't pick her up" said Emily, holding a growl that barely escaped her mouth. "Why did you do that to me?"

"Because I like him and .. have you ever heard the term 'who's fast, who's got it'? I got it first. I'm not cheating, am I?" rhetorical question. "It's your fault that you didn't mark it as a whole."

Emily closed her eyes, deciding to hold back her turbulent emotions. "What's the deal?"

"You get out of here and Wayne will stay safe without needing to be tied up forever or you stay here and Wayne will be turned into a vampire, just like me," he smiled. "Well, so, what's your choice now?"
