Grace and Chloe have arrived at the restaurant. The atmosphere was still very quiet as they came before the opening hours of the restaurant, there was only Lilian and a few junior members of the herd present to welcome as well as start preparing their restaurant before it opened.

"Hello, Grace and Chloe! The stuff can be put in the break room first." Lilian greeted you cheerfully. "I'll be clear what you should do after this."

"Okay, please help, Lilian."

"Yes!"

"Where is the place?" Chloe asked because no one had directed them to the restroom.

"Oh, yes. Over here."

Chloe immediately followed Lilian who was walking towards the kitchen, where the break room was next to her, while Grace looked around at the state of Lilian's restaurant which already looked different from when their herd first came.

"Definitely look different?"

Grace looked at a guy who was somewhat younger than her greeting, her smile looking sweet. "Yes, you guys got some renovations?"

He's nodding. "The ceiling was replaced to make it look brighter, the motif also fits our logo."

"Sean! Haven't you been spreading the charm again?"

Grace looked at Sean's misbehaved face as she raised both hands, as if she was showing him innocence. "I'm just explaining that we've had some renovations, Lily."

"Oh, okay." Lilian looked at Grace and grabbed her hand. "Come on Grace, you need to get changed before you go to work."

Grace had no choice but to follow the girl's steps. In the break room, Chloe was already wearing the same uniform as them and tied her hair into tangled strands. The things he carries are placed next to the sofa you once slept on.

"Ayeah, Grace wants to be a backup chef or waiter? If the cashier's been taken first with Chloe's sister."

"Just chef, I'm not too patient with serving people."

"Taste good, don't worry." Chloe added to Grace's remark upon seeing Lilian's doubtful expression.

He laughed awkwardly. "What a look, brother? Sorry."

"It's okay, my ability was always doubted the first time."

"Is that?" Lilian looked at you with an expectant look. Grace nodded as she grabbed the available uniform. "If so, Sean means it won't be hard teaching our restaurant recipes."

"Sure, you can count on me."

"okay! Grace can go straight to the kitchen. Come on, Chloe's sister, let's go to the cashier."

Lilian grabs Chloe's arm and takes her away quickly, while Grace begins to wear a uniform and other supplies for cooking. Her stuff's been put side by side with Chloe's.

Moving to the kitchen, Sean had prepared ingredients and a paper inscribed with recipes. Grace read the recipe while following the directions the man gave her. His first meal ended successfully in one try.

"Well, are you really that good?"

"I've tried to make this at home, but failed, it turns out the spice is a little bit of my estimation."

"So it looks like, it's worth it. Today I will definitely not be troubled. Thank you for coming, Grace." Sean smiled happily.

The girl simply nodded while returning her smile, hoping that the order amount today would not be as much as when they first came. Just by imagining it, Grace was already feeling lazy.

Grace's hope was not fulfilled. Although the guest did not snag out of the restaurant courtyard, all the tables were filled. Chloe looks the busiest because she has to go back and forth to deliver orders, while she starts replacing Sean every two orders come in. Ryan who came late to take care of platting and dressing their dishes.

"Are you getting tired? Ryan can replace you if you want."

"It's okay, I can still."

"OKAY. Just tell me so you can change later."

Grace muttered in response, still focused in her cooking.

Time passed by unnoticed, the guests had already begun to thin out and now there were only two tables left before Lilian's restaurant closed. Chloe was already in the break room due to exhaustion. Zee took his place to take care of the inter-order.

"Thank you for coming! Please come again tomorrow." Lilian said that when the last guest came home.

They took a short break while eating a late lunch, fortunately there was still leftover material from the stock today so Ryan could instantly make it and share it with each of them.

"Sister Chloe must be tired, huh? Sorry, but it's only your first day here...."

"Well, maybe we're lucky, our restaurant is always crowded." Lilian smiled at him and Grace. "Thank you for helping us today."

"Please help him tomorrow too, brother." Zee chuckled as he looked at Chloe's paled face. "Handler."

"Tomorrow the turn of the other junior group, Zee is just a fad."

Grace and Chloe quietly sighed in relief. If tomorrow they have to be like this again, especially for Chloe's part, they're not sure they can last for the next three months.

"By the way, I don't see any senior members working here. Do you run this restaurant yourself?"

They were seen glancing at each other before Lilian answered Grace's question like nothing had happened. "Ah, no. We do this with senior members, but if they usually get a turn at the weekend, because they have another job on a regular day."

"So .. I thought you guys managed it yourself."

Ryan laughed awkwardly. "That's impossible."

"We don't have the capital to create this restaurant if we only rely on junior members." Zee added with a chuckle, but she did not stare at Grace as she spoke.

"Come, finish the food, it's already the night."

They immediately finished the short meal while chatting trivial things and then tidied up the kitchen utensils and cleaned the table. Grace and Chloe will finally make their way to Lilian's sister's herd.

Stefan stayed in his room. He had been sitting there for almost an hour, thinking about whether he should have run away on the grounds that there was a new job he had just found out about, or stay at her house so she can later confess her whereabouts to Grace.

Her heart had not stopped pounding so hard at the sight of Grace from the window of the restaurant, and had immediately stopped when they were barely looking at her. Stefan felt like someone who had just experienced puberty and was playing hide-and-seek with his own partner.

Although the reality was like that, he felt that their hide-and-seek game would stop if Grace had met him in person. The man will no longer be able to hide the bond between them as he is now.

As her doubts grow, Stefan can feel Grace getting closer.

Grace and Chloe can see the entrance of the herd house, very different from their home which looks simple and without any protection.

Lilian immediately ran to hug a guy who welcomed their arrival, or rather, received a surprise attack from the girl so she immediately stood up.

"This is Bram, I'm his mate and he's my mate." The girl was seen writhing in Bram's arms. "He's so cute, right?"

"Hello." Bram greeted them politely, while the other junior members pranked the boy and quickly ran inside. The previously sour face looks red.

"Please let me go ... Lily's."

"Okay, Bram." Lilian gave up her embrace and walked over to Grace and Chloe who were still waiting. "See you later."

"Sorry, that looks ridiculous huh? I can't help myself because she always gives a cute reaction."

Chloe smiled for the first time after going through today. Grace saw him who still held back longing for his departed mate. "It's okay, you guys look good for each other."

"Thank you! Let's get you guys inside."

Grace nodded and they finally stepped through the previously closed entrance. She and Chloe stared at the houses side by side with the lights on, but no one wandered out other than them.

"Our flock set a strict curfew so no one plays this clock." Lilian explained as you continued walking. "Tomorrow morning we'll welcome you, it's okay, right?"

"It's okay, we're also quite tired now."

"I'm sorry about that too, Grace and Chloe."

Chloe shook her head. "We understand, you don't have to apologize constantly."

"Is that so? I'm tired too."

They chuckled together before Lilian turned her attention to someone walking over. Suddenly Grace felt her heartbeat quicken and the same feeling when she woke up in the restaurant.

"Sister Stefan! Is it that brother is coming?"

"Yes. Of course I have to welcome our guests, right?" Stefan rubbed Lilian's hair gently before smiling at Grace and Chloe. "Hello, nice to meet you guys, Chloe and ... Grace."

Grace's face hardened when she realized that the guy in front of her was the mate she had been waiting for all this time.
