A Werewolf Girl's

A Werewolf Girl's
1.17

Allison fled to her four feet into the forest, past the trees whose leaves had fallen, feeling the wind gently slamming its thickened fur as a result of the coming winter. For a moment she could feel herself forgetting her grief to drive Emily away.

Slow down, Ally.

That calm voice resounded in her empty eyes. Allison sighed, trying not to care about Dave who suddenly felt close to him and kept running at the same speed. Don't bother, Dave. I want to be alone.

Can't do. Dave returned it.

I order you to stop chasing as an Alpha now.

There's no response. The girl breathed a sigh of relief and refocused only on her four legs that kept running between the leaf clumps.

Excuse me.

Allison again heard Dave's toneless voice before feeling a fairly loud impact from beside her body, making her roll with something that hit a tree and let out all the breath she inhaled loudly.

"What are you doing?" allison asked gasping for breath, looking down at Dave's face lying face on his shirt and feeling a mixture of shock, anger and shame in him at this moment. "Why did you stop me?"

"It's my responsibility as your mate, Ally. Not leaving you alone."

Dave raised his face after saying those two sentences. His two black eyes looked at Allison who was still lying down with an unreadable gaze that the girl replied with the same gaze - as much as possible.

The guy said nothing more to her, no soft words or anything, he just reached out to the girl and immediately pulled her in a hug. Warm.

I-i know. Dave interrupted Allison's mind which now felt foggy.

Allison gave a small smile as she closed her eyes, making her face close to Dave's shoulder which was quite a field. "I'm silly, right?"

"Not ridiculous" answered Dave quietly. "I know that you're just afraid Emily isn't coming back here."

"What do you mean?"

Your mother

Allison opened her eyes in shock, slightly raising her face to look back at the guy who was still holding her. "You know where it's coming from?"

There's no response. Dave just looked down and tried to take his gaze away from the face of the girl who kept looking at him curiously without being hidden, shining for an immediate answer.

The guy sighed softly. "I saw it .. in your head."

"You peeked into my mind?" The girl sounded shocked and incredulous. For a while his mind was distracted from the cause of his grief.

Allison lowered her face back onto Dave's shoulders, muffling her voice on the shirt the guy was wearing. "I can't keep anything from you, can I?"

"I think so."

"It's not fair...."

Dave pulled her closer. He could feel the man's breath in his hair that might be breaking apart, imagining a smile that might be engraved on his lips. "You're so innocent."

"What?"

"Sugary."

"You're a fuss"

A gentle touch on the lips was enough to make Allison completely distracted. That was the first thing Dave could realize when he first endorsed the girl as his mate.

Slowly but surely, Allison lets herself relax in Dave's arms and kisses the guy back, moving in accordance with the motion of his lips so carefully - washed completely into the touch of the man which is very rare.

The girl let the burden of the past and the senseless worries of Emily's departure slip away from her. He realized that he should be the most aware of the conditions that make the circumstances of the two events will be so different from each other.

"Is it better?"

Allison lowered her head, trying to collect breaths into her deflated lungs. "I guess yes."

Both of Dave's hands were raised to distance between them and help Allison stand up. The look in his eyes examined the girl's slightly reddened face on the cheekbones and spread to the ears, not once returning Dave's gaze as usual. Has he done it too much?

.... maybe yes, but it doesn't matter now. He does this for Allison and everything that disturbs the positive side of the girl, happily, he gets rid of. To Allison and himself.

.

"You're a special couple" Chloe said one day when Allison asked about mate.

"Why?"

"If you're not born, Dave deserves the Alpha position. His family's position is after your family's in this herd."

"So he's pure blood too?"

Chloe nodded. "So he didn't take you like Malcolm, secretly" he replied with a slanted smile, "but I'm sure everything changed after feeling you were his mate, Ally. He fell first."
