Emily walked over to the waiting area for the nurses. He could see several nurses were standing guard there, looking serious about their respective jobs.

"Hello, the patient in room no. 257 is conscious" he told one of the nurses. "Can you please check the situation?"

The nurse looked up at him and immediately checked his computer. "Allison Cartwraight, huh?" the nurse asked to make sure.

"Yes." Yeah."

The nurse pressed her computer cursor a few times then nodded while commenting on the friendly smile. "The doctor we've called, wait for his arrival in about 10 minutes."

"Thank you."

Emily immediately went from there and stepped quickly to the bottom floor, some of her friends had been waiting at the cafe outside the hospital since then.

"Emmy!" He could hear someone calling him when he got to the cafe. The nuance looks much different from the somber impression of the hospital hallway. He feels more relieved here

Emily rolled her gaze around and found a reddish-brown curly-haired woman waving towards her excitedly. Chloe's.

Emily immediately approached and threw herself on one of the available benches. Exhaling her breath out loud after her back can lean on the padded chair and smell the fragrant aroma of the cafe laden with coffee and baked bread.

"How is he doing?" chloe asked as she drank the cappucino float in her glass.

"She's fine" replied Emily closing her eyes. "When he came to, I didn't see any strangeness from him."

Chloe nodded her head in understanding. "May there be nothing strange."

Emily nodded. He also expects the same thing, let alone this about his best friend who has an important position for him and his other friends. With his position now easier to reach than when in the orphanage, they should have been able to more easily watch over him, but it turned out that his guess was wrong.

Someone should have been watching him. But who? Their group is still small and would be too conspicuous if there were strangers following Allison continuously. He was also with Allison quite often. They have no ability to hide themselves.

Her hand moved to grab the glass containing strawberry milkshakes, which Chloe had ordered for her, then drank it in a few big sips. "Where are the others?" he asked when he realized the other benches around their table were not occupied by anyone. "They haven't come?"

Chloe nodded. "Malcolm refused to come, you know for yourself how he was, Dave finally had to intervene to persuade him to come along. The others also prefer to come with Dave rather than with me."

"You came alone?" ask Emily again.

"No," Chloe shook her head. "The twins are with me, they're in the toilet."

Emily nodded her head in understanding, then checked the circular watch on her left wrist.

"I have to go upstairs for a second" Emily said when she saw the time. "Call me when everything's up, Clo."

"Yes." Yeah."

Emily immediately finished her drink and moved from there, entering the elevator which then headed to the floor where Allison was treated.

"His doctor has arrived?" ask Emily when she enters her best friend's room.

Allison nodded. "She said I could leave tomorrow morning."

"Well..you want me to take your change of clothes?" asked Emily to raise her eyebrows at her best friend. "You stink."

Allison immediately threw her pillow at Emily and she caught it with a loud laugh.

"Damn it," said Allison upset, despite laughing freely with him.

"But it's true, isn't it?" ask Emily on the sidelines of her laughter that is beginning to die down. "I'm rarely wrong about anything."

Allison shook her head, still laughing. "Whatever, Em."

Suddenly there was a knock that made them immediately relieve laughter and Emily immediately moved from the previous place to open the door. A blond man in sand looked to be tilting his head with a friendly smile.

"Hi" he said staring at Emily and Allison in turn. "Can I come in?"

"You–" said Allison unsure, looking at her with a fixed glance. "–cowok in the library?"

"You know my name?" ask Allison again, surprised.

He's nodding. "We were in algebra class. My name is Will."

"What's it for here?" emily suddenly replaced her best friend who had wanted to ask her the same question. "Do we know you?"

He scrunched his forehead. "Uhm, actually not really, I just came to visit. Can't it?"

No. gabe. The word was stuck on Emily's tongue, she couldn't possibly say it that clearly. "Maybe," said Emily at last. He opened the door wider, a sign that the boy could come in. "Please."

"T'rims."

The boy stepped into the room and thrust a bouquet of flowers at Allison. "For you."

Allison accepted it with a doubtful smile. "Thank you."

The guy nodded. Emily closed the door to Allison's room and walked up to the two of them, dragging another chair to sit together. He watches over Will and Allison's chatter which slowly starts to flow smoothly.

"You just came to visit?" emily asked to stop the conversation.

The guy nodded. "Yes, I happened to be with Allison in an algebra class. I just wanted to tell her what to do."

Emily nodded in understanding. He felt his jacket pocket vibrate so he reached into it to grab his flaming phone.

"Hello?" Emily said as she got up from her seat to get away from Will and Allison. Phone call from Chloe.

He stepped closer to the door and opened it to step outside and closed the door again tightly.

"We're ready, can we go upstairs now?" ask Chloe. There was another murmur behind it that indicated that almost all of his friends had gathered.

"Well, don't" replied Emily shaking her head even though Chloe couldn't see it at all. "He's here."

"Who?" chloe asked in surprise, she also lowered her voice just as Emily did, got out of the chair she was sitting in and into one of the toilet cubicles.

Emily sighed softly before answering. "Winner Whitney. William." - William."

"What?" Chloe was heard hissing the word at him quickly, trying desperately not to make a loud noise that caught the attention of anyone who might be in the toilet. "You must be kidding me, why is he visiting Allison? They don't know each other, do they?"

"Let's go, it looks like they've met." Emily recalled the time Allison borrowed books longer in the library. "She's just visiting and delivering the group tasks they have to do."

There was no response from Chloe for a while. "What should we do now?"

"Don't know," said Emily slowly, she did not understand at all what the person was thinking so she dared to show herself who was always hiding. "I can't think of anything."

It sounded faintly from Chloe after a while before being silent for quite a long time. "It looks like me and the others should go back now. That guy just came in, right?"

"Yes." Yeah." Emily grimaces concerned. "Sorry, Clo."

Chloe sighs. "It's okay. Take care of Allison for us, Em."

"Yes." Yeah."

Chloe disconnected her phone. Emily closes her phone screen and puts it in her jacket pocket again. He turned around from where he was leaning, intending to return to Allison's room.

"What were you talking about?" A not too unfamiliar voice rang out in his ears, making him fixated on the spot.

"You.." said Emily faltered. ".... How long has it been?"

She smiles. "Since a few minutes after you left the room."

Damnit. Emily looked at the figure before her vigilantly. What else is this?

"I'm on your side." Will repeated his words. "I don't want this fight to reoccur."
