A Werewolf Girl's

A Werewolf Girl's

The road passes quickly as Stefan drives, he still tries to ignore the pounding of his heart, while Grace seems to remain calm despite their situation. The man could not even hear Grace's heart beating despite their close distance.

If you look at the experiences of the members of the group, especially when they are still in the early stages of meeting as a mate, there is no day without a debate or a sense of excitement between the couple. Sometimes they even directly channel it blatantly, but of course still see the existence of small children or parents who are in the group, if not wanted in court by other group members.

Their case may not be as usual because of his own actions.

Stefan sighed and refocused his gaze on the street in front of him. Their conversation will be much more important than the situation he is facing now.

"We've arrived."

Grace took her hand off Stefan's waist and stepped down. The man tried to show a smile when his partner looked serious.

"Where are we going?"

Stefan asked after Grace did not also walk towards the shopping mall from the parking lot. An ordinary day in the morning before noon this time, the place they visited would not be as full as usual, but going home later they may have to face a sea of people who just come to rest or shop after a long period of work.

The woman finally replied after a long time of thought. "Cafe only."

"okay."

Grace walks first while Stefan catches up with her in the back. The woman had absolutely no intention of letting him walk side by side with her, but also did not step too fast so as to leave her. Stefan silently smiled as he received that little attention from his partner.

They took a place close to the display case of pastries that looked tantalizing, fragrant like they would make Theo gulp his saliva, but because there was only Grace, Stefan could only see it from the girl's mind.

"Aren't you able to stop your peeking behavior from my mind? I'm starting to feel uncomfortable."

Stefan immediately lowered his head and squeezed both of his hands, feeling guilty for not being able to control his curiosity. "I'm sorry, I'm interested because your reflection on Theo is clear."

"Well .. I don't blame you." Grace stared at the cakes that were next to their seats. "This cafe was his recommendation, so I suddenly thought about it because he had discussed the various menus here several times."

"You miss them?"

Grace looked at him before turning her eyes back. "No, I haven't been with them in a few days. Why should I miss those kids?"

"That's it…."

Stefan knew that Grace was lying, but said nothing to justify it. He knew that the woman's current feelings would be unimaginable to him, because the man had not experienced the moments where he was separated by the herd directly like Grace had experienced.

Their order finally comes and Stefan still asks a few questions about Grace's herd. The man still wanted to know about his partner even though only part of it, but the woman seemed to realize her intentions and cut off her question and answer session that had lasted for some time.

"So, what do you want to explain to me here, Stefan?"

Stefan felt back pounding when Grace suddenly called out his name. This was the first time the woman had called out to him, but she instantly controlled her expression. "I'll tell you the reason why I hid my identity all this time and .. something our herd is going through."

"OKAY. I was curious as to why you were hiding your identity, but why should I know about the problems your flock is facing as well?"

The man smiled sadly. "You'll be part of our herd for a few months, so of course you have to know what's going on with our herd."

Grace seemed dissatisfied with the answer, but did not protest either. He was seen eating a donut he ordered before speaking. "What's the reason you've been hiding your identity all this time?"

"What does your identity have to do with your flock?" grace did not seem to understand. He thought that the two were different languages.

"There, the condition of our herd is now being divided into two camps. I am the head of one of the camps, while my uncle is the head of the other."

Grace's facial expression seemed to immediately understand what was going on in their flock. "The matter of the leader of the flock."

"really. I was already the current leader, but since my uncle is still alive, some senior members still hold on to my uncle's leadership."

"Have you talked about this to your troubled members?"

Stefan shakes. "I've been looking for a way, but they keep rejecting it because they think I'm not worthy. They feel that my uncle should be the leader this time."

"But the most votes are still held by you, right? That's why you're still the leader of the herd."

"That's right, I won because more members supported me, but most of the core members of my father's leadership had already turned to my uncle."

The man thought of some senior members who had previously been close to him, but turning to his uncle because he felt the idea of the oldest member of the herd was the best solution to another problem that led members on his side to find work to support them and open restaurants.

Stefan also knew that his uncle's idea was very profitable, but he also broke the old rules that became their noble value as werewolves, especially towards the future of their herd that has been tainted without being realized by the children.

Thinking about it again, Stefan felt useless as the leader of his flock, especially as Lilian's older brother, who always showed his hatred for their uncle, for failing to find a way to clear up the long-standing problems.

Looking back at Grace, Stefan looked at the woman who did not take his eyes off as before. "It looks like your flock's problems are more complicated than what you're explaining to me right now."

"That's .. true."

Stefan can't deny it because that's what's happening to his flock. She tries to hold back as best she can, but once she is with Grace, she unknowingly starts to leak what she feels.

Grace shuffled her hair, clearly accepting Stefan's feelings were very obvious. "Are you using my punishment as a way to use us?"

"We had no choice because we had to take advantage of every opportunity, by chance, you turned out to be one of our chances to change things."

The woman went back into silence and ruffled her hair and gulped down her drink in a few gulps. A waiter came to pick up a new drink for her, before Grace returned to speak. "You should have explained this to Chloe. He knows better how to deal with something like this than I do."

"I know." Grace suddenly looked at him as Stefan said that, but could not interpret the meaning of his gaze. "Because it was Lilian who explained to Chloe at home."

Grace nodded. "So what do you need?"

"You don't ask anything else?" ask Stefan. She secretly felt grateful that the woman was this calm in response to her story, but felt doubtful that Grace should have been more against it for just explaining it now, not before they arrived at her flock.

"Suppose it's paid for telling. I'd rather you say it like this" said Grace cutting off her mind.

"Thank you, Grace."

Stefan tried to grab Grace's hand, but the woman immediately brushed him off. "It doesn't have to be like that, after all, I haven't helped you at all."

The man could see Grace's hand knocking on the table nervously, while she smiled faintly. Their hearts pounded together because of the bond that began to form after so long.
