School ends sooner than usual. Emily sighed silently, relieved to be able to part with the pungent odors of the vampires' bodies that sometimes made her feel like vomiting if she accidentally came into contact with the vampires walking past her.
It didn't take long for him to finish the papers and say goodbye to Alex who is today his classmate. Both of his legs immediately moved out of the room and led to another class. Amanda Class. He has to find out about something that only the vampire chick knows.
"Somehow, maybe he's out," replied a vampire chick in an indifferent tone and immediately abandoned herself.
Emily immediately switched from that class and walked carelessly down the hallway of the class. His hand moved to reach his phone in the bag and immediately checked the sms and chat room, just one text from Mrs. Rowan said that he would be twenty minutes away. Still a long time, where is that chick now?
"Searching?"
Emily surged in shock, she almost jumped back if she did not lean against the school wall at the moment. Amanda smiled obliquely at a glance and then put on a flat face again. "What's wrong?"
"You surprised me." Emily glares.
"What's wrong?" He again asked without caring about his comments and gaze.
"Who did that to Wayne?" ask Emily at last.
The flat-faced girl raised her eyebrows, looking astonished. "You still don't know?"
Emily shook her head, she only knew the dominant nature and sex of the possessive vampire. The problems of age, characteristics and name are simply not in his knowledge. If he knew all that, why did he ask again?
They began to walk through the classroom hallway that led to the parking lot. Mrs. Rowan said that he would pick up in front of the parking lot that might have seemed lengthened from fifteen minutes ago.
"I can't tell you," Amanda replied in the end.
Emily snorted softly at the answer. "Because I'm not a vampire?"
"Yes." Yeah." He answered without hesitation. "But other than that I want you to solve your own problems, I'll just watch and comment if there's anything wrong with what you're doing later."
"That's wise."
Amanda simply shrugged her shoulders indifferently, ignoring the blatant sarcastic tone of the feather blob girl. He deliberately increased his walking speed, leaving Emily, who had been left behind so as not to ask any questions. His head was already very dizzy just by implicitly telling the nature and gender of the possessive vampire yesterday.
"Oh." Amanda murmured in surprise all of a sudden and stopped walking. Emily, who had been behind him, soon followed, staring at the unreadable expression on the vampire girl's face and intending to turn to see what happened.
The vampire's hand immediately jerked his body before it happened, looking at him full of warning. "Don't look."
"What?"
The vampire girl did not answer anymore. He just grabbed Emily's arm and intended to pull her away from there immediately, not expecting any commotion to happen at his school even though the other vampires had already returned home.
Not successfully.
Emily immediately jerked her hands and turned to look at the sight of the two figures hugging each other and behind her. Wayne and Lauren.
A pair of eyes from one of the figures looked back at him, looking defiant and underestimating him without a shadow of an aling-aling. He could only get fixated when the girl acted quickly by peeping at the neck of the guy still in her arms and then raising his arm to grab the guy's nape and kiss him inside.
Mine.
His sense of well-being soon disappeared quickly. He was unable to see, hear and think anything other than the two figures who were still tightly squeezed together. All he wanted was to tear and finish off the vampire who had casually touched hers when he could not move. His mate.
Not yours.
The vampire smiled as if he had heard her words. His lips curved into a grin and immediately broke away. Flipping the body of the man who had previously turned his back on Emily into a shield.
Try it if you can. Make him yours again.
He stared at Emily one last time and immediately disappeared, leaving the man's body immediately unsteady as a result of a quick punch that was barely visible.

"The vampire controls Lauren, doesn't it?"
Amanda nodded.
After the Wayne incident that lost consciousness and could not be resuscitated quickly, Mrs. Rowan immediately helped them lift the body and then put it in the car.
Emily stays in the car when Amanda and her mother walk together to the front door of the boy's house (Amanda carries Wayne on her back).
Mrs. Rowan said nothing after that. He just shook his head and smiled sympathetically towards the two of them as if he had known what had happened to them without any explanation.
"What the vampire says is true, if you don't have it soon enough, he'll be locked up there forever. With her."
Emily simply closed her eyes on the bed and then laid her body there. His emotions are still unstable. Seeing the incident in front of his own eyes made him shaken outside in–although he did not want to admit it.
He did not want to look weak in front of anyone.
"You've looked weak just like that, a lump of fur."
The girl opened her eyes and glared at the vampire girl. "You can read my mind."
Amanda shakes. "Reading the mind is just a myth, there is only guessing the gesture and how to speak the opponent." He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, that's my opinion."
Emily let out a deep breath and closed her eyes again. They repeat events that have been seen before and try to absorb them with a cool head, skipping the unimportant but listening to the important part.
"That means Lauren and Wayne aren't a couple?"
The vampire girl simply nodded in response. His hand was seen patting the wooden floor he was sitting on while–entah how– hummed softly. With a bit of gratitude, Emily calms down with the accidental help of Amanda.
"It's just pretend," the girl replied. "Lauren is better suited to being Wayne's older brother than a girlfriend. And that's the truth, right?"
The girl nodded in silence, remembering that the house Mrs visited. Rowan to drive Wayne is Lauren's house. The boy was raised as a child by the vampire family several years ago, without knowing the obvious origins, Mrs said. Rowans.
"Wait a minute." Emily immediately rose from her sleeping position and looked at the vampire girl who was still busy humming. "Where are Wayne's parents, Am?"
The vampire girl looked at him fixedly and then shrugged her shoulders. "Eitherway. I don't know either, a feathery blob."
