As Sean expected, their restaurant guests finally dwindled after three days of opening event yesterday. There was no queue they had to serve without being able to rest. The kitchen staff can finally take turns in taking care of orders and relax a little.

"We'll be back after lunch."

Lilian nodded. "okay!"

He stared at some of the staff who, for a while, walked back to the territory of their herd house and brought foodstuffs that were considered to exceed the stock needed today. Lilian and Sean thought it best they would start a morning and afternoon shift system to divide staff hours and slash the amount of groceries by taking into account upcoming guests until the afternoon.

They both decided this so that their energy was not drained like the opening event yesterday. Their previous working hours were too crowded that Sean and Lilian did not have time to decide this sooner. Even if there is time, they prefer to rest while they can.

The sound of the door suddenly splashing open in the staff room made Lilian turn her head.

"Sister?"

His brother was not seen aware of his call. His eyes were fixed on Ryan who looked nervous and could not return his gaze.

"Ryan, can I borrow your shirt?"

The tallest of them looked surprised. "I'm sorry?" He seems to have heard wrong.

"Your face is here." His tone sounded hurried. "Please give it to me."

"Good."

Ryan immediately opened the cupboard and handed Stefan his clothes.

"Thank you."

His sister immediately left after saying that.

They all looked at each other, asking what had just happened in silence. This was the first time they had seen their brother and the leader who always looked calm was panicking.

"Something seems to be happening." Ryan opened his voice for the first time.

"Should we follow him?"

"I don't think that's important." The staff who replaced Zee immediately returned to speak. "Stefan always asks for help if you feel the need, you know that too, right? Especially if it's important, we're not going to get involved in this."

Usually the more senior members who will settle it with his brother. Members in an age group like them are never involved.

"So we have to follow it first." Mia is connecting the conversation. "If it's important, we're going to tell the other members to help Stefan."

"Agreed."

Lilian listened to their conversation while serving the guests who had just arrived. She also wanted to come along, but her brother and the seniors had already given her the responsibility of the restaurant, she had to stay here.

"Then Sean and Ryan are leaving. I'm the one who's gonna"

The staff room door opened. Lilian heard a surprised voice from the kitchen staff, the silence after which made her turn her head and immediately saw her brother return by carrying a girl on his back. The figure is seen wearing Ryan's shirt and Stefan's jacket tied around his hip.

"Who is that?"

"Is he okay?"

The kitchen staff looked curious about the figure. His sister did not once pay attention to their question and only brought the figure into their break room.

Lilian immediately followed her brother after seeing the gaze that had been directed at him. The guy seemed to want to tell her something. Upon arriving beside her, her brother was carefully laying the figure on the sofa, his blushing hair showing his face quite clearly.

"Sister Grace?" The girl looked surprised.

His sister looked just as surprised. You knew her?"

"He was the first to try my hand at a sample. He also came with the herd yesterday...."

"That's what it looks like."

"What happened to her?"

Brother shakes. "He was exhausted, for what reason. Do you know herd contacts?"

Lilian nodded. "Someone from his flock ordered lunch from us, I think his name is Theo, I'll pass this on to him."

"alright. Tell him to come right away and remind him of the ban we discussed yesterday."

"Yes, brother."

Stefan stared at the figure for a few moments then patted her on the shoulder. "I'm first."

The man seemed to be silent before smiling and continuing his steps again. "no need. I have something to do."

"Okay, watch out brother!" Lilian returned her smile.

Why just now?

Stefan felt his breath gasping for going against his instinct to be with his mate.

Grace....

It had already been three years after he had managed to shut down his instinctive mating access in order not to interfere with the activity, but by being faced head-on like this, the guy could barely do anything to control it. I think he's almost crazy.

But, I can't. He's got to hold it.

With his situation still unstable, however, he would not meet his mate again. Too dangerous. Especially with the state of that person who was getting better with the people who were by his side.

Stefan absolutely must not let his guard down, even though he and the other members have put out their best efforts to prevent bad things against his herd. The problem of mate is a matter of umpteenth that is not at all important when compared to the peace of the herd for the next.

He snorted laughing, feeling started to craze. The guy can remember his face clearly and his breath feels warm when it is very close to his face.

Grace woke up, fragrant delicious cuisine that was no stranger immediately smelled in her room. Whether where she is now, the girl does not know, she just feels hungry due to the fragrant tantalizing food.

She stared at her body which was only wrapped in an unfamiliar T-shirt and a jacket that held the bottom of her t-shirt. It seemed like he had fainted after running according to his instincts and drained his energy that was not as good as it used to be. The girl was too busy with her approach to Hans.

"Are you awake?"

The girl looked towards the voice she heard. "You...."

"We meet again, brother." Lilian smiled at him, thrusting a drink at him. "Are you okay."

He took the drink. "I'm not sure. What the hell happened to me?"

"You don't remember?"

Grace was silent, gulping down the hot chocolate she was holding. "I ran ... to your restaurant?"

The girl can remember her running in the wolf form of the herd house, talking to herself about her unflappable mate and the feeling of peace when she was unconscious. Grace wasn't sure what happened after that.

".... Do you have a problem with your flock?" Lilian's face looked worried about her. "If I don't remember wrongly, your place is a long way from here, right?"

"It's not because of my flock." Grace immediately laughed, covering up her misdeeds. He couldn't possibly say that the cause ran this far because of that damn mate, right? His pride would be hurt even though they had only met a few times. "It's nothing, I just happened to run all the way here."

The girl stared at him for a while. "I hope you don't forget the ban we talked about, it's the second time for you."

God fucking. He forget.

"I'm sorry." He couldn't look at the girl in front of him, feeling guilty. "It's purely my fault, please don't involve our herd in this."

"true." Lilian sighed. "Let's just say I never heard of your excuses until I ended up here. My brother would have changed his mind if he had known about this."

"Thank you."

Lilian nodded. "I've called your flock, Theo said Dave will pick you up."

Grace looked at him in surprise. "Do you have any contact members of our herd?"

"She ordered lunch this morning. The guy said that he really liked the menu of this restaurant to be willing to order it from a place far enough from here." The girl smiled. "Just be calm, I won't take the shuttle fee because you're here to pick up."

Grace's feelings were mixed, her face felt a little hot after hearing the girl's words. "That's what it looks like." He wanted to get out of here out of shame.

"I'm first, brother."

The girl nodded without replying to Lilian.

After this she will definitely run out in the hands of her sister and Chloe.
