"You... kidding right?" tanyakanya.

Emily still could not believe the figure before her. His people and their people have been in conflict ever since that happened. How could he, after so much time had passed, make this decision?

"No. I'll help you as much as I can" Will replied. "I've been with Whitney for a long time, I know what she might do if we don't act right away."

Emily was silent, looking closely at the man in front of her to look for lies that might be hidden behind her friendly face. He knew, even though the figure before him looked the same age as him, but he had lived for more than a century and was much stronger than him with a thin looking body.

If this wasn't in the hospital and they were fighting each other, the chick would lose easily. The smell of his body that is not sickening to Emily also shows that the man has very good self-control. The superiority that led to his identity would not be known easily by other werewolves.

"What's your plan?" ask Emily at the end.

The guy smiled. "First, we need to move Allison out of her apartment."

"Where?" she asked, her eyes suddenly sharpened as she gave the answer that came to her mind. "To your house?"

"No," replied the man quickly. "Move him to your base."

Emily looked surprised to hear the man's answer. "You know our headquarters?"

He's nodding. "I had time to investigate it myself" he said slowly. "Whitney had absolutely no idea what I found in the middle of the small frontier forest while I was hunting. Your place is really too predictable that no one found it."

Emily remained silent. He didn't listen to Will's words to him at all.

"Do you agree?"

Too easily.

Emily still feels unable to trust the vampire in front of her. Although it did not feel bad intentions from him since his arrival until now, but the story of their dark past and how they must continue to hide.... He did not know what his friends would say about this. But his offer was also too good to refuse.

"You can ask one of your friends if you're still not sure" said the man again as if reading his mind. "This must you and your flock decide now because there is no time left."

Emily sighed softly and then immediately opened her phone. There's no harm. "I didn't expect that you could be this fancy" he said flatly, pressing Chloe's number. "I thought blood-drinking monsters embraced the irit of speech."

Will smiles. "I also did not expect that the moon-worshipping monsters were very obedient."

Emily simply rolled her eyeballs, deciding to ignore the reply from her innuendo while waiting for Chloe to answer her call.

"Hello?" hello Chloe picked up the call. "What's up, Em?"

"Hi, Clo. There's someone who wants to talk to you" Emily quickly handed her phone to Will.

"Hello, it's Will" the boy replied sounding relaxed. "Can we talk?"

There was a pause for a while before Will returned his phone to his hand. "She disconnected, mumgkin was too shocked to hear my voice."

The feather immediately stood up. Emily wouldn't lie if for a while she had felt the cold sting her, which most likely came from Will.

The guy sighed. "Well, you better talk about it tonight. Before midnight I'll hear your final decision."

"See you."

"Yes." Yeah." The man smiled and walked away from her.

~°~°~°~

I suddenly woke up from my sleep. My eyes looked dark even though I had opened my eyes. I held up one of my hands and rubbed it in my eyes repeatedly, hoping that it was just the result of something that might have blocked my eye, but nothing was different.

My hand moved to feel my bed, looking for something that might help me from my vision that suddenly disappeared. I could feel a layer of blankets covering my body and a small table beside the bed. I grabbed him and held on to the table as much as I could to stand, but failed.

My breath choked and my tongue twisted as it hit the cold floor of the hospital, feeling the oxygen I was breathing forcefully along with my body which was laced with a very intense heat.

The various sensations that attacked my body left me confused. In between consciously and unconsciously I screamed, feeling the heat in my body like it was forcibly moving my skeleton and bones, breaking them and reshaping them.

Be ill. Be ill.... GET SICK. SO ILL.

"Allison?"

Emily.

I could only voice that name in my head, my breath still stuck and stuck in my throat. Unable to make a sound and continue to feel the cracks of the bones in my body.

This time I could see a faint shadow coming towards me and revealing the face of Emily who looked very worried.

He touched his hands to several parts of my body and called out a name I could not hear clearly. The fracture was too heavy for me to hold again.

"Allison, do you hear me?" Another voice suddenly sounded very clearly next to me. "If you can hear, please squeeze my hand." Amongst the pain I could feel a hand slipping over my hand and grasping it.

I squeezed it with all my might. Too slow, my hand feels like it's not mine.

"Good," the voice spoke again. Can he feel such a small movement? "Now, listen to my words as best you can."

I went back to squeezing. This time I could feel her hand clasping my hand tighter in return.

"Focus all your attention on my hands, ignore the pain in your body. Do it slowly, no need to rush."

I comply. As much as possible I ignored the pain, getting rid of it so that I didn't feel that the fracture was interfering with my concentration. It took me a long time before I finally succeeded, now I can feel my hand better.

"Grash my hand if it works."

I pressed his hand harder.

"Now let go" he said again, loosening his grip on my hand. "Let yourself feel that pain again."

I gasped, intending to protest at him, but couldn't bear it. Those bone cracks came back against me when his hand slipped completely out of my grasp. I screamed back, too sick. Too painful–I can't bear it.

I don't know how long the process has been going on, I can only feel the bones moving inside my body violently and then suddenly the pain stops.

Disappeared.

I opened my eyes and immediately caught the two figures standing before me. I'm back in bed. Emily immediately hugged me while that one figure remained in her place.

"You did it" said the man smiling. "Congratulations, Allison."

Emily also smiled, wide with sparkling eyes as she let go of her embrace. "Welcome, Ally."

I forced myself to get up and look at my body which felt fine as if nothing had happened before. I looked at them in turn, confused and confused. Why did they give me congratulations? I have absolutely no idea what happened before.

"What happened to me?" ask them with demanding views, expecting answers. "Is this because I was bitten by Whitney?"

Emily's smile vanished and was replaced with a surprised look. "You remember?"

"Yes, I remember it" I replied. "You're lying, Em."

"Emily must do it for your own good" said the man I didn't know his name. "We didn't think you could remember."

I shook my head. "I can remember, I woke up that day. I saw you guys taking me somewhere - somewhere, smashing something around my neck and I vaguely saw a lot of other people swarming around me" I explained. "That's true, isn't it?"

Emily and the man nodded, saying nothing.

"What did you guys do to me back then?" ask again. "I don't understand at all."

"We did that to stop the poison that ran through your veins when Whitney bit you, intending to stop anything bad that could have happened" she said. "But we don't know that the poison has spread and hastened your change."

"What's my change?" my question almost exclaimed, all this made me very confused and they aggravated it by explaining all this in a long-winded manner.

"Being like us werewolves" the boy replied, touching my hand. "We know it's too soon, but we have to tell you that from now on you will be the leader of our group. We need you to lead our herd from now on, Allison. As an alpha."

I jerked my hand away from the guy's touch. "You're kidding me" I said flatly. "There are no vampires and werewolves in this world, all of which are only in novels."

"Allie...."

I shook my head and closed both ears. "Don't say anything, I won't hear it, please get out of here."

They fell silent and exchanged looks.

I closed my eyes.

When they opened their eyes, they were no longer there.
