A Werewolf Girl's

A Werewolf Girl's
2.2

Emily swept her gaze over the road in front of her, looking to the right and left to look for signs of vehicles that should have passed earlier. From an hour ago he continued to stand near the dividing board without doing anything meaningful other than leaning back and forming a pattern on the ground with the tip of his shoe, I wish there was a vehicle for him to ride into the city.

There aren't.

The girl sighed softly and grabbed her suitcase. Once again look around to confirm the markings of any vehicle then start walking over the border board.

Both of his feet stepped slowly with hands that were gnawing at the suitcase. Here the sun seemed well hidden among the grayish-white clouds, a little bit of light blue sky as Emily looked up. His feet continued to step, step and continue to step until a horn stopped him.

"Need a ride?"

Emily looked up and saw a fifty-something man staring back at her from the open window of the truck.

"You're going in, right?" ask the man again. "Let's come along."

The girl immediately nodded and groped her suitcase closer to the truck, lifted her suitcase inside and sat down next to it. The middle-aged man immediately ran his truck.

"So, are you a newcomer or just visiting here?"

"Newcomer" replied Emily, smiling. "Emily, greetings."

The man returned his smile. "I'm Mike, greetings too," he said. "Where are you going to live?"

"On Maple road block A3 no. 28, rental house."

"Ah," the man clicked and glanced at him. "Mrs. Rowan?"

Emily nodded after opening the note on her phone, things related to the information about renting a house she had entered in full there, phone number and the name of another agent if the first rental house was occupied.

"Mike know?"

The man nodded. "This place is quite remote so that we, its citizens, can get to know each other easily."

"Everything?"

"Yes," said Mike still focused on the road. "If we want, we can also know whoever comes to our city."

*

Emily looked back at the minimalist house that was now in front of her. Mrs. Rowan said she would be up to 5 minutes after the girl finished calling her and wander around for a while looking at the other houses that were on average empty, somewhat astonished given that today was Sunday, and that it was a week's day, a day that is used for rest.

"There was an event at the meeting hall" Mike said as if he could read his mind. The middle-aged man always followed him and refused to leave from his side.

"What way?"

The man shrugged his shoulders indifferently. "So, I haven't been there yet."

"Md. Emily?"

Emily turned her head to the source of the voice, seeing a woman in a white chiffon shirt and white trousers walking towards her. A brown map was clamped on his arm. "Sorry late."

"Roman."

The woman in her 40s turned her head and blinked a little. "Mike?" greet Mrs. Rowan asked. "Hi."

"Can I just fill it?" asked Emily to cut off their eyes.

"Oh, of course." Mrs. Rowan turned back to him, reached into his pants pocket and finally grasped a key. "You want to look inside?"

Emily nodded and followed Mrs. Rowan entered the house. The girl looked around her rental house that was filled with things and looked neat and clean. Mrs. Rowan invited him to see the room and rooms that were there. Kitchen, living room, bed, bathroom and backyard that look well maintained.

"You just have to buy groceries, there's a supermarlet a few blocks from here" said Mrs. Rowan handed Emily some paper. "You can walk or ask for a ride if you want. I live in the area too."

Emily nodded her head in understanding and completed the signature on some of the papers. Mrs. Rowan let him keep five of them as evidence and handed them the keys.

"You've already applied for school for the new school year?"

"Not yet" Emily replied directly. "I didn't even know there was a school here."

Mrs. Rowan smiled and opened the map to hand over a brochure and another sheet of paper. "There's already information you need to know and that's," he pointed to the sheet of paper I was holding, "is a self-data form to put into school."

"No, no need, self-data is enough for early registration."

"All right." Emily smiled at her smile. "Thank you for the help Mrs. Rowan."

Mrs. Rowan smiled back. "No problem. Is there something I should explain?"

Emily shakes. "I don't think there is."

"Alright, I'll go then."

Mrs. Rowan and Emily walk to the exit and see Mike still leaning on the body of his truck while smoking a cigarette. The eyes of the man were directed at them. "It's over?"

"It."

The man nodded and switched off his cigarette and got into the truck to start the engine. Mrs. Rowan smiled at Emily before walking into the truck, waving at her before turning to the right and not being seen again.

Emily heaved a sigh of relief and then raised her head to the sky that was covered with white clouds. He could feel the tension coming from his body slowly relaxing, the breath that was mostly restrained during the conversation earlier could also be taken as he pleased.

For the first time he could chat for a long time with two vampire figures at once without any intimidation or overt show of force.

Emily ruffled her hair and stepped inside her new home. Tomorrow he will have to mentally prepare to face more vampires. He should get enough rest.

The sun's dim light snaked past the thin curtains. Emily opened her eyes and automatically woke up from her bed with a staggering step.

His hand grabbed the towel that was already hanging on the hardpoints and stepped into the bathroom. It only took an hour less until the girl managed to change clothes smoothly and comb her hair that began to lengthen.

He grabbed the phone lying on his bed and saw the one-line mark still on the screen, his signal line dying. Emily wasn't told that here poor signal. How will he contact Ally and the others later?

"Damn it."

The sound of a loud knock on her door made Emily's mind sway and directed her to open the door. The girl saw Mrs. Rowan smiled in front of him.

"Hello, Emily," she said kindly.

"Hi, Mrs. Rowan." Emily returned the woman's smile with bated breath. "What's up?"

"You need a ride to school?" tanyakanya. "I can drive you if you want, and accompany you to school registration."

"No problem?"

Mrs. Rowan nodded. "No problem."

"Okay, I'll get my bag."

Emily re-entered the house and picked up her sling bag on the sofa. He picked up his phone that was still left on the bed, put it in a bag and walked out of the house.

"By the way, I also brought my daughter," said Mrs. Rowan walked to his car. "You don't mind sitting in the back, do you?"

"It's okay" Emily replied without hesitation.

"Good."

Emily immediately walked into the back seat of the car and followed by Mrs. Rowan immediately started the engine of his car. As Mrs said. Rowan, on the left front of her looks a woman of her age who is cool playing a cellphone without looking at her.

"Amanda, didn't you say hello to Emily?"

"Who?" ask the girl without looking.

"Amanda."

The girl fell silent and turned to her, on her face was a carefree face that somehow felt fake when she introduced herself. "Hi, Emily, I'm Amanda. Nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you, too" said Emily, carving a smile on her lips.
