A Werewolf Girl's

"Hello, Uncle."

Lilian greeted her uncle calmly despite wanting to leave immediately. Zee who was next to him also did the same with the woman. After all, Greg was still the most respected senior member in the herd and was the family of their alpha. Both of them certainly can not be careless to the man.

Greg seemed to smile and looked at the two in turn. "Where have you been? I thought you guys would be in the practice room right now, with the younger kids."

"We were just at the restaurant, Uncle, but Zee was sick so I drove him here."

His uncle understood. "You really intend to help me until that is so yes .. when you can keep practicing as usual and give the internal affairs of the herd to me."

Zee gulped his saliva nervously and slightly glanced at Lilian. The expression on the woman's face did not look very good, but she immediately hid it as if nothing had happened. Stefan's younger brother was always able to change what he really felt so that he could deceive everyone, therefore no one dared to vary with him other than because of his social status in the herd, but only this time Zee can see the example for real. He wants to leave immediately.

"Of course we have to help if the herd is in trouble, there's no way a young member like us would stay on our hands and do nothing right?" Lilian replied to her uncle.

If this was the usual situation, Lilian would definitely let the conversation pass by and change the lighter topic in order to leave immediately, but the woman felt that it was time to look a little rebellious openly.

"Well, that's not wrong. I'm so grateful that you guys worked so hard for our situation that it's actually okay" Greg said, smiling at a glance. "You're just making it a troublesome and unnecessary responsibility."

Lilian clenched her hand before releasing it back. "Why did my uncle say that? Me and the others didn't plan a restaurant with the intention of messing around."

The uncle and nephew looked at each other. Both of them had the same calm expression in different looks and ages, but it was increasingly showing their resemblance as a family. If Stefan were with them too, the resemblance would be more and more obvious, but.

Zee immediately took over the conversation. As the two men looked at each other, several senior members were seen watching them without doing anything. The woman had to keep Lilian away from her uncle. "Uncle, sorry, I'm going back home now with Lily, is that okay? He was actually also exhausted from overwork."

Lilian who is the main executor in the running of the restaurant is right. The other members who were more senior than them were already busy with their respective jobs, so that most of the responsibility is delegated to the woman so that she does not even have time to sleep if there is still something to do about the restaurant.

Although there were some members who also helped Lilian, including Zee, but the final results were always resolved by the woman before being handed over to more senior members, such as Iris.

Greg stared at Zee for a moment before returning to Lilian who was not speaking. "Go, you must definitely rest for tomorrow. Don't let your efforts go awry because the staff can't take care of her health."

Zee grabbed Lilian's arm and said goodbye to Greg. They entered his house not too far from the entrance and were greeted by a familiar room smeller.

"Sit down, I'll prepare a drink."

Lilian did not reply, but led to the sofa to sit down and clenched her hands back. He was extremely dislikeful of his uncle's nature which remained arrogant behind his calm nature. The man still behaves like the alpha of their herd despite being defeated by his brother.

The woman voiced her thoughts consciously. "My brother should have just finished him off."

"Lilly!"

After receiving Stefan's generosity, his uncle should have been more self-aware because he had been legitimately defeated, but he still did the same deed as before.

"I .. I can't stand her attitude, Zee. You know what he's done to members of our herd, right?"

Zee breathed heavily. "I know."

If his father was still alive, that uncle would definitely receive a much heavier punishment and would not be in this world anymore.

Greg allowed humans who were too full of curiosity to take blood samples of the children in their herd, research it to look at the genes of change and the potential of the physical abilities they will likely have after the change later and receive a fee instead.

Lilian had no idea who the men were, but her uncle had already sold the most precious and sacred thing to all werewolves, even without the voluntary consent of the parties involved. The man and his supporters encouraged mothers to give their own blood samples without explanation. In the end, the children who knew nothing were the victims of Greg's greed which seemed like it would not end so easily.

"If we had known of the existence of those humans, it might have been possible to make a new deal that didn't involve children."

Lilian shook. "She would definitely not let her source of income be known so easily. We also have no better offer than what he has done until now."

If only they had it now, it would definitely not be this difficult to stop his uncle's actions. Stefan was already struggling to maintain his position as an alpha so he couldn't expect much with his brother for now either.

All they can do now is find other sources of income that can cover the needs of their herd, without the slightest use of funds provided by his uncle.

"Can Grace and Chloe help us? We've been like this despite having more members."

Lilian nodded, her gaze looking confident in the answer she gave. "They can help us later, but before, my brother should be able to win Grace's heart."

"Why should it be like that?"

Zee seemed clueless about Lilian's sudden remark as it related to Stefan and one of the other members of the herd who always looked indifferent, but did a good job at the restaurant. The woman also admitted that Grace's cuisine was close to the delicacy of Sean's cuisine which became their mainstay chef.

He suddenly realized something as he was trying to find a connection between the two people. "They ... mate?"

"Bingo!"

Zee is now shocked that her original guess is correct, while Lilian is increasingly determined to make her sister's relationship with Grace improve.

He will make his uncle confess his deeds and leave their flock.
