100 Days of Being a Widow

100 Days of Being a Widow
The 16 Souls That Return

POV Father Rania

Rania slid into my arms. "Dad Malik. I stroked Rania. Rania sat back on the bed, while I sat on the sofa beside the bed.

There were mixed feelings in Malik's father's heart. Rania is not as she knew before.

Little Rania is a spoiled and coquettish child. Since childhood, he had aspired to become a teacher. When in front of the mirror, Rania preen and talk to herself, her behavior is very flirtatious and adorable.

Almost every day when her father comes home from the office, Rania will take her father and mother to play together. Rania will play the role of teacher, while her father and mother are asked to be her students.

Rania is six years old. When he first sat in kindergarten school, every time he went home from school, he would play with his friends.Yes, the same game, teachers and students. Rania who became a teacher, will teach her peers about the lessons she got from teachers at school. Rania grows up to be an academically accomplished little girl.

Teen Rania grows into an ambitious girl. He is very energetic to participate in many activities at his school. The Biology Club, English Club and Theatre.

Rania teen is very independent. His attitude nurtured his younger siblings, never complaining

Rania High School became an accomplished student. Her favorite lesson is biology. That is because he graduated from High School, he chose to continue his studies at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, at a Campus in Jakarta. He obtained a PMDK pathway scholarship or achievement track. In fact, in order to relieve parents, he chose to work part time on a tutoring study, until finally he and his two friends were able to establish their own tutoring institution.

But today, I saw Rania become a different figure. He's so fragile. Sharp eyes that used to be characteristic, disappear. Since getting to know Dani in college, Rania has indeed changed a lot. I'm no longer the place of her heart. Since getting married, Rania is also good at hiding her life problems. He never came home, even though almost every day he complained to me was longing.

Two days ago I received word from Jean, who claimed to be Rania's best friend. Jean says that Rania is currently in the Hospital. I want to talk to Rania. But can't. The condition does not allow for chatting via cell phone. Is that how painful it is?.

Apparently yes. Even I heard Rania was in the ward of a Mental Hospital. My heart hurts so much to hear it. I decided to fly to Jakarta. See what really happened to my proud daughter.

My trip to Jakarta took two hours more by plane. I'm not young anymore. I'm sixty-five this year. I hope this trip was a fun one. Like parents in general. Nengok grandson.

But, the good truth is not on my side. I went into complex areas such as shops and factories. The car that picked you up still continues to drive up the back road of the shopping area. There's a row of pavilions there. The car stopped at one of the largest pavilions of its kind. White fence paint and rows of orange and yellow daisies decorate. Before long, I entered the pavilion.

I say hello with a soft word. In a room there was a woman lying down. His eyes were staring out the window. Looking at the row of daisies.it seems like this pavilion is decorated with various kinds of daisies on every corner of the yard.

I think I recognized the woman lying down. And it's true.

"Rania, my son" I cried

My eldest son then ran into my arms. Her tears were flowing down her face. But, as I felt not only tears of longing, but also tears of longing.

We sat facing. Rania was sitting on her bed, while I was on the sofa beside the bed. Jean welcomed me very kindly. In addition to picking me up at the airport, he also prepared a special room for me. He acted as if he was my son-in-law. But, very polite.yes like my son only.

Talk to Rania

"What's wrong with you, Rania...?"

"Rania's downstairs didn't open her voice"

"I'm old, son. The journey of Banda Aceh-Jakarta is not easy for people like me. If my presence is here just to see you quiet in pain, then you're welcome to my death, Rania".

My eyes glazed. An hour has passed. But Rania remained silent, silent. In his heart I was sure that I was rumbling, wanting to say something. But I also understand, it is not easy to express it.

"Dad. Failed in many things. Especially the wedding" said Rania bowed.

"My husband cheated on me, I was divorced, and my children were forcibly taken away by Dani. I haven't even met them in more than three months. Since the trial"

Rania's voice was shaking. Tears began to flow in the corner of the netra. I don't seem to recognize Rania. Ever since I was a child, I have rarely seen this child cry.

"Now, I'm becoming an outcast human being. I became a despicable human being because I failed at many things. I don't deserve to live well!"

Hearing Rania express her feelings. I held it tight. I didn't expect his internal wound to be that deep.

"Rania, you are my strong son. Your birth is the fruit of my and your mother's waiting after a five-year marriage. You are the result of our do'a day and night, so that we are not separated by your grandmother and grandfather because of barrenness. Your birth brings blessings of happiness to us!"

I could not help but cry and wound in my heart.

"Rania, son. Even though you were once the only child. I'm not taught you spoiled. I teach discipline, the meaning of sharing, and hard work, so that you are ready to live this mortal life. We know we can't always take care of you. So, that's how we educate and prepare you to be more independent!"

I'm starting to snitch. My chest's tight.

I forgot to teach Rania about housekeeping lessons before she got married. I forgot that our home life was different from our previous life. When I teach. Hopefully it's not too late. I pushed Rania's body from the embrace. I held her weak shoulder, weaker than the baby who had just been able to sit. I looked into her beautiful eyes.

"Rania, son. How very sorry you and my mother. Did you forget that Rania?, did you forget our sacrifices?!"

Rania was just crying. None of them put out words.

However, a moment later, he shook his head, saying

"I remember all the sacrifices of father and mother" he said weakly.

"Then, why are you doing this???"

"Why do you want to end your life only for a man you've only known for a few years, then dump you, Rania?"

"While I am the man who has always made you fulfilled since you were in your mother's womb!, I always try to spend time among my tiredness to teach you, and remove my drowsiness to sit prostrate to God for your success in life and the Hereafter"

I said with a loud tone. The pain in my heart was expressed. My jealousy towards Dani is so easy to get a place in Rania's heart, that Rania easily willingly dies for a man she's only known for a few years.

Suddenly I saw Rania stop crying. I took my hand to wipe her tears. Eyes rounded. A smile suddenly rose on his lips.

And I see, there is a soul coming back into his body. This is my Rania, my son Rania, before he got married. My rania is back...!!!!

...Hi my loyal readers......

...on the writing in this chapter the author really needs the strength to write it...

...emotion in this chapter is expressed from the point of view of a father....

...reminds a big point. Why many women who sacrifice themselves for a man who is only known for a few years only.so called husband.while the struggle of a father is longer and certainly greater than our husband. Note that must be taken by the reader in THIS CHAPTER..see you in the next Chapter which is certainly more exciting!!!!!...
