Darkened. All dark. Without light, only pitch-black was visible. The bright morning turned dark for a moment. No fresh air is inhaled. There is no beach breeze that blows the soul. There is only a vacuum that floats looking for a way home.
Alila was still half-conscious as her body was cut up and put in an ambulance. The boisterous sounds of the helpers and the loud sounds of the sirens were still faintly heard by his sense of hearing.
"To-please.suami..sa-me.... Dim... Dim-mass....."
After saying a broken sentence, Alila drooped weakly unconscious. No serious injuries were seen on his outer body. Just minor scratches and bruises on some parts of his body. The rest is just a sense of shock and trauma that might weaken his psychic condition.
Dimas really protects his wife well. With the speed of his mind that could still work in times of emergency, he acted appropriately by immersing Alila's body into the bottom of the car and covering it with his own body as a protective shield, until he is the one who was hit twice hard hit full of disaster.
Don't ask me again how Dimas is. Surely the man was very badly injured. It was possible that he was critical when viewed from the outer appearance of his body that was full of blood and gaping wounds.
Two ambulances drove quickly to divide the streets that are still quite empty. The sound of sirens roaring unpretentious increasingly suffocating the atmosphere of the morning that began to grow scorching.
Among the crowded accident scene, it turns out there are still many good-hearted people who are willing to help sincerely. It is evident by the collection of valuables belonging to Dimas and Alila without anyone missing a single one. The whole thing is still intact until it is handed over to the police.
Even Dimas favorite fruit pudding that was deliberately brought and by Alila was still intact and clean even though it was thrown down to the bottom of the car. But now, who would enjoy it? Not Dimas, not Alila.
Nearly an hour later, both ambulances stopped at the door of the nearest hospital emergency department, which happened to be quite well-known and well-equipped.
A number of health workers in charge of acting quickly and swiftly to remove the bodies of Dimas and Alila and move them to the top of the treatment gurney and immediately push him into the room to do the best handling.
A local police car was parked not far from the IGD. Three policemen came down and walked towards the waiting room. Two of them stood guard at the handling door, and one was busy contacting the family of the young couple to report the accident that befell Dimas and Alila.
The next half hour, Alano, Papa Dewa and Mama Dian had already arrived at the hospital with tense and anxious faces. While Papa Yudhi and Mama Kirana accompanied by Darma were already on their way from out of town to the hospital where their son and daughter-in-law were being treated.
"Pa.., Alila Pa...! How's it going...?"
Mama Dian had already shed tears from the moment she arrived. Papa Dewa calmed him down by continuing to hug his wife and give a gentle swab, although he himself was also very worried about the condition of Alila and her husband.
Alano continued to hold her phone and contacted Tama and Sandy whom she already knew very well. This weekend, Sandy was home and at home. Alano anticipated unexpected things that might happen, which could require a lot of help from others, whatever it was later.
The speed of information in the virtual world today is unquestionable. For news uploads following photos and videos of several people at the scene, the news of the accident that hit Dimas and Alila quickly spread on various social media and known by many audiences, he said, especially in their city.
Without being prevented, in a short time, some people closest to Dimas and Alila had docked to the hospital. Sandy and Nayla, Tama and Dara Nadia, some of Alila and Dimas' co-workers, as well as Mr. Albi, all gathered together with a look of sadness and disbelief.
"How's it going, Lan? Why is it so bad?"
Tama's face looked serious, trying to find information from Alila's sister. He hopes that little or much information he gets, he can use it to mobilize some of his papa's confidants to help investigate the events that befell his two best friends.
Alano nodded slowly. His mind was still quite upset because of all this.
"I haven't asked the police yet. Try Mas Tama to go straight to the police guard there."
Alano's direction of view stared straight at the front door of the handling room. Tama understood and patted Alano's shoulder slowly.
"All will be well. Keep praying for them!"
Tama left Alano and walked quickly to three policemen who were talking to Papa Dewa and Pak Albi. He joined in and listened to all the police explanations.
Not long after, a male doctor who was old enough to come out still wearing his great coat which contained some blood stains that were still wet.
The entire family, police and several others approached and waited for what the doctor would say. Mama Dian remained sitting sobbing in her place accompanied by Nayla and Nadia.
The tense and sweaty face of the doctor, can already describe the difficulty of their task in the room there.
"The female patient did not suffer any serious injuries. Just a few bruises and scratches on his outer skin alone. But for his male patients......" The doctor sighed as quietly as possible to convey the continuation of his sentence.
"Say, Doc! What's with my daughter-in-law??" Papa Dewa began to panic at the doctor.
"Please calm down, I'll explain one by one, because in there, our team of doctors is still working hard."
"The male patient has a fracture in the middle of the right femur which we must immediately perform surgery. In addition, there are some torn wounds on the right leg, but the most severe and bleed is a large torn wound on the right waist."
All were shocked and could imagine the harshness of the impact that hit Dimas' body so many severe injuries he could get.
"We need additional blood for the patient to take further action. Please immediately prepare the blood and also sign a letter of approval for the implementation of the operation action as soon as possible. Thank you." Thank you."
The doctor asked two nurses to help take care of the required administrative procedures and prepare additional blood for the patient. After that, the doctor went back into the room.
Papa Dewa representing the family followed a nurse to take care of the letter of approval of surgery and other necessary surgical actions.
"Hospital blood supply and PMI are empty. We need a blood donation immediately. The patient's blood type is AB." The nurse who was still standing in front of the handling room spoke.
The entire Alila family was confused because their blood types were not the same, while the Dimas family was still on the way and would not arrive in a fast time.
"I'll donate my blood, sister. My blood type is AB." Suddenly Mr. Albi came forward to approach the nurse.
"Me too, sister. Take my blood. My blood type is also AB."
Someone who had just come and heard Mr. Albi's words immediately came forward and stood beside Dimas's superior. He is Aris, the owner of ArSen Cafe and Alila's schoolmate.
A few days earlier Alila had come back to her cafe and introduced Dimas as her husband. Broken heart? Yes, Aris felt heartbroken for the second time, after she had been rejected by Alila, during school first.
But the spirit of humanity and empathy make him heartened and still provide his help in this crucial time.
Without wasting any time, the nurse immediately guided Mr. Albi and Aris towards the blood draw room. Dimas has been moved to the operating room.
