Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
12 MISSED EACH OTHER

Two weeks passed. Alila was getting used to activities without Dimas being with her. Even so, it doesn't mean he forgot Dimas. Precisely every do anything, only the face of Dimas and the moment of togetherness they continue to be imagined.

Like this afternoon, when he was accompanied by Alano the younger brother enjoyed lunch at the foodcourt mall that he often went with Dimas.

Alila sipped her drink while circulating her gaze around. Foodcourt that afternoon was quite crowded visitors. Some are alone, crowded, one family and not a few are both paired.

Alila's gaze stopped at her favorite ice cream shop. He accidentally sees the empty table he and Dimas once occupied when buying ice cream there.

A smile rose on Alila's lips as she recalled the moment. When they meet and look at each other in silence. Also when Dimas graciously cleans the ice cream on his lips with a piece of tissue. Alila covered her face which was instantly warm.

"Mom, what's wrong with you? Kebelt?"

Alano noticed the change in her brother's face.

"Huhah..? Ooh.., it's okay. The hunt's finished your food!"

Alila tries to distract Alano though it won't work.

"Mbak Al himself has not touched the spoon at all, why am I being told to hurry..?!"

Alila hurriedly held onto her spoon then started to swallow her food. Alano shook her head at her brother's behavior.

"Mbak why the hell? The same with Dimas? Remember the same Dimas?"

Highlight Alano's eyes stared intently at Alila who immediately choked on hearing her sister's question.

"Drink first, ma'am. Slow down, I won't ask for it."

Without any guilt at all, Alano continues to tease Alila.

"Shut up, Lan. Every time you talk, it's always messing me up..!"

Alano continued eating while watching her brother.

Alila had already managed to clear her throat. But he even remembered the incident on the night of the college farewell first. She also chokes in shock as Dimas embraces her shoulders as they eat together.

Again Alila smiled to herself remembering all the memories of Dimas that kept on overshadowing her.

"Mom, tomorrow to the hospital."

Alano had finished his meal and looked back at the older brother who was still enjoying his meal.

"Who is sick? You?"

"Mbak Al tuh is sick. I'd like to take it to the pskiater or the mental doctor. I think now the brain is a bit sliding. I'm afraid that it might get more acute."

Alila stretched her hand forward and hit Alano's head quite hard.

"Auwf..! It hurts..!!"

Alano grimaced holding her head that was hit by a surprise attack from her brother.

"You're gonna swear I'm going crazy?"

"Hehee.., mbak Al is funny and weird if you're upset again."

Alila was silent no longer responding to her sister. Because if it is done it will become more so. He tried to eat his food quietly.

(Jiang, Dim. Have you eaten? I keep my word, always eat on time, Dim. I don't want you to be angry because I don't obey you. Dim, I missed you!)

While far away at the other end of town, Dimas was also resting and enjoying his lunch.

He sat down at a table with his teammates at the training ground. There were seven people, five men and two women, who came from different branch offices. Together with them there is also a team leader who is the preferred senior employee of several branch offices.

As usual, Dimas ate quietly while his other friends were joking with familiarity and full of laughter. Occasionally he only showed a little smile in response to some jokes from his friend.

That's Dimas. In his social environment he is not easily familiar with others even impressed to keep his distance, except with certain people. He would rather be serious and focused on his work than spend time on unnecessary things for him.

"Dimas, if you may know if you're married?" Ask Mr. Albi their team leader.

Not only to Dimas, Mr. Albi had also asked the same thing to other team members.

"Wife-to-be, sir."

Dimas answered steadily.

"Owh, it turns out to be married. It's appropriate that your attitude is very self-limiting with the opposite sex."

Mr. Albi is a senior employee from the same branch office as Dimas. He was five years older than Dimas. She is married and has one toddler.

"Don't forget to invite me to your wedding. It just so happens that we're one city and one branch office as well."

"Yes, Sir. I'll remember." Answer Short Dimas.

Soon enough Dimas stood up to grab a drink not far from their table. Take a glass of lemon tea ice that is already available.

(Bever a drink reminds me of you, Al. Are you too?)

Dimas took a long breath. Suddenly his chest was so tight. There was a sense of longing in his heart. The more the day feels but still can not meet.

(I miss you so much but we can't meet you, Al.)

Dimas immediately finished his drink. He walked towards the musholla. That's where it's best to shed all his yearning.

Kneel down and pray. Seeking peace of mind so that the fragile heart can rediscover its strength.

(Getting you is my best way to hug you from afar, Al.)

Dimas out of there with more face

quieter. While sitting on the stairs and wearing shoes, Mr. Albi came from inside and sat beside him.

"Every break comes, even if it's not prayer time, you always spend your time here, Dimas. Has anyone disturbed your mind while here?"

Dimas shook his head slowly.

"There's nothing, sir."

Mr. Albi smiled as he continued to wear his socks.

"You missing him?" Guess with certainty.

Dimas was silent. He did not want to share his personal problems with anyone.

"I used to experience it too. And it feels really excruciating, doesn't it? Let alone three months, to pass just one day as if time were spinning very slowly."

Dimas remained silent and listened to all Mr. Albi's words to him.

"Trust me, everything will be fine. Once this is over, your feelings will get stronger with each other."

Mr. Albi patted Dimas on the shoulder and invited him back to the material room.

"Thank you, sir."

That was all Dimas said while taking his steps.

Dimas stepped up by constantly remembering all about Alila. In the past, he only considered him a friend, because all this time he himself had never seriously lived his relationship with some of the women of his past.

But ever since the eyes of her heart opened, she could only see Alila in her mind. Alila alone that every day can make him feel happy. He could always smile when Alila was with him.

(Al, I miss wanting to tease you and look again at that pretty face that blushed shame.).
