Alila slid her body in the middle of Dimas' bed. He smiled to himself, a happy smile mixed with disbelief. He was now able to sleep in Dimas's room, something that made him very happy.
He looked at every corner of Dimas' room. Indeed Dimas no longer occupied this room because he rarely came back here. But everything about Dimas is still visible in the room that is dominated by dark blue, Dimas' favorite color.
Alila's phone read, a new message came in. He grabbed the phone he had placed next to his pillow. A smile loomed on his lips knowing who the sender was.
"I.." Dimas wrote in his message.
"Yes, Dim. You haven't slept?" Reply Alila.
"I can't sleep."
In the next room, Dimas was also lying on the bed. His hand held the lit cell phone, waiting for a reply to a message from Alila.
Same with Alila, she also smiled to herself imagining Alila who was inside her room. The woman he loved so much, tonight slept in his room.
"Try closing your eyes. You should sleep. You must have been so tired all day, Dim. I don't want my future husband to be sick."
The reply from Alila went into her phone, making Dimas even more widening his smile. He got up and sat on the bed.
"If I'm sick, you're my medicine."
Dimas sent the message and then got out of bed. He walked towards the door, opening it slowly. After he came out, he closed the door of his room very carefully.
He walked three steps, until he arrived at the door of his room while hoping that the door would not be locked. The man breathed a sigh of relief as he managed to open the door without making any sound at all.
Alila who was still lying on her side and hugging the reed was surprised instead of playing to see Dimas suddenly standing by the bed. He only wears boxer shorts and home shirts.
"Dim, you......"
"Ssttt.., stay there, Al."
Dimas began to lay his body beside Alila who was still staring at him with a clueless look. He shut his eyes and shut his mouth.
"I miss sleeping in this room, Al."
"Do you miss your room or the person who's occupying your room?"
Dimas's eyes opened at once upon hearing Alila's question. While Alila was no less surprised to realize her own words.
(It looks like I've been wrong, Dim.)
"Both."
Dimas turned his head to the side, looking at the face of Alila who was also looking at him with my eyes.
"Dim, you better get out of here. If your mom and dad knew, I would......."
Dimas picked up the bolster that Alila was still holding and placed it behind her lover's body.
"Let me hold you here for a second, Al."
Dimas stretched his right hand to the side, waiting for Alila's answer with an eye that was no less dear.
Alila hesitated for a moment, but her trust in Dimas made her dare to nod her head.
Slowly, he brought his body closer to Dimas's, then laid his head on the arm that was ready to be his bearing.
Dimas held Alila's body into his arms. Alila replied by wrapping her hand over Dimas' body. They were both silent with their eyes closed, both enjoying the warmth and comfort of their embrace of each other.
"Thank you, Al. I love you."
With a soft whisper Dimas near Alila's ear, followed by a soft kiss on her forehead, making Alila more and more buried her face on the chest of the lover.
"I'm back in the room first."
Dimas stood up and stepped slowly towards the door of the room. Just as her hand was about to grab the door handle, there was the sound of Alila calling out to her quietly.
"Dim..."
Dimas turned back to Alila. His wife-to-be got out of bed and walked over quickly and rushed into his arms.
Alila hugged her lover's body very tightly making Dimas return the hug more tightly. They hugged each other, braced each other's bodies, sharing the warmth and comfort as before.
Alila didn't let go of her embrace. He seemed unwilling to separate from Dimas, even though they would only be blocked by one wall of the room.
Realizing the night was getting late and they had not rested, Dimas immediately let go of his embrace. His hands turned to Alila's neck and thighs, then carried the body to the bed.
Alila reflex draped her hands to Dimas' neck with her eyes straight at the face of the man she loved.
Arriving at the edge of the bed, Dimas lowered Alila carefully right in the middle of the bed. He enveloped his body tightly and lastly left a loving kiss on his lover's forehead.
"Sleep, baby. Good night."
"Good night, Dim."
Alila replied with a flowery heart because of the affectionate call from Dimas. He continued to stare at Dimas' departure until the door closed from the outside.
Alila began to close her eyes with a feeling of happiness. Tonight he had a wonderful first night with Dimas.
The first night was under the same roof, though only temporarily. The first night is in the same room, even if only briefly. The first night is in the same bed, even if only for a moment.
Alila felt grateful to be able to get to the stage where she was well received by the Dimas family. If you recall his long waiting period of up to four years, it seems he still does not believe if his love has now been welcomed, tightly bound to the love of Dimas to him. Even now they have begun to step into the next stage, preparing marriage plans with both families.
On top of the other bed, Dimas had laid back his body and was preparing to sleep. But his eyes are still reluctant to be closed even though his body already feels very tired and weak.
"Good night, my Sleeping Princess."
Dimas said it himself while looking at the beautiful photo of Alila stored in the gallery of his phone. The photo she saw with a smile was the one she had taken secretly while Alila was sound asleep in her car, after they came home from the faculty breakup that night.
Recalling the memories of when they went to college together, Dimas recalled the time where Alila had to harbour her own feelings of love. Alila spent four years with him without knowing at all that she had loved him in silence. A very deep and sincere love.
"I'm sorry, Al. Forgive me for hurting your heart so much because I cannot understand what my heart really needs and wants you. Forgive me for making your love wait too long because I can't realize my true love is only for you."
Dimas continued to talk to himself as if the photo in his phone was a real figure Alila who was in front of him. Gradually, both of his eyes were closed leading him to a beautiful dreamland, where there was only Alila, himself and their love.
