"Alila's mother is pregnant..."
Dimas and Alila looked at each other.
"Have you been bleeding lately or had your blood come out like your period?"
Alila nodded hesitantly and looked back at Dimas guiltily. She has not told this to her husband. Dimas returned his wife's eyes in confusion.
"Not much, Doc. Only a few times there were flecks and not many. I thought I'd come by the moon because it's time.."
The doctor wrote something down on his examination sheet.
"Mom's pregnancy is outside the womb. Which should stick and develop in the uterus, but this attaches to the fallopian tubes, which are the connecting channels between the ovaries and the uterus. This is what causes you to often feel severe pain in the lower abdomen that often comes suddenly."
Alila's tears were flowing non-stop. While Dimas can already control himself and try to calm his beloved wife.
No words were spoken from his lips. Only a hand grip and a tight hug could he do to channel strength and calm to Alila.
(You have to be strong, Al. We both must be strong!)
"What about her pregnancy, Doc?"
"It is with a heavy heart that we must convey that the current pregnancy of the Mother must be ended. Because it is not in the right place and will not be able to develop. Jiks are not done immediately, it will damage the fallopian tubes where they are attached."
Again Dimas with all his heart tried to calm his wife who had just cried with a sobbing that increasingly slashed the heart.
Trials always come unexpectedly. But this test at the beginning of their marriage really felt so amazing. It is very hard for a new couple like them.
In an instant all the happiness that existed changed sadness because of the sense of loss that enveloped their hearts. When they had just found out about Alila's pregnancy, they had to be willing to give up that happy gift.
Alila did not expect, it would be like this would be the story of the beginning of her marriage with Dimas. It was only a moment when they enjoyed the beauty of life together that now they had to face a test of this magnitude.
"Can I get pregnant again, Doc?"
The only question that really disturbed Alila's mind was finally thrown at the doctor.
"With the condition of one good ovary and a healthy uterus like this, it is very possible for the mother to be able to get pregnant again. It's just that, the percentage of success will certainly not be as large as the previous condition, considering that you only have one ovary. But, back again, nothing is impossible if the One at the Top wishes it sooner."
There was relief felt from Alila's breath accompanied by the radiance of hope from both her eyes. He did not want to dissolve in sadness and despair.
His head turned to the side, looking at the face of his beloved husband. Dimas who had been incessantly watching his wife since earlier, returned Alila's eyes with a smile on his lips and the grip of the hand he was holding.
He nodded his head as if to strengthen the hope emanated in the beautiful eyes of his wife who was still puffy and swollen.
"When will the operation take place, Doc?" Alila asked after gaining strength from the grasp of her husband's hand. He did not want to delay starting the healing process.
"It will get better soon. If Mom and Dad agree, we can do it today. Because honestly, I'm afraid a cyst of this size will be able to rupture at any time if not removed immediately."
Alila looked back at her husband for approval. Dimas nodded and answered the doctor.
"Good, Doc. Please make preparations as soon as possible. We trust the Doctor completely."
Dimas expressed his agreement. And the doctor immediately made all the preparations with the nurse who accompanied him.

After Maghrib, Alila was transferred to the treatment room after undergoing postoperative observation in the recovery room.
Dimas had still accompanied her alone since they had both come this morning. As per Alila's request, Dimas had only informed his in-laws after Alila was transferred to the treatment room. He didn't want to make his parents worry about his situation.
Alila also asked her husband to hide the removal of one of her ovaries to anyone including their family. He did not want to be the talk and made his mind become unsettled.
"Is the pain starting, baby?"
Dimas kissed Alila's forehead and gently rubbed her head. For the second time he had to see his beloved woman lying weakly in the hospital. His heart ached as if hurt felt the pain felt by his wife.
"Yes, Dim. Of course it hurts because my stomach hurts like this..."
Dimas helps his wife who wants to secure the position of her head on a pillow so that she has to pull her body a little.
"But I'm relieved now, my fist has been removed and I won't feel as much pain and ache as before." Alila continued after being able to lie down more comfortably.
His right hand continued to hold onto the end of the shirt Dimas was wearing as he stared deeply at the tired looking handsome face.
Dimas who still justified Alila's blanket immediately turned his face because he felt noticed earlier.
A faint smile was displayed after shifting his body and standing closer to his wife's face which lay weak but still returned his smile.
"What's up, hmm...?" The back of his hand stroking his wife's delicate cheeks made the owner momentarily close his eyes, feeling a warm sigh in his chest that was mixed with a slight pain due to the wound on his abdomen.
Alila opened her eyes again. Her hand, which had been holding the tip of Dimas's shirt, moved slowly around her husband's back waist. Dimas who felt it let the weak hand hold him.
"Thank you for being with me always..." He said while carrying his left hand fused with his right hand so that the position of Dimas' body was confined in a circle of his wife's hands.
"Review, be careful, Al...!"
Dimas reminded because in the hand it is still attached to the infusion needle. He helped straighten the infusion hose that was attracted and twisted because of the movement of Alila who wanted to hug him.
"Don't act recklessly just because you miss wanting to hug me..!" He wore smooth smooth cheeks that began to meet the red, then his hand turned to the top of the head of the wife.
"Oh..!!" Undeterred by his words, a pinch was felt on his right waist.
"It turns out that your consciousness has fully recovered until your strength has gathered again to hurt me..."
"I didn't hurt you. I just pinched you, Dim." Resist Alila with a sullen face that had blushed perfectly.
"You're hurting me. You'll hurt my heart if you get sick again, Al..."
He looked down, resting on his left hand he brought his face closer to Alila's, then kissed her forehead again. This time for quite a while, until he closed both of his eyes.
"Please don't get sick anymore. This is the last time I see you as weak. You know.., I kind of lose half my life every time I see you sick and helpless like this..."
Dimas opened his eyes, giving a little distance between their faces to stare at each other in a haru romance. Alila looked at him with teary eyes.
"Dim... Sorry..."
Alila's hand had slipped from her husband's waist, turning back to touch Dimas' cheek with her right hand.
"Why should I apologize? I was also wrong, paying less attention to yourself and your health so I did not know every complaint you felt so far. If you apologize, then I also apologize to you for my negligence in taking care of you..."
Dimas grabbed his wife's hand which was still gently pressed against his cheek, then kissed the back of his hand and then held it to his chest. Their eyes continued to clash in the silence of the night atmosphere.
"I'm sorry, because my first pregnancy had to end like this... You must be sad and disappointed, Dim..."
"Don't think about it anymore, Al. Your pregnancy is beyond our control. No one can defy the destiny of the All-Living."
"Think about the positive side. We are still given time to enjoy being together like this before as much. Isn't that better...?"
Alila smiled faintly and nodded looking at the face of Dimas who was still before her eyes. Simultaneously, the door of the room opened slowly as it was pushed by someone from outside.
