Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
51 BEAUTIFUL LAUGHTER

The woman pushed her trolley slowly towards the exit, followed by Tama walking beside her.

Their views met and clashed in a short time. Both Tama and the woman felt a small tremor in their hearts as their eyes stared at each other unintentionally.

Arriving at the supermarket terrace, the woman pulled her trolley to the side so as not to disturb the traffic of self-service visitors. He pulled out his cell phone from his small bag.

His eyes look for the whereabouts of Tama who was putting her shopping bag into the back seat of her car.

"Sorry, mom. Can I have his account number? I'll transfer now to replace my groceries."

Tama closed her car door and returned to the supermarket followed by the woman. For a moment he looked back at the woman and made her misbehave again.

"If you may know why you are shopping for such a large amount of basic necessities?" Tama asked as she watched the grocery trolley that was nearby.

The trolley contains staple foods such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, canned milk, instant noodles and some other groceries.

"Oh, I'll take it to the orphanage near my house."

Hearing Tama use your call, makes the woman change her name to me. After all, he saw the man in front of him was the same age as him and had been kind ever since they met in the supermarket earlier.

"You donated all that?" Ask Tama again.

"Yes. Although not much, every month I always set aside my salary to buy basic food for children in the orphanage."

The sincere smile on the woman's face made Tama start to be interested in getting to know her further.

(She is beautiful and angelic. There was something different about him that made me feel something.)

"Mmm.., we haven't been acquainted. My name is Tama." Tama extended her hand towards the woman.

A warm welcome was given by the woman, who immediately received Tama's helping hand.

"I'm Dara." A smile re-emerged at the corner of her lips made Tama reply.

"Yes, what's your account number? I'll transfer it now from my phone." Dara.

For a moment Tama was silent and thought. Until Dara called him with a cellphone still clasped in his hand.

"Your name..?"

"Not to be replaced. Let's just say I donated to the parlour, too."

"But...."

"If you want to replace it, just spend the money for the needs of the home."

Dara secretly admires Tama. He steals a glance at Tama who is taking her phone out of her pants pocket. I heard a call from that phone.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Tama replied after receiving a phone call from someone who was none other than her sister Tami.

"I'll be home a little afternoon. I bought it. You just wait at home."

After a short talk, Tama hung up her phone and saved her phone back. His gaze turned on Dara who was still staring at him nonstop.

"Are you going to the orphanage now?"

Tama's question surprised Dara. The woman was embarrassed because Tama knew she was watching him.

"Oh.., yeah. I'll order a taxi online first."

Dara immediately opened an online vehicle application on her phone.

"No need to book a taxi. Can I take you to the parlor?" Tama offered herself.

Dara stopped the movement of her hand on her phone screen. Still don't believe Tama's words.

"What's? You want to go to the parlor?"

"Yes. My family also became regular donors in several orphanages. But I never went there. Now I want to go to the parlor, see firsthand the children's condition there."

Either Tama's words were honest from her heart or just an excuse to get Dara there, but her tone was calm and full of smiles on her face, makes Dara can not refuse the request of his new friend.

"All right, I can't ban you. Besides, all this shopping you've paid for." Dara answered with a nod of her head.

"Don't talk about that anymore. My price will be reduced by it." Gurau Tama who made Dara laugh.

(The laugh looks so beautiful.)

Then Tama pushed Dara's grocery trolley to the back of her car. He opened the luggage door and then entered one by one the groceries assisted by Dara who was standing next to him.

Suddenly, while picking things up from the trolley and carrying them to the trunk at the same time, their heads fell on each other under the trunk door that opened upwards.

Both moaning, both looking at each other while holding each other's eyebrows. The little tremors they felt again.

"Sorry..." Say them together while standing away from each other's faces that meet red.

After being able to control himself, Tama immediately put the remaining groceries in the trolley into the trunk of his car, then closed and locked the luggage door. He pushed the empty trolley up to the supermarket terrace and left it there, then walked to the car and took Dara who was still standing waiting for him beside the car.

They both get into the car and Tama starts driving her car in the direction indicated by Dara.

Not until half an hour drive finally they reached the orphanage yard they were headed. Dara invites Tama down and walks towards the wide-open entrance.

Tama stepped her feet while paying attention to the atmosphere around the orphanage whose building is quite spacious and beautiful with many plants in the yard.

Arriving at the entrance, the two of them were greeted by two middle-aged caretakers. Dara introduces Tama as her friend and also the person who has donated the necessities for the parlour today. The woman looked very close and familiar with the caretakers and the children there, because she often visited the place.

After a short conversation with the caretaker's mother, Dara asks Tama to open the trunk of her car followed by several small boys in their teens who will help bring down the groceries and take them into the orphanage.

Tama also brought two bags of groceries and followed the children into the home. In a large room, Tama saw Dara playing with children who were younger.

After placing the grocery bag he carried in the corner of the room, Tama stood against the wall of the room while watching Dara who was still fun to accompany a group of small children playing in the middle of the room. Both of his hands were folded over his chest, showing a relaxed demeanor and remaining calm.

Sometimes Dara smiled and rubbed the children's heads, then laughed loosely on the sidelines of simple games they did. The plain and funny behavior of children makes the woman feel at home to linger visiting the parlor in every spare time.

Tama involuntarily dissolved in the imposing sight that was before her eyes. Her lips continued to develop a smile to see Dara in the crowd of adorable little children.

(He is different. His smile and laughter looked very sincere, as well as beautiful.).

Until a while later, Dara only realized Tama's presence in the same room with her. He forgot that he did not come alone as usual, but with Tama.

Dara is seen talking to the children around her, then she stands up and steps towards Tama who is waiting for her in the corner of the room.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I forgot I came with you." Said Dara shyly.

Tama smiled to see the look on Dara's face that blushed in embarrassment.

"It's okay. I enjoy the atmosphere in this home. I'm also happy to see you with them and be able to make them laugh while playing together."

Again Dara was made wrong by Tama's speech which was accompanied by a look of admiration on him. Soon he invited Tama to the caretaker's room to say goodbye.

When they finished saying goodbye, they got into the car. Before starting the engine of his car, Tama first asked Dara's home address to drive him home. Then he drove his car out of the orphanage.

The distance between the parlour and Dara's house was quite close, only about three hundred meters. Just a few minutes away, they had arrived in front of Dara's house.

"Thank you for taking me home. Thank you for accompanying me to the home. Sorry if it's been there too long."

Tama enjoyed the smile of gratitude from Dara for her. A sweet smile that was no less interesting with a beautiful laugh that had captivated his heart from the beginning to see it earlier.

"Together, Ra. Thank you for introducing me to the home environment that turned out to be fun and very soothing."

Dara had already opened the car door and was preparing to get down, when suddenly Tama called back to him and made him turn his head towards Tama.

"Ra, can I have your phone number?"

"My number?"

Dara looked surprised that the man she had just met asked for her mobile number.

"Yes. Maybe next time we can meet again or I'll ask for your help again to accompany me to visit the parlour."

Tama had already extended the phone in her hand to Dara who immediately received it. He wrote down a line of numbers on Tama's phone screen and then pressed the call button in the lower right corner, until shortly thereafter the tone of the call on his own phone.

Dara turns off the call from Tama's phone and hands it back to Tama.

"Thank you, Ra. It's good to meet you."

"Tama-sama, Tama. Thank you for being my friend."

Dara got down from Tama's car and let go of Tama who started driving the car slowly leaving her home.

In her car, Tama sees Dara from the rearview mirror. The woman was still standing in front of the fence of her house and kept staring at Tama's car. And as the car got further away, he went into his house.

Tama smiled looking at the rearview mirror of her car. The woman was no longer visible. But her reflection still felt real in Tama's mind, especially her sweet smile and beautiful laughter.
