Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
2.6. INTERNS - PART 2

During the day, as usual Dimas invited Alila to lunch together. He waited in the lobby patiently because Alila had already sent a message that it would be down late because there was still an examination of the job report that was immediately visited in his room.

Fifteen minutes later, Alila and a few of her roommates came out of the elevator and split up.

Some just go to the cafeteria, some come to the lobby to take their online food orders, some will come out like him.

Alila approached Dimas who immediately stood up and grabbed his wife's hand to hold. The two of them walked to the parking lot and entered Dimas' car.

"We're going to the closest cafe, baby. In order to save time," Dimas said as he drove his car towards the highway.

"Yes, Dim."

Alila leaned her head back while closing her eyes for a moment, driving away the tired who whack because she continued to concentrate on many new data in her work report earlier.

Dimas reached out his left hand, rubbing the top of his beloved woman's head.

"It's tired, huh?" her question then, which only Alila answered with a smile without opening her eyes.

"Just a little dizzy from too long dealing with the screen work without a break rest."

It seems he did not have the heart to invite his wife to eat in the crowd in the condition of Alila who had just been wracked by the busy work at the office.

Just as the car stopped at a red light, Dimas picked up his phone and contacted someone.

"Hello, Dea. Where are you now?"

Alila opened her eyes quickly as soon as she heard her husband mention the name of the centile apprentice.

After listening to Dea's reply, Dimas spoke again in a command tone.

"Message me two take away menus of any kind, also the drink. I'll wait in front. Ten more minutes I'll be there."

Dimas hung up the phone along with the green light. He drove his car in the direction delivered by Dea earlier.

"Why should you call that intern anyway, Dim?"

Tired in Alila's eyes disappeared instantly and changed the resentment in her heart. It had been a week but the woman still felt uneasy whenever she heard her husband communicating with Dea outside of their working hours.

"I don't want you getting tired if we eat on the spot and have to wait a long time."

"We'd better eat in the car, while resting."

Dimas is anxious to see Alila who is upset because Dea's attitude is considered too pretentious and spoiled to her husband.

They had arrived in front of the cafe mentioned by Dea. Without needing to turn off the car engine, Dimas had already seen Dea walking towards them with two bags of food and drink.

A naturally beautiful girl who looked agile and cheerful, with a neat and simple appearance, was already standing beside the left car door. Not at all as gentile as Alila's mind, it just does look spoiled and friendly with others.

He wiggled his body left and right, waiting for the windshield to be opened by his apprentice mentor.

"Look, honey. He's still innocent and funny. How could he have thought something strange about me."

Dimas kissed his wife's cheek before pressing a button to open the window glass next to Alila.

"Hi, Mas! Why not just eat it inside?" ask the girl while handing over the Dimas order that was received by Alila.

"Hi, Ma'am," said Dea with a sweet smile. Alila replied to him with the same smile, while holding back the food and drink she had just received.

"My wife is exhausted. It's a pity to be in a place that's too crowded" Dimas replied.

"Mas, his wife is beautiful. Every day I want to have lunch together. Afraid of being approached by other guys, huh?" tease Dea innocently.

Dimas did not respond, only smiling just like Alila. He took out two thousand pieces of money and handed them to Dea who instantly widened his eyes.

"Take the excess, to pay for your food and your friends in there."

The girl's eyes immediately sparkled happily. His body was back in delight.

"Thank you, Mum. Dimas is my best mentor. I'll go in first, yeah. Bye, Mas Dimas. Oh, my beautiful mother!"

Dea immediately turned around and walked while shaking her head, like she was singing.

Dimas closed the window, then looked at his wife's face from a close distance, right in front of him.

Alila smiled to suppress her embarrassment, because it turned out that this one week woman made her fret is a girl who is still innocent and spoiled.

"Sorry, Dim."

Dimas smiled and briefly kissed his wife's lips, before driving forward to find a more comfortable place to stop and enjoy their lunch in the car.

One week later, while delivering Alila to his office, Dimas is like seeing someone he knows, but he forgets who and where he knows her.

Wanted to ask Alila but she didn't seem to see him because the man had already entered the elevator.

"What's up, Dim?" Seeing her husband keep looking at the elevator, Alila asked.

"I kind of saw someone, but I forgot who he was" Dimas said.

"Your ex-lover?" god Alila made Dimas stare intently at her.

"Which one? My ex-boyfriend is a lot" replied the man.

Dimas smiled wryly considering his former behavior, which always served the girls who approached him without ever being able to open his heart to them, except only for Alila in the end.

"Lupaksn just said that. Maybe I just mislooked."

Alila kissed the hand of Dimas who was affectionately replying to his wife with a warm kiss on Alila's forehead.

"I'll go to the office first, baby. I love you!"

"Be careful, Dim. I love you, too ...."

Alila remained standing in the middle of the lobby, letting go of her husband. Until Dimas's figure was out of sight, he turned around and walked towards the elevator.

In front of the elevator door, Alila waited with several other employees. There was no elevator door open yet, suddenly the sound of someone calling his name.

"Abil ...!"

Alila turned to the direction where the voice came from, namely from the front door of the company's special elevator leader. A man who had just stepped out of the elevator, stood up and continued to stare at him.

Alila continued to sharpen her gaze because the distance between them was not too close. The man walked up to her and greeted her again.

"How are you, Alila? Don't forget about me, do you?" asked the man with a sweet smile on his lips.

Alila retreated away from the elevator door so as not to disturb the others. He had not answered his greeting for her, as he still did not remember who the man who was now standing before him was.

A while later, he began to recognize her but was still unsure, due to her changed appearance, unlike before.

"Mas Pandu ...?"
