Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
08 MUST BE SEPARATED

Two days later, Dimas took Alila to a beach at the end of the city. They set out in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset sky as the sun began to sink back into the contest.

Along the way, Dimas seemed more silent with an unsettled face.

"Dim..."

"Yes?"

Dimas was still focused on staring at the highway in front of him.

"Is there something you're thinking about?"

"You're all I'm thinking about right now, Al."

(Somehow I'll say it later, Al.)

"really? Looks like there's something you're hiding from me, Dim.."

Alila still continued to stare at Dimas fixedly.

Dimas remained silent. He just wants to get to his destination immediately and enjoy his company with Alila.

An hour later they finally arrived at the location. Blowing sea breeze immediately felt as they set foot on the beach sand.

This beach is still relatively new and pure, has not been touched by tourist investors at all. There are not many visitors, except on weekends.

As at this time, only a few people seemed to play on the beach, some were sitting on the beach whose position was slightly elevated.

"Al, you want to go to the water?"

Alila shook her head.

"Here you go, Dim. The wind is cold."

Dimas looked towards Alila who was standing beside him with eyes staring deep into the ocean in front of them. The wind that was quite strong that afternoon made Alila's hair decompose randomly everywhere due to the sweep of the wind.

Dimas's outstretched hand grabbed Alila's face and tidied up the hairs that covered the pretty face. Alila's gaze immediately moved to look at Dimas's face. Eyes meet eyes.

His heart pounded hard and fast as his hand felt the touch of Dimas' hand down there. A warm feeling flowed throughout his body, especially inside his chest. Dimas clasped his hand.

"You happy, Al?"

"Very happy. Thank you for bringing me here, Dim."

(Other than just the two of you like this.).

Dimas smiled. He rarely smiled all this time. But ever since her heart began to be lured to Alila, that smile increasingly seemed to adorn her face.

Dimas pulled Alila's hand to sit on the sand, without letting go of her grip. He held their hands on his cross-legged feet.

"Al, if I had to leave you, would you still want to wait for me to come back?"

Alila locked her gaze towards Dimas. He did not understand the meaning of Dimas' words.

"Don't talk like that, Dim."

"My job application was accepted, Al."

"really? Congratulations, Dim, finally your dream is achieved, want to work for the biggest telecommunications company."

Alila's face sparkled and threw a sweet smile towards Dimas.

"But I have to go, Al..."

Alila's heart stopped beating when she heard Dimas' words. The smile just disappeared, not believing what he had just heard.

"Go? Whatchu mean?"

Dimas looked at Alila with a sad look. His heart was heavy to reveal this. But he doesn't have much time left.

"I'm welcome, Al. But I had to attend the training at headquarters for three whole months. Without exit and communication. "

Three months? Alila was still staring at Dimas with a glare of eyes that had turned mute.

"That long? Where's where?"

"Hand."

Three months. Is he willing to part with Dimas for that long? During these four years, they never met for only three days, and every day they can still communicate.

And now, three months without sua and kayu? Would he be able to hold off the farewell with Dimas for that long? Unknowingly, his face had been soaked by tears. He started sobbing.

"I..."

Dimas couldn't stand to see those tears. But she also could not prevent Alila from crying. Perhaps by shedding her tears, she could let go of all her current feelings.

Dimas took off his hand. His hand turned upwards, clutching Alila's body into his arms. At that instant Alila cried on the chest of the man she loved so much. Dimas just kept quiet, letting Alila let go of all the wedge in his heart.

His own feelings are mixed up incoherently. Happy mixed in tension because this was the first time she had embraced a woman and she was someone who had made her fall in love. While on the other hand, he was also sad to remember that he had to leave Alila for a long time.

Dimas lowered his head, looking at Alila who was still sobbing. His heart suddenly trembled again as he stared at the sad face in his embrace. There was an erratic thump that filled his chest cavity.

"Al, stop crying."

Still in Dimas' arms, Alila turned her head to look at the man.

"Aren't you feeling sad, Dim?"

"If I'm sad, should I cry like you?"

"It's not like that I mean. I'm sorry.."

Alila wiped her tears and pulled her body from Dimas' embrace. Now they sat together staring at the twilight that was beginning to come.

They both fold their legs up until both knees are aligned with their chest. Both of Alila's hands were folded over her knees, while Dimas held her arms forward on the pedestal of both knees.

"Dim, when are you leaving?"

"Three more days."

Alila held her breath so as not to cry anymore. He tried to smile, though bitter.

"You're gonna wait for me, Al?"

"Just like we're waiting for dusk to come, I'll be waiting for you to come back, Dim."

"Thank you, Al."

"Together, Dim."

They both let go of their eyes to the high seas. Enjoying the twilight sky with the sun that has turned orange, slowly down gradually sinking at the end of the horizon.

When dusk was perfect, Dimas and Alila set foot back into the car. For a moment they unwinded in a tavern, before continuing on their way home.

On the way, Alila had fallen asleep. Every now and then Dimas looked towards his beloved Sleeping Princess. She smiled at Alila's face. He will miss that face. The face that always makes her smile. The face that always calms his heart. The face of the woman who owns her heart.

Dimas' car has reached Alila's yard. He shut off his car engine. Alila still looks good. He brought his body closer to Alila's side. He looked at Alila with a loving look of shade.

He began to speak softly to Alila who was asleep.

"Thank you, Al, for your opportunity for me. I'm sorry if I had to leave you when we were just getting started. I really hope that by the time I get back, I've found the answers I've been looking for all this time. Hopefully by then, I'll know the truth about how I feel about you, Al."

Without Dimas knowing, Alila had listened to everything. Yes, when Dimas' car stopped earlier, Alila had actually woken up, but still felt heavy to open her eyes. At that moment, Dimas started talking so that Alila unintentionally listened to him.

In his heart, Alila smiled. He was happy to know Dimas' true heart.

(I'll be waiting for you, Dim. I will always wait for you to express your feelings to me.)
