Darma observes his sister's behavior, who continues to steal his eyes towards Alila. While Alila who was still a little nervous, just lowered her head and played her fingers.
It was then that Darma noticed and noticed a small, circular object on Alila's ring finger. He glanced at Dimas who was sitting opposite him, then smiled sensibly.
"Ma, it looks like Mama's youngest is really an adult.."
Darma begins to tease her sister through her mother.
"Hhmm.., really? Yeah, now Mama feels like she's got a rival to love for your sister.."
Mama sees Dimas and Alila who are still silent in turn.
In his heart, Dimas' biological mother was happy because the cold and quiet Dimas character had tethered his heart to the figure of his female idol.
Dimas turned his head towards Alila knowing that the woman must have been increasingly unsettled by the temptations and jokes of his family.
"Are you okay, Al? I'm sorry that my family makes you feel uncomfortable here." Dimas said softly by bringing his body closer to Alila.
"I'm fine, Dim." Alila replied no less softly and tried to show her smile even though her chest was pounding.
Without caring about the others, Dimas who was sitting to the left of Alila grabbed his lover's left hand and rubbed it gently. He looked at Alila with love.
Then Dimas looked sharply at his brother because he felt intimidated and became the subject of discussion. Darma who was stared like that even laughed at the behavior of his sister. Moreover, seeing Dimas who dared to hold the hand of his lover in front of them all.
"Look, Pa. He had even dared to hold Alila's hand before us without shame."
Papa turned his gaze towards Dimas and Alila. He smiled at the two of them who looked timid. Like Darma, papa Dimas' attention also stopped on the ring that Alila was wearing.
"Ma, look at your youngest, he's really down to my nature. Without many words he had already proven his feelings and dared to tie their relationship with a ring."
Suddenly Alila pulled her hand and lowered her head in embarrassment. Dimas who saw it immediately distanced his hand from Alila's lap.
"Alila, be understood, son. Our family is like this, rarely can be serious and would rather joke around to discuss anything. Don't hesitate and don't put it to heart."
Mama understands Alila's feelings for the first time with the entire Dimas family, but has to be showered with a lot of discussion about her relationship with the youngest.
Alila did not dare to say a word. He just smiled and nodded his head to say what Mom Dimas said.
"Alright, let them these men continue their conversation. We talked inside with Indira. Just get ready and clean up our luggage."
Mama stood up and started to step out of the living room. He stopped for a moment to wait for Alila.
Alila's views turned to Dimas. He waited for Dimas who was still watching his mother. Not long after, he turned to look at Alila who was waiting for him. She smiled and nodded her head, giving her lover time to talk to her mother and sister-in-law inside.
Alila returned Dimas' smile, then stood up and walked in Dimas's footsteps.
They reached Darma's old room. Sekar baby still sleeps soundly in the middle of the bed, while Indira is putting her and Darma's clothes in the suitcase. On the table there is a bag belonging to baby Sekar which contains full clothes along with toiletries and toys.
Mama Dimas sat on the edge of the bed watching her granddaughter. Alila followed him and sat on the edge of the bed on the other side. While Indira is still finishing her busy life.
"Alila, how long has your relationship changed to what it is today?" Asked Mama Dimas with her soft voice and warm maternal gaze.
"Not too long, Aunt. After we graduated college yesterday."
"But you've been close friends since. So you know each other so well."
"Yes." Yeah."
"How's it feel, Al? From friends then you have a more serious relationship like now?"
"It's normal, brother. Not much has changed."
"Has Dimas already expressed his feelings for you?"
"Yes, brother. It's." Already."
Alila felt like she was in a sick room and was being interrogated with intimidating questions about her relationship with Dimas.
When Indira was again busy with her luggage, her mother-in-law noticed the ring that was coiled on Alila's ring finger. He smiled realizing that his youngest son had grown up and dared to act like a real man.
Alila occasionally plays the tiny fingers of baby Sekar who is still asleep, so that his sitting position when it is slightly tilted to the middle of the bed with resting on his left hand. With the position of the ring that has just been pinned Dimas on his ring finger it is seen very clearly by mama Dimas and the son-in-law.
"The ring. Was it true Dimas gave it to her?"
Mama is looking for certainty, afraid that her thoughts are wrong. Because all this time Dimas never talked about Alila or other women, let alone tell about his serious relationship with someone.
For a moment Alila stared at the love ring from Dimas. Unknowingly his lips revealed a happy smile. The hue of his face had turned red withstanding the embarrassment of being noticed by mama Dimas and Indira.
"Yes, this is a ring from Dimas."
"Hmm.., it turns out that's right, the kid's an adult. It'll probably catch up with Darma soon."
Mama muttered with a meaningful smile. His memory drifts in remembering Dimas' quiet childhood, inversely proportional to his brother's open, cheerful and ignorant Darma. Smaller dimas prefer to be alone and busy themselves with their textbooks.
Not felt, now his little Dimas has turned into an adult man who began to know love. Even his heart had been tethered to a beautiful woman who was none other than his own close friend.
"Mama's crying..?"
Indira found tears dripping on her mother-in-law's cheeks. Alila immediately turned her gaze towards mama Dimas. Suddenly his heart was touched as soon as he saw those tears.
Alila shifted her body closer to the side of Mama Dimas. Out of nowhere, his hand moved to touch the hand of the woman who was starting to age gently.
"Aunty..." Alila didn't know what to say.
"It's okay, Alila. Mom just remembered Dimas' childhood. It doesn't feel like he's an adult now that he can even love a woman like you.."
Indira who watched him smiled. She already knew, her mother-in-law must be moved to think about her youngest child who has become an adult.
Alila's hands trembled while being suddenly held and grasped by Mama Dimas. His heart felt warm, there was a sense of calm mixed that enveloped him.
"Alila, mom, get Dimas."
