Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
46 OUR BEACHES - PART 1

The next morning, after releasing the Dimas family's return out of town, the man took Alila away tired, after one week yesterday they both prepared many things for their marriage in a marathon.

"Where are we going, Dim?"

"Our beach."

Alila frowned confusedly.

"When do we have a beach?"

Dimas glanced at him then looked back at the highway in front of him.

"Since the first time we've both been there."

"You mean the new beach that until now has not had the official name?"

Dimas nodded his head.

"Let's just say it's our beach, Al."

Alila laughed in response to Dimas's words. He found it funny to hear the name of our beach, as if they were the owners of that beach.

"It's up to you to laugh at me. I'll still call it our beach."

Alila stopped her laughter. He saw Dimas already putting on his cold face. It seemed that her lover was being too sensitive to her feelings, so that her little laugh alone could make her dislike and her face turned cold instantly.

Alila moved slowly, bringing her body closer to Dimas. His hand touched the hand of Dimas who was still holding the wheel. The man remained silent, not reacting in the slightest.

"I'm sorry, Dim..."

Dimas still remained with his cold face and tightly locked mouth.

"I didn't mean to laugh at you. I just feel funny hearing it, like the beach is ours."

Alila took a long breath. He let go of his hand and returned to sitting properly in his place. For a moment he looked at Dimas' face that was still cold and did not care about it. Then he turned his face towards the window.

Long enough a quiet atmosphere is created in the car that continues to drive. Up to the second where Dimas heard Alila's stuck sobs. He turned his head to confirm it, and that very second he immediately pulled over his car and stopped quickly.

As soon as the car stopped, without waiting any longer Dimas approached Alila and immediately pulled the body into his arms.

"Don't cry, Al."

Alila who had not been able to digest what had just happened, was only stunned in Dimas' embrace. But soon he began to notice it and shed the cry he had originally held.

His hands spontaneously embraced the man he loved. A cold and stiff man who always behaves unpredictably and at will. But he loved her very much...

It felt by him as Dimas let out a long sigh, then kissed the top of his head for a very long time. His heart trembled and warmed feeling all of that until his cries gradually subsided.

Slowly Dimas let go of his embrace and looked at Alila's face that was still wet with tears. Both of her hands cupped the reddened face from crying, then she cleaned Alila's tears with both of her thumbs.

"I'm sorry, Al. I'm carried away by emotions."

Alila only nodded her head, as her voice was still choked from crying earlier.

"We continue the journey first. We'll be there soon."

Both of them sat in the right position. Then Dimas started to re-apply his car. Sometimes he still continued to pay attention to Alila, making sure that the woman was okay.

Fifteen minutes later, they reached the new beach. It has been a month since they came to that place. And now, when the two of them returned here, there were some changes they saw.

The parking area is laid out in one place so that no more wild parking approaches the beach. In addition, along the road to the beach there are several small huts that sell food and drinks for supplies while on the beach. And of course not to miss there is a ticket ticket purchase counter to the beach location.

After buying the entrance ticket and soft drinks for provisions while at the beach, they immediately passed the entrance by handing over the tickets they had bought.

The two of them walked together along the beach accompanied by a cool breeze typical of the open ocean. Dimas embraced Alila's shoulders affectionately while Alila's hands hugged her waist tightly.

Then they arrive at the place they always go to every time they come to this beach. Shade under large, tall trees with unique seats from small fishing boats tipped upside down under trees.

Dimas put a plastic bag containing the drinks they bought earlier on the chair. And before Alila sat down, Dimas' hand had held her first and pulled Alila's body into her arms.

"Dim..."

Alila was shocked and spread her gaze around them. There are only a few groups of people who play on the beach and do not pay attention to the existence of the two of them who are still quite far from the beach water.

"I'm sorry, Al."

Dimas further tightened his embrace making Alila immediately return the hug. Dimas closed his eyes and rested his head on Alila's shoulder.

"Why are you apologizing to me, Dim?"

"In the car earlier, I was carried away by emotions so I silenced you. I shouldn't have acted that way, when you didn't do anything wrong."

Alila stretched out her arms, giving them some distance between their bodies, so that they could stare at each other in a fairly close face distance.

"I understand, Dim. I also carried away my feelings until I cried earlier. I feel sad because you silenced me like that."

Their eyes kept clashing, not wanting a second to pass without looking at each other.

Their bodies may be tired, but their hearts are too strong to weaken even in the toughest moments they face.

"Maybe because one week yesterday we both had too many activities that drain the energy and also the mind, so our emotions become easily ignited just because of small things that do not mean like earlier, Al."

"That's why I deliberately wanted to bring you here, so that we could release all the burdens we felt, and recover ourselves with new energy from this place."

Alila nodded and continued to comment on the smile on her lips, making Dimas who saw her spontaneously landed a kiss on her forehead until Alila's smile grew even more beautiful.

"You know, Al. What's the real reason why I call this place our beach?"

"What is that, Dim?"

Before answering him, Dimas changed their embrace. From the first one hugging face to face, now Dimas carried his body behind Alila and re-collared their bodies with a tight hug on Alila's waist which was reciprocated with a warm touch of Alila's hands on Dimas' hands.

The two together let go of the view towards the beach and the open sea that spread full of charm in front of them.

"This beach is a witness to the journey of our love story, Al."

"Here is the first time I've asked you out together, before I'm gone for three months. Here too when I have returned, I dare to express my feelings of love to you."

"That's why this beach is so special to me, as are you and your very special love for me and my love, Al."
