Waiting for Love for Me

Waiting for Love for Me
55 FEAR OF LOSING

The dawn is approaching, two young men have awakened and are performing their dawn duties. While one beautiful woman was still asleep with a calm face and no longer pale.

Alano fell back to sleep on the sofa while playing with the phone in his hand. Dimas left the room to buy a warm drink in the hospital cafeteria. Soon she had returned with three warm cups of tea in separate plastic bags.

He immediately approached Alano and gave him a glass. Alano turned to sit and immediately sip the tea that still tends to heat to warm his body.

Dimas placed the other two glasses on the table to the right of Alila's bed. While sitting waiting for Alila on her right side, she picked up one glass of drink and took a sip of it little by little to relieve her throat.

"Dim..."

Alila woke up and grabbed Dimas' hand which was still holding the glass filled with warm tea. Dimas smiled and immediately stood close to Alila's face.

"Good morning, my Sleeping Daughter..." Said Dimas while kissing Alila's forehead.

"I'd like a drink..." Alila pulled out Dimas' hand holding her glass.

"Attent, Al. I'll set the position of your bed first so you can drink comfortably."

Dimas was about to remove Alila's hand from her but was unplugged when he saw Alano already standing on the left side of the bed.

"Let me set it up, ma'am."

Alano pressed the settings button on the left side of the bed. The top of Alila's bed moved slowly up until Alila's sleeping position was now half-sitting.

"It's comfortable yet, mbak?" Alano asked as she removed her hand from the settings button.

Alila nodded her head. Then he pulled Dimas' hand back and immediately sipped Dimas's warm tea to Dimas' surprise.

"Al, I had a drink. Your drink's still on the table."

"Usually we're like this too, Dim." Alila answered while resting her head back.

She smiled gently at the face of her future husband, sending Dimas off and returning that sweet smile.

"Alright, we'll keep getting used to it like this." Reply Dimas while putting his glass on the table.

"The habit or the irritation, ma'am? Everyone is sharing. Drink a glass together, eat a plate of both. Later after marriage, will sleep together..."

Alano laughed out loud as she said her last sentence, leaving Alila and Dimas shocked and staring at each other.

"Lan, watch your talk..!" Hardik shouts Alila to his sister.

"But that's the truth, ma'am."

Alano still teases her sister with her pranks. After that he went back to the sofa and continued the game on his phone, letting Alila and Dimas go back together in a time when the sun had not yet risen.

"Forget the words of Alano, Dim." Said Alila timidly remembering the words of her sister.

"Why should we forget?" Look at Dimas sharply towards Alila.

"It's okay, I'm embarrassed.."

"Why should I be ashamed?" Cecar Dimas's.

"Don't talk about it anymore." Alila Pinta.

"Isn't that what it really is?" Cecar Dimas again.

"Yes, but we haven't done it yet." Alila was embarrassed.

"Four weeks we'll get married and we'll do it." Dimas smiled thinly.

"I don't want to talk about it now, Dim."

Dimas rubbed Alila's head with his left hand while his right hand held Alila's.

"Sorry, I'm just happy to tease you, just like Alano. Don't think about it anymore. Just think about your recovery, you must be healthy again soon. That's what I want, Al."

The two pairs of their eyes clashed in the silence of the dawn. For a moment they were silent, just clasping each other and staring at each other fixedly.

"Don't be like this anymore, Al. You don't know how scared I was last night when I saw you unconscious..."

"I'm sorry, Dim. I'm less able to keep myself away from you."

Dimas stood up and approached Alila, moved to sit on the edge of the bed right next to Alila and face towards her. Their hands still continued to fuse so tightly.

"I'm afraid of losing you, Al."

"Me too, Dim. Don't leave me."

Slowly both of Dimas' hands gently pulled Alila's body and carried her into his arms. Alila collapsed weakly in Dimas' arms with one hand hugging his beloved man's waist.

Alila could no longer hold back her tears. She spilled it on Dimas' shoulder making Dimas' eyes turn red and shed a few tears on both cheeks.

Alano who saw the intimacy chose to get off the sofa and out quietly to look for fresh air in the morning even though the sky still looks dark.

But before, he was often sent romantic songs by college girls who liked him, played one song on his phone and put it on the table, next to two human children who are dissolving in the arms of their love.

Hear the love of my heart crumble

If there's no you

Accompany me

Every night I

I'm thinking of you

I'm deserted deserted deserted

If there's no you

I die dead dead dead dead

If you go

Listen to my beloved

Don't leave me

I can't do it without you

Listen to my beloved

My life died for you

Please keep me

Hear the love of my heart crumble

If there's no you

Accompany me

Every night I

I'm thinking of you

I'm deserted deserted deserted

If there's no you

I die dead dead dead dead

If you go

Listen to my beloved

Don't leave me

I can't do it without you

Listen to my beloved

My life died for you

Please keep me

Listen to my beloved

Don't leave me

I can't do it without you

Listen to my beloved

My life died for you

Please keep me

Listen to my beloved

My life died for you

Alano's song is done, her phone is back in silence. Dimas and Alila also ended the embrace of those who had been reluctant to let go because they dissolved in the romance of the song that sounded in the ears of both. A song that seems to represent the feelings of their hearts that do not want to lose each other.

"Dim, I'd like to go to the bathroom to wash up."

"Just do it here, Al. Your body is still very weak. And your X-ray hasn't come out either. Don't move much yet."

"alright. Please just get me my gear."

Dimas swiftly picked up everything that Alila asked from inside his bag. Then he left Alila to celebrate and carry out his duties on the bed.

He sat waiting on the sofa as he opened his phone, checked several new messages and replied to them, especially from the wedding organizers.

Almost ten minutes passed, there was a soft voice Alila asked Dimas to help save all his mandatory equipment.

"Do you want to lie back down, Al?" Asked Dimas who was still standing on the left side of the bed.

Alila shook her head. He felt more comfortable with the position of sitting leaning as he was at this moment.

"Want to drink again?"

This time Alila nodded her head and Dimas immediately stepped up to move to the right side and took out a drink that was still intact and stuck a new straw in the middle of the plastic seal that covered the top.

"Drink.."

Alila received the glass Dimas offered and drank it little by little.

"Your father and mother haven't told me about your condition, Al. This morning, let Alano pick them up to come here."

"Yes, Dim. I don't want to make them worry either."

Alila handed the glass she held to Dimas to put it back on the table.

"Do you still feel pain, Al? Where's where?"

Dimas sat on the edge of the bed. Grasping Alila's right hand on her lap and wiping it with her thumb.

His eyes traced every part of Alila's body. He wanted to ascertain the current state of his future wife. He really is still very worried about her.

"My whole body still hurts, Dim. Emm.., I mean pain in some parts. Maybe because I fell down the stairs last night.."

Alila lowered her head, not daring to look at Dimas. This time he felt guilty for being careless and unable to take care of himself.

"I'm sorry, Dim. I should have been more careful.."

Dimas sighed slowly, trying to calm his heart which was still constantly stricken with fear of Alila's condition.

Imagine the situation when Alila's body fell and rolled from the stairs up to the bottom, making his heart immediately rustled in fear, fearing the very worst.

"I'm sorry, too, for not being there when you needed me, Al."

Dimas' left hand grabbed Alila's head and kissed her forehead gently and long. In his heart he promised himself, to be able to take care of Alila better, so that no more bad things happened to the woman he loved, he loved her more than he loved himself.

Alila, his first love and also his last love. His most beautiful love and his special love. The best love of his life.
