"Where do you want to eat, Al?"
The car stopped at the first red light. Dimas' hands moved to cupped Alila's face, rubbed her cheeks gently, then kissed her lips briefly. His pair of eyes continued to look at the beauty of the wife who was still very much missed.
"Anywhere will feel good to be with you, Dim." Alila teased her husband and laughed. His mood was at its best, after Dimas gave a surprise with his return.
Dimas shook his head slowly accompanied by a faint smile on his lips.
"Since when have you liked a rumble like that?" Ask the handsome guy.
"It's okay once in a while, Dim. Don't be like you, keep cold." Alila replied as she continued to stare at Dimas who had just pulled his hand back at the wheel of the car and advanced it at a moderate speed, splitting apart the crowd of the highway they were passing by.
"My cold attitude doesn't apply to you, baby..." Taking a quick glance and throwing a smile at his wife, Dimas' left hand stretched out stroked and gently ruffled the hair at Alila's head.
Alila's heart rippled finely as if filled with butterflies boisterous flying. Always feeling a great happiness, so calm and peaceful, whenever Dimas treated her like that.
Soon their car drove past Aris's cafe. Dimas had noticed the atmosphere of the cafe and read the signboard attached to the front of the building wall.
"Isn't that the cafe you went to this afternoon, Al?"
Alila turned a glance right when she was seen by Aris who was standing outside the cafe in the same clothes as before. Perhaps he had just delivered the order to the patio table, because his hand was still holding an empty tray.
"Yes. And it turns out the cafe belonged to my old schoolmate." Alila's gaze had already turned to look at Dimas who looked a little surprised, seen from the romance of his face that turned flat with a sharp gaze towards him.
"Male?" Alila answered her husband's question.
"If you had seen him, he stood on the terrace of the cafe as we passed."
Dimas remembered for a moment and slightly imagined the face of the man his wife meant. An uncomfortable feeling began to be felt in his heart.
"You also talked to him there?"
"Just for a second, say hello to each other."
Dimas was silent while thinking of something. The face of the man he had seen earlier was so similar to someone he knew. But Dimas wasn't completely convinced because he only saw it at a glance.
"Where's the house?"
This time the question was not because of the jealousy that had plagued his heart even though he did feel that way at the moment, but to confirm his conjecture about someone.
"I don't know where he lives now. But it used to be his parents' house in the back of your office."
(It seems like my guess is right! Same address.)
Dimas did not continue talking about Aris until Alila felt the man was angry with him. Her delicate hand touched the thigh of the husband who was focusing on his wheel.
"Don't be angry, Dim. We accidentally met and I didn't know the cafe was hers. It's all just a coincidence." Rajuk Alila then kissed her husband's left cheek.
Dimas turned his head for a moment and smiled and clasped his wife's right hand with his left.
"I'm not angry, baby. I'm sorry for asking too many questions." Kissing Alila's hand and being held in her chest, made Alila smile.
"When we eat there, so I can introduce you to him as my husband, my beloved husband..." Dimas nodded slowly and felt very happy to hear the words of his beloved woman.
Dimas' car turned into the spacious courtyard of a restaurant. Alila recalled, this was the restaurant where the two of them said about their love affair to Tama, Sandy and Nayla.
And the same night in this place, Dimas proposed to her and asked her to be the wife and mother of their children. Alila smiled to herself and it was seen by her husband who had just turned off the car engine.
Without asking, Dimas knew what his wife was thinking. Because that's why he invited Alila to dinner at this place. To recall the historic moments of their relationship.
Cupps! Dimas steals a brief kiss on Alila's lips, while the woman is still half conscious and continues to stare out the car window. Alila blinked her beautiful eyes until it looked more beautiful in the view of Dimas.
Staring at the face of her husband who was still close to her face, Alila's smile expanded perfectly.
"I love you, Dim..."
"I love you more, Al..."
And their kiss continued, deepening yet full of tenderness. So soft and warm that the hearts of both also felt the fine swish that penetrated beautifully through the recesses of the heart, accompanying a loving and affectionate kiss that was still full of longing.
Letting go of their kiss, Dimas rubbed his wife's wet lips attentively. Alila followed, doing the same on the lips of her beloved man. Then they got out of the car and joined hands to enter a restaurant that was not too crowded with visitors.
Up inside, they choose the same place as they used to be, but with a smaller table because they will only use both. Their orders were recorded by a waiter and waiting to be served.
"How's your job, Dim? That project? Is everything done?"
Alila looked at Dimas' face even deeper. It looked weary murat on his face, though faint. Not his body, maybe more on his mind that is required to continue to concentrate on the tasks that must be completed quickly and in a row.
"It has. Just waiting for the inauguration of the branch leader, but there are other teams who handle it. Hopefully, there will be no more problems."
Alila felt sad to see the tired face of Dimas who always covered her with a smile and attention for her. Suddenly his heart also weakened and gave rise to a clear puddle in the corner of his eyes.
Keep holding one hand Dimas and wipe it with a sense of tightness that burst in the heart. I don't know, suddenly Alano's words this morning flashed back in his ear, and immediately made him chastened with fear.
Dimas who had previously opened his phone for a while to check the last report he made along the way home this afternoon, was surprised to find Alila was already glazed staring at him without a sound.
"What's wrong? Why is it like this, hmm...??" His hands stretched out rubbing the wife's sad face.
Being asked like that made a puddle of tears Alila finally shed wet both of her cheeks that began to redden holding the sobs. Dimas was getting anxious about it.
"I'm scared..." That was all he said made Dimas even more confused and full of investigation.
"Fearful? What scares you? Tell me. Don't worry me, Al!"
Pramusaji came to serve dinner their order. For a moment Dimas turned his gaze to say thank you, then looked back and waited for Alila's reply.
"I'm afraid something bad happened to you, Dim. My feelings are not good. I'm so scared..."
"Ssttt...!! Calm yourself, Al. I'm doing fine. Nothing will happen to me."
Dimas grabbed Alila's body and kissed the side of his wife's forehead. Suddenly he remembered the message that Mr. Albi had sent him by email the other day.
"Dim, beware!"
