A beautiful morning at the beginning of the week. Alila is ready with her work clothes complete with heels and a long-styled briefcase.
He had been in the kitchen preparing breakfast for his family and Dimas. Yes, last night Alila sent Dimas a message to have breakfast at his house before they left for work together.
Alila only cooks fried rice with beef-eye egg side dishes. Not to forget he also gave a sprinkling of fried onions favorite Dimas and fried shrimp crackers as a complement to their breakfast this time.
Half an hour and seven Dimas came. In the living room, she gave her greetings and kissed the hands of mama and papa Alila as usual.
"Morning, Om, Aunt.."
"Yes, morning, Dim. You go straight inside. Alila's in the dining room." Said mama Alila.
"You have breakfast first, so that it is not too late to leave. We'll catch up." Add papa Alila who is also ready with a work uniform, but still enjoying his morning coffee.
Dimas nodded and went straight inside to meet Alila at the dining table. She smiled at her lover who was tidying the dishes on the table.
While sitting waiting, Dimas' eyes searched for the whereabouts of Alano who had not been seen since he arrived earlier.
"Searching Alano? He's sleeping in his room again." Alila seemed to know who Dimas was looking for.
"Did he not go to college?"
"Say he didn't attend college this semester in the first hour. That's why from today he wants revenge to sleep again. Yesterday he had to get up early because there was a duty to take me to work."
Dimas smiled to himself remembering that during these three months, he had asked Alano to look after and accompany her brother wherever Alila went.
"You too, you shouldn't have to ask him for help. I can still go alone and take care of myself, Dim."
"I don't want you to be lonely and alone, Al. Why are you insensitive to the attention I give." Dimas' voice sounded a little louder than usual.
Alila stared at Dimas. There was guilt in her heart because of the words she had said to her lover earlier. He should have been able to appreciate Dimas' attention more, not blame him instead.
Alila sat down next to Dimas. His hand moved slowly touching Dimas' hand on the table.
"sorry. I'm sorry for the words, Al..."
He waited, but Dimas was still silent and would not see him. In her grasp, Alila rubbed the back of Dimas' hand and kissed him gently.
Alila shed her tears. He's feeling more guilty. Dimas felt the back of his hand wet with Dinda's tears. He directed his two eyeballs to the face of Alila who was still holding on looking at him with eyes filled with regret.
Dimas could not bear to see the beautiful eyes that let out his tears even if only a few drops. With her own hands, she wiped Alila's tears. He let out a long sigh, enduring the tightness within his chest.
"Don't cry anymore. I'm not mad."
Dimas returned Alila's hand kiss with the same thing.
"I'm just worried about you. Because I'm used to being with you, Al."
"Yes, Dim. I-i know. I'm sorry."
Dimas and Alila both smiled. Alila pulled out her hand that was still holding onto Dimas's hand. Deftly he immediately took breakfast for his lover and also for himself, then the two of them began to enjoy his breakfast.
Finished breakfast, Alila cleaned the dishes and glasses they had just used, then returned and stood beside Dimas' chair.
"We're leaving now, Al?"
"Yes." Yeah."
Dimas stood up and then brought his face closer to Alila's face, making Alila's heartbeat feel darted in there.
(What are you going to do, Dim?)
Dimas tidied the hair around Alila's ear then whispered right in her ear without distance.
"Thank you for breakfast, my future wife..."
(That's my hope, Al.)
Dimas immediately pulled his face back to see Alila's reaction to her words.
Alila rounded her eyes, unable to believe what she had just heard. His ears were still warm due to Dimas's breath as he whispered earlier.
(What are you saying, Dim? I didn't hear wrong, did I?)
Dimas smiled angrily looking at Alila's face that had been blushing red. He walked away from Alila, before him to say goodbye to her father and mother Alila.
Shortly after, Alila appeared in the living room and said goodbye to her parents. The two of them immediately stepped out of the house and got into Dimas' car. Without waiting anymore Dimas also drove his car splitting the crowds of morning traffic that began to be crowded in all directions.
In the car, Alila was silent. His mouth was tightly closed, occasionally he bit his own lips. He was still thinking about Dimas' words in the dining room earlier. Until she didn't realize that Dimas was watching her.
"I.."
Dimas' voice broke his mind. His head turned towards Dimas who was staring at him because the car stopped at a red light. His mind was still split, between Dimas's words earlier and his current gaze.
"Why you?" Ask Dimas.
"Huh? Oh? It's-it's okay."
(Why am I so nervous and misbehaving myself like this, Dim.)
"Are you thinking about what I said?"
Alila started to look down. He was embarrassed if it turned out that Dimas was just playing around with his words.
"You know me, Al. I'm not gonna say something I don't want or don't feel."
The car has returned. Dimas's gaze shifted on the road traffic in front of him. But that didn't stop his words.
"We're just going through this, Al. We enjoy the process together. You want to, right?"
Alila dared to look back at Dimas. Right along with the glare of the eyes and a fleeting smile from the man towards her.
"Yes, Dim. I want to."
Smiles spread on both of their lips.
A few minutes later they arrived at the parking lot of Pandawa Group. Dimas parked his car some distance from the entrance of the building. He wants to get Alila to the lobby.
Before getting out of the car, Dimas's hand had suddenly fused with Alila's hand with their fingers interrupting each other.
"Good job, Al. We both fight for our future."
"Happy work too, Dim. It's your first day working in the office. Don't forget to rest."
Dimas kissed Alila's hand and clasped on her chest, until her heartbeat was felt by Alila. His gaze continued to stare at Alila who was also staring at him with a heart full of debating.
After easing the turmoil in each other's hearts, they walked out and walked together towards the entrance of the building. In her heart Alila felt very happy because today was the first time Dimas accompanied her into the office.
Arriving in the lobby, they stopped and faced each other.
"Thank you, Dim. It's taken me here."
"Yes. I'm staying first, Al. If there's time, I'll pick you up to eat with me."
Alila nodded her head. Before stepping out, Dimas whispered softly in Alila's successful ear making her face red with a blush.
"I love you.."
Then Dimas walked away leaving Alila still silently glued to his shy smile.
