Heavy rain flushed the city of Paris from morning to evening. The sound of water gurgling down each other formed various puddles on each side of the road. A pair of pantofel shoes covered with black leather material, flipping apart the water that had not felt its calm.
The figure of the long-haired man had pulled over under the roof of the multi-storey building. A glass building with a tall body shape resembling a trapezoidal pyramid seemed to shade the stocky body in his arms. The man who owned the pantofel shoes rubbed his coat, hair and face wet with rain drops.
Small threads trickled down on his fancy watch, when he saw the needle move pointing at a number.
“There is still ten minutes left,” murmured while entering the Mandellion Company building. Famous fashion companies in Paris.
With confidence, the man stepped foot into the meeting room on the fifth floor. The place that was once used to conduct a tender event a few days ago.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Ferrit Kozan,” said one representative from the Mandellion Company when the long-haired man had just opened the door of the room and stepped inside.
“Good day, Mrs Aurora.” Ferrit returned the hand of the female manager who announced the result of her victory.
The man also saw President Mandellion and another man he had never met.
“Mr Kozan, introduce this Mr. Felipe, he is a Legal Officer at Mandellion,” said Aurora who introduced a man who was on his right. “And to my left, Mr. Curtiz, he is the President of Mandellion.”
“It is nice to meet you, Mr. Curtis and Mr. Felipe,” greet Ferrite accompanied by his hand job title to two French men.
"What time is your flight schedule , Mr Kozan?” Mr. Curtiz asked as he placed the documents he had in his hand on the table. The man then sat in his chair which was in the middle.
“Act 17.25. There are still three hours from now.” Ferrite landed his body on one of the black chairs lined up around the long table. Now he is faced with three representatives of Mandellion.
“Alright, we immediately started the signing of the Kozan Company's cooperation contract with Mandellion,” said Curtiz who opened the document in front of him and gave some of the paper to Ferrit.
“Please you read it first, Mr. Kozan. Broadly speaking, our cooperation will last for five years and will be renewed every five years. Kozan will provide raw materials, production processes and finished goods for Mandellion" Curtiz said without reading the document.
"While Mandellion will provide a system for the results to the Kozan Company. 40 percent for Mandellion and 60 percent for Kozan Company. Kozan Company is willing to give its trademark name to Mandellion.” Company Curtiz explained the points of their cooperation. Without anything being missed.
“What is this? Kozan company will pay the losses incurred by Mandellion, in the event of delays in delivery, production defects and material incompatibility?” Ferrite scrunched his forehead.
“OK, for production defects and material nonconformities, I can understand. But for delivery it is not my company's fault if there is a delay!” refute the Ferrite who threw the document at the table.
“There is no excuse for all three things, Mr. Kozan. Do not blame the delivery party if it is too late, because your company should have estimated between the production time and the delivery time of the goods,” Curtiz replied while leaning forward. His ten fingers interlocked together to support his chin.
"Mr Curtiz, this isn't the first time my company has partnered with an overseas company! No one of my partner companies is charging Kozan Company with delivery issues!" Ferrite stared intently at Curtiz's face. He felt fooled by these French people.
"It's up to you to judge, Mr. Kozan. Mandellion's company has its own rules," Curtiz replied by snapping all ten of his interlocked fingers and raising one of his eyebrows as he stared at Ferrite.
The Turkish man was silent for a while, thinking about the President's words. Curtiz resumed his explanation of the details of their cooperation contract.
"About that revenue sharing system, we included the offer you made, Mr. Kozan."
Ferrite snorted angrily then responded to Curtiz's words, "That's why Mandellion chose my company, because I gave Mandellion more percentage of profits."
Curtiz developed both corners of his lips.
“How, Mr Kozan? If you are willing, please sign this agreement document.” Aurora shows the part that Ferit must sign. “But..., if you back off, then we will give this tender to the second company below your offer price.”
"Who's the second bidder under me?" ferrit asked with a look on his face filled with doubt.
"It's unethical for us to mention, Mr. Kozan." Aurora placed a pen on top of the treaty document.
For a few seconds, Ferrite fell silent. He stared at the writing of his name on the white paper in front of him.
Give this project to a second company? What is the Falea Company? This can't happen! I won't let that little company get a single project!
Ferrite immediately took the pen that had been provided by Aurora then he signed the double document, witnessed by the three representatives of Mandellion.
Curtiz also gave his signature, witnessed by his two subordinates. Felipe and Aurora put their parafs on every page.
“Wise decision, Mr. Kozan. May our cooperation run smoothly,” Curtiz said after the two company seals adorn the paper of the agreement.
The two leaders of the company shook hands. There were only two faint smiles on each lip.
“Give me a copy of the original. I'll wait here.” Ferrite returned to his seat.
“You won't have to wait long, Mr. Kozan.” Curtiz's words made Ferit raise one of his eyebrows to a tall man with a thin stature.
“Felipe, give a copy to Mr Kozan!” pinta the President.
The man with the misty hair did as his boss ordered. After getting the original copy, Ferrite immediately said goodbye and left the Mandellion Company. He rushed to the airport by taxi.

Istanbul, Turkey.
After Mehmet and Cansu's return, Ivy was immediately preoccupied with making designs for her wedding dress and Cansu's wedding dress. He began to scratch his drawing paper with a pencil, incised various straight and curved lines until two slender bodies of a woman were formed. Then she began to draw the shape of the dress that Cansu and herself wanted. Ivy was unaware of the presence of someone who entered her study.
“Which wedding dress is yours?” asked Kenan who was standing behind Ivy's chair. The man looked at two sketches of the bride's dress along the ankle. The picture on the left with the A-line model, while the picture on the right with the mermaid model. Both dresses were open on her shoulders.
“Punyaku who is a mermaid model while having Cansu model A-line,” Ivy replied while showing the half-finished design to Kenan. “What do you think?”
Kenan pulled up his work chair and placed it next to Ivy's chair. The man hugged his girlfriend's arms and picked up the sketch paper Ivy was holding. He looked at his lover's face and the sketch alternated.
“Come say...” Ivy put her temple on Kenan's arm.
Kenan flicked his finger at the sketch of the drawing with the mermaid model on the right. “I like this one.”
“Whatever clothes you wear, you look so beautiful to me,” praise Kenan who will land her lip kiss on Ivy's cheek, but the woman immediately brushed it off with her palm, made Kenan's face turn to the right.
“I tell you the truth,” concluded Kenan while tilting his head.
Ivy got up from her chair and tidied up her desk, while Kenan just sat there watching her boyfriend pacing back and forth.
The man then helps Ivy to dispose of unused used paper. He stepped on the plastic pedal near his feet, making the lid of the basket open completely. The gray-eyed bead was wide-eyed once it found the contents of the empty trash basket.
Where's that paper shred? Did someone take it?
Kenan turned his gaze to look at Ivy who was turning off the laptop.
Did Ivy take the letter I torn last night? It doesn't seem like him, if Ivy manages to find him, he won't be this calm talking to me.
Aaron's son stared at the nanar as he walked closer to Ivy.
I hope you never find out the letters and emails from the Puzulla Company, honey. May Nur throw away the rubbish.
“You're done?” kenan asked Ivy, after they stood facing each other. The Victor princess nodded her head and smiled sweetly at the man.
“Do you really not want to make a wedding? Although it is simple, but I am still able to give it all to you.”
The dark gray eye bead gently looked at her lover's face. As if to please Ivy, then he can cover up something that he hid from the woman.
He held both Kenan arms. Ivy's palm felt the muscle lumps that adorned the man's arm. Rows of flat teeth are puffed out of his thin lips.
“Can marry you is my happiness. Living together with you, loving each other and no lies between us, that's enough for me.”
Ivy put both arms between Kenan's arms and the man grabbed him.
Kenan immediately swallowed his saliva after he heard Ivy's words. There are no lies between us. Both of his hands felt stiff to return Ivy's embrace.
I'm sorry, honey. Ii'm sorry…. Without an offer from Puzulla, I can still support you.

At eleven o'clock in the evening, Ferrite arrived at his home in Istanbul. He undressed in front of an Ivy painting hanging on the wall of his room. Ivy's face is a sketch of the picture.
“Until how long do I have to wait for you to come home, dear? It should have been a few months ago that you accompanied me every night. Inside this room.”
"Why don't you ever love me one bit? What are the advantages of that damn mechanic? Until you prefer it, huh?”
The sound of her phone ringing suddenly rang. Stopping the conversation with Ivy's painting.
Ferrite immediately put on his clothes and picked up the communication device lying on the table. The long-haired man squinted his eyelids after seeing the name of Victor's almarahum wife on his mobile screen.
Sophia? Why would he call me these nights?
With a single move on his finger, Ferrite received a phone call from Ivy's stepmother. He also started his conversation.
“What's up? I know we have no business anymore!” The sound of Ferrite sounded high.
“I know you're looking for Ivy at the moment.”
Ferrite laughed out loud. "I met him in Paris. I think you're a little late in giving me this news."
"It's not a matter of your meeting with Ivy. He does not live in Paris. Victor's daughter is still in Istanbul."
"You called me just to say this? You're wasting my time!" Ferrite's gonna shut the phone down.
"Wait Ferrite! I have some good news for you. In the near future, Ivy is no longer your future wife."
“What do you mean?" Ferrite took an arrow with a size along his index finger.
"Oh, looks like you're gonna have to replace that confidant of yours. He didn't tell you the latest news about Ivy?"
“Say! What do you know?” Ferrite threw the arrow at the target board. The small object with the pointed tip also shot quickly and stuck right in the middle of the circle.
“Nothing is free in this world, Ferrit.”
“What do you want?” Ferrite took the second and third arrows. Prepare to target his target.
“Ten percent of Kozan company stock!”
"You crazy? One percent I won't give it to you! What makes you sure that your information is worth ten percent of Kozan company?”
The man immediately threw two of his arrows at once onto the target board. One of the arrows fell down while the other arrow, deviated from the target.
“Of course my information is very valuable, even ten percent of it is still too small when compared to Ivy's wedding news!”
“What did you say just now, huh? Ivy is getting married?” Ferrite laughed out loud at Sophia's words. “You don't joke!”
“If I was joking, I wouldn't call you!”
The phone connection was also cut off.
“Sophia! Hey, Sophia!” shouted Ferrite furiously.
