Give Me Your Hand's

Give Me Your Hand's
This is how I Thank Him

"Ivy..," call Cansu across the street. Princess Sophia was in front of a bakery. He looked at the woman who had just come out of the office building, the woman was very similar to his half-brother.

"Cansu..," Ivy said after he set his eyes across the street. He waved his hand at the woman in blue.

The two half-brothers set foot on the bridge. They climbed one by one the stairs from different sides. Eventually they met in the middle of the bridge.

"How are you?" ask Cansu who saw Ivy with his formal clothes in the form of a white interior and a blazer suit and a light brown knee-length skirt.

"I just got a work call. How's yours?" asked Ivy who held Cansu's hand back towards her half-brother.

"I work at a food company. Oh yeah, this is bread for Deniz." Cansu gave a package of plastic bags with a famous brand stamp.

The green-eyed bead stared at Cansu's face, hesitating to accept the gift of her stepmother's daughter.

"Come, Ivy. Not because we don't live in the house anymore, you're cold to me." Cansu took Ivy's right hand and placed the plastic bag over Ivy's palm.

"All right." Ivy developed her smile from both corners of her lips. The Victor princess took out a small white envelope from inside the bag. The envelope and its contents have been prepared for a long time, if he ever met with Cansu.

It was Ivy's turn who pulled Cansu's hand and gave him a small envelope with the money. "Please don't refuse this."

"Ivy!" exclaims Cansu, but Deniz's brother closes Cansu's fingers to receive his gift.

"You shouldn't have done that! Where do you live now?" The two women walked side by sidewalk through shady trees lined up neatly on each street.

"Me and Deniz live in Nur's house, in the Fener area," said Ivy, who directs his thumb to stop a city bus passing through.

The white city bus stopped near Ivy and Cansu. The two also separated. Ivy attaches Istanbulkart (similar to a rechargeable token card) to the sensor lights at the bus entrance. After the sensor went off, Ivy looked for an empty seat in the third row from the front.

About fifteen minutes, Ivy's bus stopped at the end of Nur's street. The woman went down and walked towards the house that is now her residence.

"I'm home!" Ivy just opened the door.

He saw a white lily given by Ferrite which was still on the table. His two feet stepped towards the trash and threw out the flower. Although he was very fond of white lilies, but not the Ferrite that he expected to give his favorite flowers.

"How's your work call? Did they accept you?" ask Nur who came out of his room. He tied the dark blue curtain with a rope made of the same as the curtain. The curtain becomes the divider of the living room and space in the house.

"They accepted me, Nur!" Ivy shouted happily. He threw himself into his nanny's arms since childhood.

"That's very good news, baby. You bought bread to celebrate this?" Nur looked at the bread pack that was on the living room table.

"No. It's from Cansu. In front of the office, I met him. I have also returned the money from the results I sold clothes in the market," explained Ivy with a cheerful look on his face.

Nur looked at his master's son with a gentle look like a mother. Ivy is used to her new life. No luxury homes, no cars, and other luxury amenities. On one hand Nur was also very sad to see the fate of Ivy, but he did not know what to do to help the woman. He could only provide shelter for his employer's two children.

"I don't know, I didn't get to ask that. She now works at a food company, "Ivy answered while opening a rectangular bread box and giving a pack of bread to Nur, and a pack to Deniz.

It was dark, after Ivy had cleaned the dinner table and washed the dirty dishes. The woman immediately entered her room, she saw Deniz who was struggling at a small table and sitting on the floor.

"What are you doing?" asked Ivy who was sitting next to the little boy.

"Said Nur, the person who paid for my chemotherapy was named Kenan." Deniz's hand was still busy etching his pencil into his drawing paper. He did not set his eyes on Ivy's face.

Ivy cleared her throat in response to her sister's words. His eye beads were still busy paying attention to what images Deniz would make.

"I've met him once in the hospital. He said he was your friend. But I ignored him" said Deniz with his small mouth. His right hand did not stop moving. The picture was getting more and more clear, but Ivy could not guess the picture.

"Why do you ignore it? Are you afraid to meet her?" Ivy rubbed the top of her sister's fine hair.

"I'm not afraid. It's just, I don't know him. He suddenly sat next to me. Very familiar and I know you. But he seems like a good man" said Deniz, praising Kenan in front of his older brother.

"You're right, Deniz. Kenan is indeed a good man" replied Ivy who looked at Deniz's pencil case with a sad look.

"Tara...!" deniz exclaimed that surprised Ivy, because the woman was daydreaming considering the incident with Kenan in the Sultanahmet Square park a few days ago.

The little boy showed the picture, "Is this similar to him?"

Ivy's mouth opened wide after seeing Deniz's work. His sister showed a sketch of Kenan's face, very detailed for a little boy like Deniz.

"It's so similar! Your picture is like his picture!" Ivy exclaimed with a look of astonishment. His sister is really talented.

"Can you give this picture to her tonight?" deniz asked with her slightly begging face. "I want to thank him in my own way."

The green-eyed bead looked at Deniz's little face, from which the child learned to thank others. His mind was more mature than his current age.

"Ba.. all right, I'll give it to you tonight." Ivy immediately put the picture in her bag and took her coat hanging behind the door.

"If you're sleepy, you can go straight to sleep. I'll be home soon" Ivy said. He took the keys to the house and said goodbye to Nur.

The woman immediately went out to Kenan's residence. He had no idea that tonight was Kenan's boxing night. During the trip Ivy kept calling the man's cell phone, but there was no answer.

With gambling, Ivy tried to get to Kenan's flat. He took a tram to get to Balat, where the man lived.
