The next day in the dining room of the Eleanor family, the food was served on the table. Cansu, Sophia's daughter from her first husband was propping up her chin with her hands clinging to the table.
His father had been dead since he was ten years old. At the age of twelve, his mother married Ivy's father. The ages of Cansu and Ivy are the same, they are just different birth months. Cansu is five months older than Ivy.
Now the twenty-two-year-old woman looked at the sandwich and the yogurt in front of her, but she didn't really see it. His mind turned back to recall the events of last night. Think about what's going on in his family right now.
His half-brother, who had just returned to Istanbul last week, suddenly had to marry the man of his parents' choice. A man they don't know, Cansu once met Ferit at a glance in his stepfather's office.
Handsome, powerful, rich man... Isn't that the dream of all women? But why did Ivy refuse? Ivy... Ivy. You're too naive, baby.
"Cansu, yoghurt!" exclamation Nur. The housekeeper who was about forty years old saw his employer's son pour a thick and sour liquid while daydreaming.
"Oh...!" cansu was surprised after realizing that the yogurt liquid had spilled up to his dining table.
"I'll clean it up." Nur immediately took the napkin cloth in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, in Victor and Sophia's room, the middle-aged couple are again involved in the same quarrel as last night.
"If your kids hadn't been paying a lot of money, we wouldn't have been in a lot of debt, Victor!" sophia to her husband.
"It's not their fault. I work to meet the needs and future of the children!" deny Victor's pointing his index finger at his wife's face.
"Akui... how much money do we spend to send Ivy to Paris? And how much does treatment cost for Deniz? Your children are the biggest contributor to spending!" Sophia again cornered Victor.
"Enough, Sophia!" shouted Victor loudly. The middle-aged man rubbed his face roughly as his hands held the iron trellis of his bedroom window.
The middle-aged man was already unable to bear to face a situation like this. The company he built since he was young was threatened with bankruptcy. He could not pay his debts to the bank. Plus, Ferit's threat won't provide his help if the man can't marry Ivy.
"It's money for Deniz's treatment, the hospital has already charged him. I'll be right to the office" Victor said after lowering his emotions, giving Sophia an envelope.
"alright. I'll go to the hospital." Sophia received the white envelope. Before he put it in the drawer, he opened the contents of the envelope. His bead of shining eyes saw several sheets of paper money with a considerable amount. His lips are drawn upwards.
The sound of the pounding of shoes was heard down the stairs, causing Cansu and Nur to stop their activities this morning.
"Cansu, is Ivy home yet?" ask Victor who has not seen his real daughter in the dining room. His face was tense again.
"No, Dad. Last night I tried to call her phone, but it wasn't connected" replied Cansu who was still sitting in her dining chair.
"Cansu, you better find a job from now on. Who knows you could help our family's economy" Sophia said, inserting a piece of bacon into her bread pile.
"Only a matter of ordinary business. But your mother said, start looking for a job. Moreover, you also just finished your lecture," replied Victor as he lifted his glass containing orange juice, then gulped it down.
"I'll find a job after Ivy's found out. Today I'm going out looking for Ivy." Cansu looked at the faces of his father and mother in turn.
After finishing his breakfast, Victor immediately went to the office. While Cansu goes to look for Ivy. There was a hostess and a servant in the house.
Sophia came to Nur who was in the kitchen. The red-haired woman watched her servant who was making cookie dough.
"Who's the cake for?" sophia asked who made Nur turn off her egg-beating machine.
"Ivy. Ever since she came home from Paris, I haven't made her favorite cake yet" Nur replied as she poured some sugar into her yellow dough.
"Nur, I know you've been working long enough in this house. Before I even got into this family," said Sophia who leaned herself in front of a large oven machine.
The senior servant just stared straight at his employer's face. He still did not understand the flow of the woman's conversation. But he knew the character of Sophia, all the words of the woman had a hidden meaning.
"What do you want to talk about, Madam?" tanya Nur who took a napkin cloth to clean her hands exposed to flour dough.
"Fine from today, you're looking for another job!" sophia exclaimed with her beads of eyes staring down without looking at Nur's face.
"What do you mean, Madam? Is Madam going to fire me?" Nur a little emotion heard and saw the look on his employer's face that seemed to look down on him.
Sophia simply shook her head and covered her mouth with her index finger.
"Not fired you. But maybe soon, my husband and I won't be able to pay you anymore." Sophia's sharp gaze and smile made the bulky maid drop her spatula to the floor.
Sophia just stared at the spatula that had fallen right in front of her feet, then she turned her body away leaving Nur who was pensive looking at her spatula.
