Give Me Your Hand's

Give Me Your Hand's
Consider Me A Coward

Cansu walked down the streets around the Galata Tower. He passed the row of table chairs with carvings of wood in brown. The two pieces of furniture are neatly lined on each porch of the cafe with the same shape and pattern.

Princess Sophia observed one by one the name of the cafe written on the window glass or on a long board. A pair of black high heels stopped in front of a cafe with a yellow light that formed the letters Istanbul Cafe.

A light chandelier greets Cansu as he enters the cafe with a modern classic feel. He saw around him a lot of people sitting in pairs, making out with each other, feeding each other, chatting and laughing.

Why did I choose to come here alone? I should've taken Ivy.

He cursed himself, but he had already come to this place. Leaving was not the best option because he had accepted Mehmet's invitation.

"But where is that guy?" he murmured as he swept his gaze toward the cashier's table, bartender, and visitor's table. The man with the head of the plontos did not reveal the trunk of his nose.

"Are you looking for me?" The hoarse voice of a man shocked Cansu.

Mehmet patted Cansu's shoulder gently, making the woman shrug her shoulders slightly and then turn her back.

"Yes. No, no" said Cansu nervously but she still gave her sweet smile.

"You just got home from work?" tanya Mehmet who walked ahead of Cansu, heard the muttering voice of the woman.

Mehmet led her to sit at a large white piano table. A pianist Mehmet plays Turkish romantic music.

The blue-eyed bead surrounded the room as far as he could see. Pendant lights with a dim light intensity, the use of warm colors in each furniture and wall, a row of wine glasses hanging beautifully in a hanging shelf, a, bartender table with row of imported beverage bottles with different shape and size. Plus a seat that makes it comfortable at the moment.

"You like it?" ask Mehmet. He followed the tail of the blue eyes looking at the interior of his cafe.

"Like what? This room or that piano music?" Cansu scrunched his forehead towards Mehmet, then turned towards the young pianist with his nimble fingers touching the blades of the monochrome board.

Mehmet raised one of his eyebrows and said, "Everything."

"Your place is very interesting, honestly I like it a lot," replied Cansu with a slight lift of his chin.

A female servant with her neat hair clasp came to their table. Princess Sophia turned her face towards the waitress.

"Pick what you like, consider this my introduction." Mehmet leaned his body to look at the page after page that was on the menu book opened by Cansu. He asked the maid to wait for her guest's order.

Cansu chooses one dessert and fruit juice. He returned the menu book to a woman wearing a uniform bearing the name of the place where the woman worked.

"A cup of white coffee is warm to me" Mehmet said.

"You just pick dessert?" mehmet asked as he scratched the tip of his eyebrow when he saw his employees putting a small circle-shaped plate on the table. Whereas if Cansu ordered all the food menu here, he would not mind treating the woman.

"I'm not used to eating heavy at night." Cansu took one small mouthful and stuffed the sweet-tasting cheesecake into his mouth.

"It's delicious" muttered Cansu with her mouth still tasting. He took a second feed, the melted cheese was stretched very long when pulled by Cansu.

Mehmet observed Cansu's facial and lip expressions as he chewed, licked and bit his food. No need to enjoy the Cansu snack, seeing the woman alone has made him feel the pleasure in him.

"I can make it for you."

"really? Can you cook?" Cansu almost choked as he spoke while chewing his cake. He coughed with one of his palms in front of his face. Spontaneously, Mehmet immediately stood up to her, gave her a drink and patted her on the back quietly.

"Is it better?" Mehmet returned to his seat.

Cansu simply gave his answer with a nod of his head. "Thank you."

"You're really enjoying your food." Mehmet raised one of his eyebrows with the intention of teasing Cansu. "If you like, tomorrow I'll send this food to your office."

The dark-skinned man's face beamed when he heard Cansu's words. He began to talk about something casual with the woman, from hobbies to work. Their conversation easily went well.

Time seems to go very fast. I don't know how many songs played by the pianist who has been sitting while massaging his piano eyes. Mehmet began to regret his white coffee.

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" mehmet asked after he put down his drink. He took some hazelnuts in a glass bowl. Chew it with pleasure.

The blue-eyed bead looked at Mehmet's face. A man with his round black eye bead, a pointed nose, a pair of thin eyebrows and whiskers. Rows of clean white teeth that contrast with the color of his dark but glowing skin. His jawline that did not look firm. In accordance with his high sense of humor.

"I want to go to Taskim Square. How about we take Ivy and Kenan?" Cansu sipped his last drink.

"Can too. I'll call Kenan, you call Ivy."

The frenzied sound inside the cafe, made them choose to exit the room and walk each other back to each other in different directions. Sayup-sayup heard the sound of a call from behind their cell phones.

"Hello, Ivy?" Cansu put her phone next to her ear.

"Yes. What's up, Cansu?"

"Where are you? I want to take you to Taskim Square tonight." Cansu turned his back, he saw Mehmet's back. The man was shaking his waist while holding his cell phone.

"Oh, I just got home from work. I'm still on the road with my manager. I'm sorry."

The look on Cansu's face seemed a little disappointed when she heard Ivy's rejection. "Okay, maybe next time."

Mehmet had just finished his phone conversation with Kenan. He immediately approached Cansu, "How can Ivy be tonight?"

"She just got home from the office. He's still on his way" said Cansu, biting his lower lip. He wanted to go out with Ivy and the two men, as they had done when they were in the final grade school.

"How... do you want to go home or go to Taskim Square with me?" Mehmet stood beside Cansu. He could see the line of the woman's face.

"Alright, we go to Taskim Square." Cansu begins to look excited again, as Mehmet happily drives her wherever she goes tonight.

On the other hand, Kenan who had just stepped out of his fist training ground intended to visit Ivy. He parted ways with Serkan when he found his car.

It had been two days since they had gone to Eminonu, she and Ivy had not seen each other. He also never contacted Ivy via his cell phone, because for him why talk via cell phone if they are in the same city? It was better to meet the woman in person, so that she could look at Ivy's face and enjoy every smile of hers.

The silver SUV enters the Fener area. The car turned on the third turn. From a distance he saw another car stopping in front of Nur's house.

Kenan continued to advance his vehicle until he was near the car. From inside the car, Kenan sees Ivy coming out of the metallic blue car.

That man is not Ferit Kozan. Who her? Is she Ivy's girlfriend?

The dark gray-eyed bead stared intently at the man who had just stepped out of the steering door. The man drove Ivy up in front of the fence. Kenan's palms and fingers stiffened the moment he saw Ivy and the man waving, smiling and laughing together.

What are they talking about? They are so familiar!

Kenan rubbed his face with a huff. He wanted to get out of his car and beat up the man. But for what reason did he hit the man? While he sees Ivy is not bothered with the man.

Let's just say I'm a cowardly man who doesn't have the courage to express my feelings to you. There are so many reasons that haunt me, Ivy....

Kenan chose to rewind his car and get out of there.
