The Truth

After getting her husband's insurance claim money, Sophia and Cansu move into her new home. A house not far from his old house.

"Where did you get the money to buy a house this good?" Cansu still surrounds the two-story house he now occupies. Not too big as his previous house, but quite luxurious if only lived by two women.

"Of course from mom's savings." Sophia smiled at her attempt to trick the insurance money that was supposed to fall into Ivy's hands.

"Savings money? Oh really, mom!" Cansu scrunched his forehead. He knew very well his mother was not the type of woman who set aside her money to be saved. His mother was not a super-savvy woman either.

Cansu sat on a green tosca sofa and hugged a small tufted pillow. His mind floated thinking about the state of Ivy and Deniz.

"Don't you like our new house, baby? Sophia landed her body next to her daughter. He saw that red lips were pursing.

"Didn't mom think about Ivy and Deniz? This house is still enough for the four of us" said Cansu. He looked at his mother's serious face. He persuaded his mother to agree to his request.

Hearing her daughter's words, of course, made Sophia's heart upset. The red-haired beautiful woman snorted in annoyance. When she wanted her daughter to be happy, she thought about the fate of others.

"Have it, don't talk about them. Her boyfriend who was the mechanic of the ship must have helped her. I just want you to be happy. Find her husband who is great, educated and rich. You don't look like Ivy! Refuse Ferrite only for a bunch of useless trash!" Sophia immediately got up and left Cansu.

Princess Sophia let out a long sigh hearing her mother's words. "It's always about money and money" he murmured.

Who will pay for your school? If you marry Victor, your future will be assured. Victor will give you the name Eleanor.

A piece of past story that Cansu remembered back then. He folded his lips inward and propped his chin up on the edge of the sofa.

"Cansu, mom's going to the old house. There are some things left behind. Here's the key to this house" said Sophia who put a silver key on the table. The fifty-year-old woman immediately started her car engine and left the house.

Cansu took the key and kept it in his pants pocket. He went into his room upstairs and looked for a job in the newspaper.

Sophia's car stopped in front of her old house. He was looking for the keys to his old house that he kept in the car drawer. "Ah..this is it!"

The long-haired woman swung her steps to enter the house. His bead eyes looked around the room which was still covered in white cloth everywhere. The new residents have not occupied this house. He immediately picked up a cardboard box containing his personal belongings.

"Denizz! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the hospital?"

Deniz immediately ran towards Sophia, the child hugging her stepmother's waist while crying. From infancy, what Deniz saw as his mother was Sophia. Good for the woman, she always thought Sophia was her mother. Unlike Ivy who had known her birth mother at that time.

"Ivy took me out. He invited me to stay with him at Nur's house. I don't want to stay there, I want to go home" Deniz said, staring at Sophia's face. The clear liquid had already gathered on his eye bead.

Sophia bowed her body and held both arms of Deniz. "You can't stay here. Look at all of our stuff that doesn't exist. Stay with your brother."

"No! I want to live with my father, mother, and two brothers, like I used to!" shouted Deniz who brushed aside Sophia's two hands violently.

Sophia invites Deniz to leave the house. He locked the door and put the card in the trunk of the car.

"Deniz, I don't know what Ivy told you. But your father is no more! The house has also been confiscated by the bank. We can't stay in this house! Now go back home!" sophia who doesn't understand Deniz's feelings. The look on the little boy's face was shocked to hear Sophia's words.

"What do you mean that you're not around? Ivy said that dad was going abroad" said Deniz, who was confused by everything that had happened.

"Your father is dead!" sophia exclaims that made Deniz rewind his steps away from his mother. "It's all because of your brother, Ivy!"

"No! That's impossible!" deniz shouted hysterically. The boy roared loudly and chased after Sophia who had gotten into his car.

The ten-year-old boy fell in the middle of the road, when his hands could not hold his mother's car. With his own eyes, his mother left him.

"Mother.don't go. Don't leave me."
