A few minutes after Ivy's departure, Kenan opened his eyelids. He blinked his eyes to adapt to the light of his room lamp.
“Air...air...,” he said hoarsely.
“Thank you're alive, buddy. Is that bastard Ferrite who did all this?” ask
Mehmed. His hand took a glass of water and gave it to Kenan.
After gulping down his drink, now his eyes are looking for something. The eye beads revolved around the restroom. He saw an infusion hose attached to the back of his hand. He does not answer his best friend's questions, but he sets his sights on a wall that confines him to the bathroom, hoping for a dark brunette to come out of it.
But he did not hear the water behind the white wall. He started asking Mehmet, “Did Ivy know I was in the hospital?”
Mehmet sighed long and ruffled his waist in front of Aaron's son.
“He not only doesn't know, but he takes care of you and gives artificial breath to you. Even he told me that something bad was going to happen to you. But what have you done? You hurt her heart with your words!”
Kenan scrunched his forehead in front of the bald man. He tried to get up, cradling his back with a pillow. “Wait, what did I say?”
“Now I ask you. Do you still love Hazal?” Mehmet moved his steps forward, drawing himself closer to the bed. He had wanted to ask Kenan this question. If his friend said yes, he would leave the man alone.
“Why are you asking like that? What does all this have to do with Hazal?” Kenan's face started to tense up. He tried to remember after the incident Hasan's men threw himself into the sea, but he could not remember anything.
“Jawab only my question! Do you still love Hazal Aksal?” Mehmet widened his eyelids, as if a black eye bead was about to come out of his nest.
Kenan ruffled his own hair, he really did not understand why Mehmet accused him of such a thing. “Of course not!”
“Are you sure that you have completely forgotten her and do not expect the prosecutor of the woman again?” Mehmet began to corner Kenan with his question.
Hearing the bald man's question, Kenan's emotions began to rise. He snorted and breathed. He threw the pillow behind his back to Mehmet's face.
“Fuck your question! I love Ivy! Only that woman I love!”
Seeing the anger of his best friend, even made Mehmet laugh out loud.
“Why are you laughing? Now tell me where Ivy is?” This time the dark gray eye bead glared at Mehmet.
“He has left crying,” replied the bald man casually. He sat himself on a sofa half his height.
Mehmet's answer further confused Kenan. He tried to change his sitting position to face the dark-skinned man.
"In your sleep, you called Hazal's name and said that you loved her prosecutor! Your words clearly make him sad, angry and leave you." cried Mehmet with a little emotion. Though he wanted to pump up Kenan, so that the man went to look for Ivy.
“I won't let it go.” Kenan immediately removed his infusion needle from the back of his hand. A few drops of blood came out of his clothes. He got up and left Mehmet.
I'll find you, Ivy. I'll find you. I'll settle this misunderstanding.
Half dizzy and his vision a little blurry, he was forced to run to find Ivy. It surrounds the park in the middle of the hospital building. Only a collection of shrubs and a glowing firefly glow illuminated the garden.
He rubbed his eyelids and rubbed his face as he saw Ivy's face was on several beams of pillars lined up in front of him.
He takes care of you and gives you his artificial breath, but you say something that hurts his heart.
Mehmet's words were like a whip that encouraged Kenan to look for the woman who had made his heart out of his past. His footsteps led him to the dock.
The early morning breeze almost made his body unsteady, the hospital clothes he wore could not withstand the cold of the sea breeze. He stared at the lights of the lighthouse moving to the right and left illuminating the waters and several ships moored in place.
From where he stood, the moonlight came down on a body sitting at the end of the bridge. Kenan advanced his steps to determine whether the person who was bending both knees was Ivy. The closer he got, the more he saw that it was a long-haired woman. From his clothes he was convinced that the woman was Ivy.
If I surprise him, then he will fall into the sea.
Aaron's son only made his steps a little sound then he stopped right behind Ivy's back. The woman's hair suddenly stood up, as if she felt someone watching her from behind.
Slowly Ivy got up from her sitting position and looked back, a familiar look in her eyes staring at her. A figure of face that had filled at once broke his heart.
“Ivy! Waitaminute! Listen to my explanation!” exclaimed Kenan who tried to restrain Ivy's departure with her words.
Ivy told herself to look at Kenan's face. “There's nothing more you need to explain. I've known everything.”
“What I said earlier was wrong,” said Kenan who stepped closer to Ivy.
“Quite Kenan!” Ivy gestured with her hand for Kenan to stop approaching her. The man stopped too.
“You just feel sorry for me and Deniz. You just want to help us, two orphans who were driven out of their own homes. Right’ my words?” Ivy walked backwards slowly.
Kenan just stood up to hear all the woman's words. He did not want to debate it because the two of them were now on the bridge without a guardrail.
“I know.. I am nothing to you. Compared to Hazal, the woman you love. Who am I..?”
“I'm not a prosecutor, nor am I a smart woman you can be proud of. I am just an ordinary woman who has nothing, who troubles you and always wretches you!” Ivy exclaimed with her sobs. The moonlight shone on his reddened face.
Those tears finally spilled in Kenan's eyes. The man was stunned to hear Ivy's words.
“I'm just a stupid woman, because all I have is love. I can only love you, Kenan! I don't have anything to return your help!” Ivy shouted over the wooden bridge.
He wanted to run away, leave the place. He was very embarrassed to say all his heart in front of Kenan. But the burly hand stopped his steps, pulling his body to make him look back.
Kenan instantly covered Ivy's lips with his. A kiss covered the thin lips that had been soaked by tears.
The brown lips have kissed him now, wordless and unprepared. He felt the touch of a thin mustache tickling over his lips.
Their first kiss was so soft, she felt a feeling inside the man. But Ivy hesitated a bit to put his hand to Kenan's neck. A second later, Kenan finished his kiss.
Both of the men's hands went in behind his neck. Now the two eyebrows touch each other. The pair of dark gray eye beads were staring at him.
“Why don't you give this stupid guy a chance to say his heart?” The green eyes were moving. He did not understand Kenan's words.
Seeing Ivy's reaction that seemed confused it made Kenan even more anxious. He put his nose on Ivy's nose. He began to look at the green bead of eyes gently. “I love you, Ivy.”
“What?” The thin lips just opened without making a sound.
“I love you so much, Ivy Eleanor.”
Ivy was stunned to hear Kenan's words. Some time ago, he had just heard that the man said he loved Hazal.
“You don't believe my words? All right I'll scream.” Kenan took off his hand which he had been clinging to Ivy's neck. He was serious about his words.
“Ivy Eleanor…! I love you!” yelled Kenan loudly. Ivy covered both ears.
Slowly the sweet smile was etched from the corner of Ivy's lips. Now his ears had heard the man's heart.
“Kenan Fallay…! I love you too!” reply Ivy who shouted out loudly.
With a small laugh, Victor's daughter immediately entered into Kenan's embrace. He held his arms around the man's neck. Kenan put both his hands behind his neck, landing his kiss back.
The two lips touched each other sharing the air under the moonlight. All the inhabitants of the night sky and the simple bridge they walk bear witness to their love.
The two eyelids are closed to each other feeling every touch for the touch they give. Their hearts were relieved after they expressed their feelings to each other. They hugged each other tightly, even more tightly than when they were just friends.
We were both orphans who didn't know each other. Two strangers were brought together in a small incident, but it made us realize that we needed each other and filled each other out. It makes us complete individuals and changes the way we see ourselves, that we are not alone in the world. Even though we were abandoned…..
