CHAPTER 36

Jessica exited her apartment building, breaking into a crowd of people in the Sudirman Central Business District. She slowed down her pram, then stopped by the side of the road to wait for the red light to come on.

Jessica pulled the roof of the stroller open and watched her smiling little daughter kicking the blanket at her feet. She was a very carefree and calm baby, both energies were decreasing from Jessica.

"Without her age?" asked a young woman who looked the same age as him, the woman stood beside him, then looked down at Estelle in awe.

"Six months."

"She's beautiful" he commented. "His smile is like his mother."

Jessica smiled. "Thank you, if you look at the Papa, their faces, noses and eyes are exactly the same."

"Indeed, most girls are more dominant similar to her Papa" he said. "May one day my husband and I have something like this."

"Don't!" stop Jessica quickly. "I mean, your baby should look like you and your husband" he chuckled, then walked across the zebra cross when the red light flashed.

Jessica tried to raise the crowd because she was thirty minutes late from her appointment with Daniel, and Daniel had already chatted twice because he could not wait for his daughter to arrive.

'Daniel will experience joy with biscuits and baby porridge, she will know how messy the two baby foods are, ' Jessica murmured, she accidentally stuffed a lot of her daughter's food into a baby bag.

Jessica returned to her apartment when her daughter was three months old. He can no longer trouble his mother, many humanitarian tasks that his mother has to do. The distance between the apartment and the boutique is not far so that on a morning like this, Jessica chose to walk while drying her baby in the morning eye light that is rich in vitamin D.

Jessica stopped her train again because she felt the voice creeping through her toes. Their eyes met, Jessica looked back at Rey's dark green eyes.

"Hey," Rey approached Jessica closer, she glanced at the baby carriage. "Is this your baby?"

Jessic nodded, pulling over from the filming area. Rey knelt down and smiled at Estelle. "Wow she's so beautiful" she said. "What's his name?"

"Estelle" she replied. "But you're forbidden to call him ice-stomach, because he's gonna get mad."

Rey chuckles. "You're joking Jessie, that's my favorite drink" he put his finger in Estelle's hand and Estelle immediately shook Rey's finger back and forth while kicking.

Rey was so pleased with Estelle's reaction, she stood up. "You look so fresh and healthy."

Jessica pointed towards the road. "Sorry Rey, we're too late" he said. "Daniel was waiting thirty minutes ago."

When Jessica mentioned Daniel's name, there was sadness in Rey's eyes that she was trying to cover. She nodded and shifted to make way for Jessica and the baby.

"Today's Daniel's schedule of babysitting Estelle at his house." eight words that adequately explain what's going on between him and Daniel right now.

Instantly the look of sadness turned into a relief. "Yes I also still have one more scene, he pointed to the director who had given him the code to return to continue the last scene.

"Wow, good luck. Mommy and I will definitely watch your new movie."

Rey smiled. "That should, let me know if you want to watch, I'll give you a vvip ticket."

There was a pretty awkward pause, until finally Jessica pointed back to the road. "We should...."

"Please" Rey said with a smile.

Jessica nodded then continued on, not understanding why she was so awkward and not chatting normally with Rey. After walking a few meters, Jessica glanced over her shoulder. Rwy had not yet moved from his place, the man was still watching him walk.

Jessica turned to the rows of shophouses lined up, she saw Daniel standing in front of his buttons with a sparkling face when he saw the two of them approaching. "Have you read my email?" tanyanya knelt down and removed her daughter's seat belt.

"About the creation of a playground?"

Daniel nodded and lifted Estelle from her chariot. "I'm not only working with Harry as an investor, but also with Mommy. Yesterday we had a chat and made a deal if the playground would be free for underprivileged children" he explained.

Jessica pressed a button to fold her daughter's stroller and pushed it all the way to the back of Daniel's car. "Yes, Mommy told me this morning on the phone. He said, you and Harry are just taking advantage of paying employees and maintenance costs."

Daniel opened the trunk, then touched his daughter's chin. "That great playground is for you, baby" he whispered. Estelle smiled at Daniel as if she understood that her father was working on such a great project for her. Daniel kissed his daughter's forehead and with one hand he lifted the stroller and put it in the trunk.

"The 3T children's playground project that Harry had thrown. Your design is amazing" said Jessica, slamming the trunk lid shut, unbiased she concluded that Daniel was willing to do anything for his daughter.

Jessica leaned her body towards her daughter. "Dear to you, I'll see you tonight, baby."

Daniel opens the back door and puts his daughter in the baby's seat. Jessica said good-bye to her daughter, then she turned towards the road she was on.

"Jess," said. "Where are you going?" daniel asked in surprise because Jessica didn't step into the button.

Jessica turned back to Daniel. "There's something important I need to do," he couldn't possibly say if the urge to go back to Rey. "See you tonight."

Daniel raises Estelle's hand to say goodbye to Jessica, then she gets into the car and Jessica rushes away after Daniel's car is not seen again.

Jessica ran in turns dodging the crowd of people who then lalngan on the road. From a few meters away he saw Rey, who was also approaching him. The two of them ran towards each other.

For a few seconds they stopped facing each other to catch their breath, until Rey pulled Jessica in her arms. "Everything is more beautiful when you're with you, Jessie" whispered Rey, with the same sound that it was twelve years ago. They immediately pulled over before any paparazzi took their picture and made it a gossip news headline.
