CHAPTER 11

Amidst the heated debate with her husband, suddenly Daniel's phone shook, there was one incoming call from Harry. Harry said he and his wife were on their way to the hospital. Claire's about to give birth.

"really? My sister's about to give birth?" the news immediately melted the tension between them, the astonishment turned into a sense of happiness because the prospective new family members were ready to attend.

Jessica started to soar with excitement as she was about to have a niece soon, then panicked and rushed back to her room to pick up her bag and car keys. "Come on Daniel, we have to hurry to the hospital, we're both going to be Aunty," he ran towards the garage.

Daniel chuckles at Jessica's jokes and insults, "Aunty? Jessica. We're all gonna be Aunty."

"Oh my God, I was wrong" Jessica patted her head, as she got into the car. "I'm Aunty and you're Uncle, Daniel," she said.

Daniel was still laughing when he got into the car and started driving his vehicle out of his residence. An impatient Jessica wanted to see her niece ask Daniel to drive forward at high speed. Instead of increasing speed, Daniel turned to enter one of the coffee shops. "We need caffeine because we're not going to sleep tonight, we're going to keep the baby. What do you want?"

"Caramel Macchiato."

Daniel ordered one Caffe Americano, and one Caramel Macchiato. After that, they went to the hospital.

Harry stepped into the waiting room with a relaxed look. Jessica and Daniel immediately stood up and asked for the news he would bring. Inside the delivery room, for the last thirty minutes, Jessica and Daniel waited for Claire to scream in pain, a sign that she was giving birth. But then silence, no sound at all.

Sura crying newborn baby was not there. Jessica smothers her mouth with both hands, seeing Harry coming closer to her, scaring Jessica, she imagines a no-no.

Harry's shoulders began to shake, and tears streamed down his face. "I've become a father." he yelled cheerfully. "I'm a Dad!" Harry hugged Daniel and turned to Jessica. "Wait fifteen minutes, you can come in to see it."

After Harry returned to the delivery room, Jessica hugged Daniel warmly, both sighing in relief, looking at each other and smiling. "Did you imagine anything bad?" ask Daniel.

Jessica nodded. "You're Uncle now" Jessica said.

Daniel kissed Jessica's head and replied, "You're a baby too."

Thirty minutes later Jessica and Daniel were already in the hospital room, they stood by the bed watching Claire holding her newborn baby. It's too early to say who the baby looks like, but the baby is very pretty.

"Mas Daniel would like to hold your niece?" ask Claire to Daniel.

Daniel looked stiff as if he was nervous, but then he nodded. Claire approaches and puts the baby in Daniel's arm, teaching him how to carry. Daniel looked down at the baby nervously and then walked up to the sofa and sat down. "Have you given this baby a name?" tanyakanya.

Jessic and Daniel both looked at Claire, waiting for an answer. Claire smiled her eyes glazed over. "We wanted to name him like the person Harry and I admired, so our baby name was similar to Mas Daniel. Her name is Dania."

Jessica immediately turned to her husband and Daniel looked very surprised, then menyekuri baby who is still in his arms. "Wow" he whispered with a smile. "What should I say? This is so amazing."

Jessica rem*s Claire's hand then she walks over to the sofa and sits down next to Daniel. Seeing the way Daniel looked at his niece, made Jessica's heart expand.

Harry sat down next to Claire. "Do you know, when Claire gave birth to Dania earlier, Claire did not complain at all, even she was not induced at all," the man embraced his wife's affection. "I just realized that I've married the most beautiful superhero in the world" he gave his wife a sweet kiss on the forehead.

Daniel chuckles. "Yes, he is very strong. When he was a kid, he kicked my boko*g until I got in."

"Not to speak rudely in front of Dania" Harry said.

"Boko*g" whispered Daniel.

They laughed together, then Daniel asked his wife if he wanted to carry Dania, of course Jessica wanted, he had even been waiting for his turn carrying Dania.

When Dania is in her arms, Jessica is shocked to feel how much she loves Dania. "Are you thinking the same thing?" ask Daniel.

Jessica's eyes are glazed. Before they get married, they had a chance to talk about the problem of momongan and they agreed not to have children because children can shake their careers and they are not sure if they can take care of children properly, but after holding Dania all those thoughts were gone, Dania changed Jessica and Daniel's point of view about having children.

"I want something like this" Daniel said. "I mean a baby, whatever boy or girl our baby needs." Clear circles flowed profusely on Jessica's cheeks. "Yes, I want to, Daniel, too."

Daniel looked at Claire. "When did Mommy and daddy go to Jakarta? You told me you gave birth, right?" tanyakanya.

"Of course we have already contacted him" Claire replied. "We contacted Mommy first, before contacting Daniel. Mommy and Daddy are already at the airport, maybe two to three hours to get here if it doesn't get stuck."

"Good, we didn't have to stay here" Daniel picked up Dania from his wife's arms, then walked up to Harry and gave her the baby. "Me and Jessica are going to the gynecologist's office, while it's not closed. After that we will go straight home to work on our big project," He reached out his hand towards Jessica "Let's go!"

Jessica approached Claire and kissed and congratulated her once more and Harry, and Jessica held Daniel's hand out of Claire's hospital room. "Bye dear," he waved his hand at Dania.

"Good luck yes" said Harry, he set the two up to the front door and then put Dania in a baby box next to Claire's bed.

While Claire sits on her bed, crying happily because her newly born little daughter is able to change her brother and Jessica's view of having children, he knew how hard the insistent Daniel didn't want to have children because he was pursuing his career ambitions but that all changed thanks to Dania. "I told you, he's not that hard" Harry held Claire warm and calmed his cries.
