CHAPTER 18
Jessica's eyes were still closed, and the two of them were still in bed but Daniel no longer overstressed Jessica completely. Danie lay on her side, her arms hugged Jessica's waist tightly, and her head rested on Jessica's chest.
Jessica remained silent as she scanned the surroundings, Daniel did not move at all but Jessica could feel Daniel's breath being so heavy as a sleeping person. The last thing Jessica remembered was when Daniel's mouth was on her lips.
Jessica lay still for a few more minutes, the pain in her head grew worse as her consciousness recovered. He tried to close his eyes.
Where's my bag?
Where are my car keys?
Where's my phone?
It took Jessica five full minutes to slip out from under Daniel, too afraid to move too much at once, so he did it little by little until he could roll onto the floor.
When Jessica no longer felt Daniel's two hands on her body, one sobbing suddenly appeared unbearable from Jessica's chest. He immediately smothered his mouth with both hands while standing up and coming out of the bedroom.
Jessica found her bag and phone, but she had no memory of where she had put her car keys. Looking frantically in the living room and kitchen, he could barely see anything. When Daniel gore at her with his head, Jessica's forehead is torn. There was a lot of blood in his eyes that made his vision blurry.
Jessica slumped to the floor near the front door, her head getting dizzy, her fingers shaking so violently, that she had to try three times to unlock her phone password properly.
When the phone screen was ready to contact someone, Jessica was silent for a moment. Her first thought was to contact Claire and Harry, but Jessica couldn't. Claire is Daniel's younger sister, so of course they will defend her brother like Claire did when she pushed Daniel down the stairs.
The second thought was to call the police, but Jessica couldn't imagine what happened after she called the police. He'll be wondering, then what about Daniel's career, his relationship with mother-in-law and Claire? Of course it will be complicated, not to mention added with the child in his birth, of course, later his son will have a father ex-criminal nara. Jessica didn't completely drop the idea of reporting to the police just now isn't the time to rethink that.
Jessica rem*s her phone and tries to think again. Mommy. He started dialing the mother's number, but on the second ring he switched it off again. Jessica imagines how her mother feels when she learns of the events that happened to her, Jessica does not want to increase the burden of her mother especially when she has just recovered from her high blood pressure disease. After all, if he returned to his mother's house, Daniel would look for him, as well as the people they knew, including boutique clerks, friends, and their brothers, Jessica didn't want to see Daniel for a while.
Jessica wiped her tears, then pressed Rey's phone number, she hated herself today, more than she had ever felt in a lifetime. Hate yourself because on the day Rey gave her business card, she read it and purposely put it in her bag, even memorizing Rey's number, because somehow his mind says if one day he will need it.
Jessica hates herself, as she secretly regrets Rey's admission that all the women close to her are her management settings. Jessica hates it because she actually knows and lets Rey stroke her head while on the plane. Yes, there is still Rey deep in her heart even though she is now married and pregnant with Daniel's child.
Rey's voice implies asking, because she does not know if it is Jessica's phone number. Jessica cried while talking to Rey. "Hello, hiks.." he shut up and tried to reassure himself.
"Jessica..." Rey's voice sounded loud and panicked. "Where are you, Jessie?"
"R-reys... " Jessica whispered. "I need your help."
"You where is Jessie? What the hell happened to you?" Rey sounded panicked. Jessica could hear Rey slamming the door and walking over. "Tell me what happened to you, baby?" Then Rey got into the car and started the engine.
"I'm going to share the location" whispered Jessica, too afraid to keep talking, she didn't want Daniel to wake up. Jessica hangs up the phone and somehow, she finds the power to keep her hands calm while she sends the location and the message reads: 'Continue reading:

If you get in front of my house, please don't honk or come down. Wait, let me get out as soon as your car's in front.
Jessica rushed into the kitchen and found her trousers, with great difficulty wearing them. Then he found his shirt under the mini bar, after getting dressed he headed back to the living room. Jessica peeked out of the window and found a car parked in front of her house, believing it to be Rey's car.
With a forehead still covered in blood, Jessica crept out and once she got out she got straight into Rey's car. Two arms immediately greeted Jessica, and Jessica's face stuck to Rey's chest which was so warm. Jessica started crying and shaking so violently in Rey's arms.
"Jessie" he whispered so sadly. Rey sums up Jessica's face until Jessica looks up. Rey's clear eyes swept across Jessica's face, and Jessica saw Rey's face change into a rage. "Is he still in the house?" he turns around and opens the car door, but Jessica quickly grabs Rey's hand. "Don't! I beg you, Rey. I just want to go, take me to Rey right now."
Jessica saw a look of pain in Rey's face, as Rey was silent for a few seconds. Jessica thought about whether Rey would comply with her request or stay out of her car and approach Daniel. Rey turns around and starts the engine, driving her out of Jessica's housing complex.
On the way, Jessica's head felt very dizzy, but she refused to be taken to the hospital when Rey pulled over her vehicle in front of the hospital. "But your forehead's still bleeding, Jessie."
Jessica shakes. "Please I don't want to go to the hospital" he asked.
Rey breathed her heavy breath, forcing her vehicle back to her residence. Along the way to Rey's residence, Jessica fell asleep, she did not know if it turned out that Rey's secret residence was on the north coast of Jakarta.
