CHAPTER 22

After writing Jessica turned off her laptop, when she was about to close the laptop her eyes were fixed on the beach in her presence. From a distance he saw a group of fishermen approaching to the beach.

They approached until they entered Rey's yard. 'Who are they? Want what?' jessica's inner self, for some reason she thought the three were Daniel's men. 'But does Daniel really know that I'm here?' his mind asked again.

As with Jessica, the three men also look foreign to Jessica. "Did Rey have a boyfriend?" ask one of them.

But from that question, Jessica knew right away that they had nothing to do with Daniel, but they definitely knew Rey. "Who are you?" jessica asked as they actually arrived at the terrace of Rey's residence.

"I'm Rudi," said a man of short stature, stocky and shiny black, it was clear that the three were often in the sun. Rudi's hand pointed at the man on his right who was taller than him. "This is Raka," then Rudi's hand turned to his side again, at the tall and thin man. "And that's Raden."

"Oh hi, trio R." said Jessica kindly. "I'm Jessica," he poked his hands at them one by one. "What are you here for?"

"We're fishermen who used to bring fish to Rey," Raka showed her the fish. "Usually Rey will buy all our catches. Where is he?"

Jessica looked at the small bucket containing various kinds of fish, some small but some large. "Normally these fish we burn and eat together there," Raden said pointing to a corner of the yard, there was a fuel device. "We burn fish while playing cards and coffee."

You can wear whatever's in this house.

The sentence suddenly flashed on Jessica's head, he felt the three men could comfort and drive away his loneliness so that there was no mistake he accepted their arrival. "Surely Rey is meeting, but she said it won't be long, what if we burn it together later I'll buy it. How's it?"

The three of them observed Jessica for a moment, then they smiled. "All right."

Two men lit a fire, the other cleaned up the fish, while going to the kitchen to make coffee and find a companion snack to eat grilled fish.

Enjoying grilled fish in the middle of the beach breeze, while chatting with the three fishermen makes Jessica momentarily forget about Daniel. "Jess, can you play poker? If not, we can just play hoe," Randen said as if underestimating Jessica.

"I can play poker, let's play" he replied, then Jessica downed her last drop of coffee.

"You sure you can play poker?" Rudi started to shuffle the cards.

"I haven't played poker in a long time, last time I was in college" Jessica said. "Here let me just shake it, you shake like a baby" he sneered with a laugh.

Ridi raised an eyebrow and gave a deck of cards to Jessica. Jessica doesn't really know much about playing cards, but she can shuffle cards like a professional.

He split the cards into two piles and shifted them quickly, then pressed his two thumbs to each end. The three men who were around her were dumbfounded looking at Jessica. "You're amazing and you look professional, Jess," said Raka.

"Did Rey deliberately date you just to make fun of us? Because ordinary people couldn't possibly shuffle cards that great!" keep Raden.

In the middle of the game, Raden appears to notice a bandage that bandages Jessica's head and neck. "Where were you in the accident, Jess?" tanyanya.

Jessica held a bandage over her head and neck. "Home on. My own husband did this, he gored me with his head and bit my neck" she replied casually as she looked at the cards in his hand.

The three stared at each other. "So you're married?" Raden feels a little guilty because his assumption is wrong, he thinks that Jessica is Rey's lover.

"You're married to a baj*ngan. You should have called us so we could come and beat him up" Raden said. "If you have a husband why are you at Rey's? Are you friends" asked.

Not yet Jessica replied, Rey has come and joined them. "Jessie, why didn't you tell me they were coming? Are they bothering you?" Rey looked at the three suspiciously.

"Of course not" Jessica patted the seat next to her. "We leave grilled fish for you, eat it!" Jessica shifts the plate containing the grilled fish she set aside for Rey.

While eating, Rey scolds Jessica's card and notices the woman throwing three poker chips. "Can you play poker?" jessica looked very professional.

Jessica just smiled and blinked one eye. "So I thought Jessica was your girlfriend" Raden said. "But it turns out that he's married to a brengs*k man who only dares to beat up his wife."

Rey raised her eyebrows and looked at Jessica. "I told them a little" whispered Jessica.

"You'd better divorce your son-of-a-bitch husband, then marry Rey" Raka said. "So she's late single. As long as you know her, you've never seen her with a woman."

Rey coughed at Raka's words, he snatched all the cards from their hands. "I think the game's over, Jessica still has to rest." Rey kicked her friends out.

They all protested but they complied when Rey led him out of his yard. "Jess call me if you need any help beating your husband, '" Raden said before he left Rey's residence.

Rey closes the fence and returns to Jessica. "No need for you to listen, they're just kidding," he finished off the rest of his grilled fish,

"It's okay, I'm very amused by their arrival." Jessica made coffee for Rey. "How was the meeting?"

While eating Rey told me that she managed to become a brand ambassador of facial cleaning products for men. "I'd love to be a model of a brand I dream of."

"Brand what?" ask Jessica curiously. "A actor as famous as you can easily become a brand ambassador."

"Your clothes" Rey replied without looking at Jessica.
