CHAPTER 23

This was the second night Jessica spent the night at Rey's residence, lying down and looking up at the ceiling. Rey's residence is so comfortable, every corner of it is a dream house that he has dreamed of, but somehow there is a sense that he cannot express with words when he remembers Daniel. He felt sad and angry.

At 12:00 Jessica heard the sound of her bedroom door being knocked, and she heard Rey open the door to check on her condition, but she pretended to be asleep. Actually he felt awkward at Rey's residence.

Claire:

Hi, Aunty Jess. I'll be home tomorrow morning from Eyang's house, stop by our house tomorrow afternoon, after work, I've missed you.

Claire sends a picture of herself with Dania and her mother-in-law, the photo makes Jessica cry, how much she loves the three.

Jessica nodded, following Rey's orders. After all, sitting on a wooden bench at the dining table made her body sick. Jessica relaxes on the sofa while Rey is busy in the kitchen, she sees some movie DVDs starring Rey strewn across the table. Jessica smiled, playing one of those DVDs.

Soon Rey arrives with a puff of pasta and a glass of juice for Jessica, she glances at the TV and sits next to Jessica. For the next two hours they watched the horror movie Rey was filming.

Rwy leaned back with two legs crossed to the table, naturally Jessica leaned back to Rey's body, just as was her custom when they were still dating, Rey held Jessica to her chest and they sat quietly without speaking. Her thumb rubbed the outside of Jessica's shoulder, and Jessica knew it was Rey's way of telling her she was there for her. That he felt sad for what happened to Jessica and he wanted to discuss it.

Jessica's head rested on her shoulder, she was playing with Rey's oversized nightgown on her body. "Rey," Jessica said in a soft voice. "I'm sorry about what happened at the hospital. You're right.." he looked up and looked at Rey forcing a sad smile. "You can say 'What I'm saying'now."

Eyebrow Rey Linked. "Jess, this isn't something I want to prove. I pray every day that I may be wrong about him. After all you're his wife, I still can't take you away. I didn't mean to tell you to leave..."

"I get it, Rey." cut Jessica off. "Tomorrow I'll go to the boutique, and after that maybe I'll stay in the apartment."

Rwy held onto Jessica's shoulder. "Don't Jess! I'm afraid she's hurting you more than you're pregnant, let me take care of you Jess, "pinta Rey, her eyes are clearly radiated to worry.

Jessica shook her head. "No, Rey. I don't want trouble to get worse if Daniel finds out I'm with you, 'cause..."
