CHAPTER 16

Three Months Later

Apparently the Goddess of Luck is still with Jessica, three months after undergoing a pregnancy program finally the doctor stated that she is now pregnant with a baby, with the gestational age only reaching four weeks.

Of course this was happy news for her, but Jessica did not want to convey this great news to her husband, she wanted to wait for Daniel to come home and tell him directly.

Today is Thursday, which means that Daniel will return to Jakarta tomorrow. Jessica didn't think that LDM with her husband was so easy, moreover, the difference in time between Japan and Jakarta is only two hours apart so that at night after doing their activities to communicate and tell each other's activities. On Friday night Daniel will return to Jakarta and return to Japan on Sunday night, and so on for three months.

Jessica hopes the situation stays like this until Daniel finishes his job, if no hitch next year the contract is completed and Daniel can return to Jakarta before she gives birth.

Jessica's phone rang when she just entered the house. "Hallo my dear," Jessica said to her husband via a video call, throwing her body on the living room couch. Jessica is very tired all day working but also happy with the presence of the fetus in the womb.

"Hi" said Daniel. Unlike Jessica who looks so happy, Daniel is quite the opposite, the man looks grim and tired. The eye of the eye is clearly visible. Jessica immediately found out if something bad happened to her husband. "Darling, are you okay?"

Daniel shakes. "There was a miss-communication between me and the client, so we had to dismantle the building that was already standing, but my client did not give an extension of time, because they judged this was our fault."

"Then?" Jessica also regretted what happened to her husband, and hoped Daniel could overcome his work problems. "Aren't you going home tomorrow?" if Daniel says she's not coming home, then Jessica will say she's pregnant right now, hopefully it can be a spirit cure for her husband.

"I'll be home tomorrow night. Saturdays and Sundays will be demolished so I guess, I don't have a problem. Rebuilding on Monday, I'll be back here as usual, Sunday afternoon or evening. But maybe after that I will not go back to Jakarta again because of chasing the target" explained Daniel.

Daniel's coming home tomorrow, which means I can still give him this surprise, tomorrow when he comes home. "It's okay, baby. If I'm free, I'll definitely be there." Jessica even thought she wanted to enjoy her pregnancy in Osaka or if she needed to be there, but Jessica did not want to say it now, she will say tomorrow.

Daniel smiled faintly. "Yes, I wish you were here. I need you so much, Jess."

For a long time they chatted until finally, Daniel first slept and Jessica took care of her husband's face a while before he finally turned off his video call connection. "We will accompany you dear" he whispered as he stroked his flat stomach.

The next afternoon, Jessica got word that Daniel was home. Previously Daniel did not say if he came home earlier than usual, so Jessica did not have time to pick him up at the airport, but fortunately Daniel understood and he was willing to wait for Jessica to come home.

Jessica did get a lot of work done today, so she could soon move to Osaka with her husband. At 19:00 Jessica finished her work, and prepared to go home and surprise her husband.

Jessica decided to make a meal before waking Daniel up, because he had not eaten dinner and he was starving. As she turned on the kitchen lights, Jessica screamed, her hands clutching her chest. "Oh my God, Daniel. What are you doing here? Why not turn on the lights?"

Daniel stood with his back leaning against the mini bar, his legs crossed and he squinted towards Jessica. He flipped something back in his fingers while staring at jessica sharply.

Jessica's eyes focused on the mini bar, and she saw an empty glass that might have contained wine. Daniel sometimes likes to drink to relieve fatigue or when he can not sleep.

Jessica looked back at Daniel who smiled a little at her, Jessica's body immediately felt warm because after this Daniel would usually hug her and kiss her, at that time he would say if she was pregnant.

But that's not what happened, Daniel looked intently at Jessica and said, "Have you seen the latest movie in theaters right now?" Daniel slams the TV remote in the mini bar.

Jessica frowned while shaking her head. "Where do I have time to go to the movies? "

Daniel looked at Jessica without speaking, then straightened up, he went up to Jessica, then grabbed her waist and kissed her. Daniel kissed her while taking off Jessica's pants.

'Well we'll have sex first, after that I'll say if I get pregnant and we cook together, ' Jessica said.

Daniel lifts Jessica's body and sits her in a mini bar, while Daniel stands between Jessica's knees. Jessica could smell the wine in Daniel's breath and he loved the smell. He himself began to pant as Daniel's warm lips swept over his mouth.

Daniel sniffs Jessica's hair and pulls it slowly until Jessica looks up at him. "Honest me Jess!" whispered, he looked at Jessica's mouth as if he wanted to devour her.

Jessica nodded.

Daniel's other hand began to creep on his wife's thigh, so Jessica could no longer go anywhere. His two warm fingers slipped in, while his gaze continued to lock onto Jessica's gaze.

Jessica took a quick breath while her thighs clamped down on Daniel's waist tightly. He began to groan slowly as Daniel played his fingers in the intimate part of Jessica. "Are you sure you don't know the movie that's going on today? Isn't the movie based on a romance novel you like?"

Jessica's heart slowed down. 'Why is Daniel talking about the novel again? I've thrown it away, even I saw myself the garbage truck has taken it away.' Jessica's inner self.

Daniel's fingers are still moving in Jessica's intimate scene, her eyes still implying that Daniel wants to make love to her but her hands clutching a strand of Jessica's hair then jerking loudly until she grimaces in pain.
