Chapter 30

Me, Mas Adji and Keisha have arrived in front of my in-laws' house. We just stood around and occasionally Mas Adji and I looked at each other.

"Did you call them all?" I asked while looking ahead.

Previously Mas Adji did not mention if there was an event at his mother's house. I know he wants to bring his family here to admit all his mistakes. But only the nuclear family, not this much.

"No Win, I haven't even told anyone yet" Mas Adji replied no less.

The three of us were still standing at our place and just looking from a distance.

"There was a party inside. It sounds really good from here."

"It looks like Ma's birthday, it's got balloons" Keisha pointed out.

"Oh .. Yes Kei ... " I just realized the existence of the balloons because since then the focus on seeing parked vehicles almost filled the yard.

"Where is Mas? Wanna enter? It's Mas Arya's car, which means he's here too." I pointed to the black car that I believe belonged to Mas Arya. If the car is here, it must have a car, I thought.

Mas Adji seemed hesitant to enter. He was just silent and seemed to guess what event was in his mother's house.

"Is it possible Vino's birthday? Let's just go in" said Mas Adji later.

And the three of us finally set foot into the house. Up inside I was completely dumbfounded.

It is true that a birthday party is taking place inside. And I was amazed at how luxurious this party was, Vino's birthday party. For the size of us who live in the village, this birthday event is very luxurious.

How could they have a party like this? I know Maya's husband is unemployed. Then where did they get the money to make the event this lively? My julid's mind is in action.

It seems like no one has noticed the presence of the three of us as everyone is focusing on watching the magic show.

I passed on one by one the faces that came to this event. Almost all of Mas Adji's extended family are present here, cousins, nephews even Om and aunt Mas Adji are all present. Honestly, I was surprised. If those from distant families are invited, why aren't we? We were not informed of this event at all.

Mas Arya came over as soon as she saw us. Suddenly all eyes were on us. Either because we came last, or because we didn't bring gifts, or maybe because of our very ordinary looks, I don't know. All eyes are watching us.

"Radio ... You're cured?" welcome to Arya.

"As you can see Mas," Mas Adji replied without paying attention to Mas Arya. His eyes continued to look at Mom and Maya in turn even though they were standing some distance away from our place.

Keisha whines not to be invited home. Of course, children his age are happy to see colorful balloons and clown shows at a birthday party.

"Kei, we are not invited Kei, we also do not bring gifts. Shameful dong with the others" I whispered to Keisha. The atmosphere became clumsy.

"We're going home Kei!!!" Mas Adji's voice in a flat tone. It means he is holding back emotions.

"We didn't come here intentionally. We didn't know there was a birthday party here either. Not good, it has not been invited, do not bring gifts anyway." I meant to touch Maya with my words.

"Not been announced in our family group, has May? This birthday party?" Arya turned towards Maya.

"Group? What group is Mas?" tanya did not understand the meaning of Mas Arya's words.

"Our family group Win, the children mother and ... " Mas Arya looked towards Maya and did not continue her sentence. And Maya looks confused.

"Let's go home." Mas Adji pulled my hand and Keisha's hand took us out of this house.

Arriving home I told Keisha to go to the room first because I wanted to talk to Mas Adji. After that I immediately flocked Mas Adji with a question about the chat group that was mentioned Mas Arya.

"You know what a family group by Mas Arya meant?" Adji was silent. I doubt if he even listened to me.

"What group is that? Why don't I know? Did I miss something?"

I know Mas Adji himself is feeling a sense of disappointment. He looks like a dazed person but I can't help myself not to ask that.

Mas Adji looked dumbfounded at my question.

"Can I see your phone?" I asked again impatiently.

Then without answering, Mas Adji gave his phone to me with resignation.

Immediately I open the green application and there is a Mas Adji family chat group. All members of Mas Adji's family are in the group except me.

"Suhina is that me in your family's eyes Mas? Am I not considered a part of your family?!"

"What are you talking about Win?" Mas Adji passed away leaving me. As usual, he always dodged whenever there was a problem.

Apparently my decision to take Winda to the mother's house is not right, whether it has been to how many times. Every time I go to my house there is a problem.

I really don't know if there's a Vino birthday party at mom's.

I was shocked when I got there. How could they get that hard on me? They never visited me or just asked me about it. And now they're having a party without me and my wife's son.

The party, must be the mother who financed, can't be her husband Maya. She was always at mom's house. Why would you waste money on an event like this but not help me with my medical expenses?

I was very disappointed with them but I didn't want to show my disappointment in front of Vinda. They've managed to make me feel ashamed in front of Vinda. My own family time could throw me away?

My thoughts and feelings were already uncertain due to the incident earlier. I didn't even notice what Winda was talking about.

"Can I see your phone?" suddenly, Winda wanted to borrow my phone with a riled face.

I don't really care what he wants with my phone, whatever. My mind is fucked.

"Suhina is that me in your family's eyes Mas? Am I not considered a part of your family?!" Winda got angry after opening my phone.

"What are you talking about Win?" I immediately left before getting lured in.

I really don't know what's going on. Maybe Winda was angry because he was not invited to his son Maya's birthday, but I was not okay. I need to calm myself down.
