It was 10 p.m., when Daniel got out of his car and was walking towards the elevator when he saw Kerelyn walking while being swept away by Eddy.
"Oh my God, Kerelyn, what happened?" Daniel half ran towards them, up close he could see the woman's right ankle being gnashed.
"It's okay, there was a little accident at the shooting location" Kerelyn replied with a smile.
"How did the boards get there and suddenly hit you? For God's sake, I have to talk to Steve about this, and fire whoever put that damn board down!" Excited Eddy. Daniel could see that Kerelyn's manager was very angry to see his artist hurt and that was a natural reaction.
"Eddy... You can go home now, Daniel can help me.. Do you mind taking me upstairs?" Kerelyn asked as she looked at Daniel pleading, not only her feet hurting but also her ears having to hear Eddy's scolding along the way.
"I don't mind. I'll help you" Daniel said, understanding Kerelyn's suffering gaze.
Eddy looked at Daniel and Kerelyn alternately, before finally giving the girl into Daniel's hands even with a slight hesitation.
"Listen, her leg sprained, the doctor said nothing severe but don't let her walk alone, and make sure she gets some rest."
"No worries I'll take care of him" Daniel said, embracing Kerelyn's body.
"All right, I trust you... Kerelyn, Steve has given you a few days to rest, and so has the boss, he asked you to rest, not to worry about your schedule, I will take care of it, so all you need to do is take a break, just take a break, don't walk too much, stay in bed, okay?"
Eddy looked at Kerelyn seriously, his eyes implying a deep sense of worry.
"I get it, Ed, you better get home now."
Eddy nodded as he twisted his body doubtfully, Kerelyn and Daniel were just about to step foot when Eddy's anxious voice came back.
"Do I need to contact your mother, so she can come to look after you?"
Kerelyn rolled her eyes hearing the exaggerated reaction from her manager.
"Eddy, I'm just sprained so you don't have to call my mom and tell her to come all the way from Louisiana to New York, that just worries her."
"Alright I won't contact her, but this one you can't refuse, from tomorrow I'll have Maria come here to look after and help you."
"Well, now you can go home, Ed."
Eddy nodded in satisfaction even though his eyes still implied worry.
"Remember, don't go anywhere alone and rest that much is ok!" Eddy said as he walked backwards.
"Goddy...!!" Kerelyn growled while looking at him sharply, which immediately made the manager turn around and go to his car.
"He's a nice guy" Daniel said with a smile, as they slowly walked up to the elevator.
"Yes, but believe me, she's more chatty than my mom" Kerelyn said, rolling her eyeballs, which made Daniel smile again while scolding the elevator button. After waiting for a while the elevator doors finally opened, while Kerelyn entered the box object Daniel memijit number 14, the floor of their apartment.
"So how did this happen?"
"All right, it was so sudden, Matt and I were in a barn when all of a sudden the crew screamed, I didn't see what was really going on because Matt was right up against me, we both fell down and he protected me with his body. It was when I fell that my leg sprained, but this is nothing compared to what happened with Matt, he's in hospital tonight because of an injury to his back caused by the boards that fell on his body."
"Oh my God, is the wound serious?"
"The doctor said he had a spinal cord injury but fortunately it wasn't too severe, he just needed to rest for a few days."
"Have those boards been there before?"
Kerelyn frowned trying to remember the conditions inside the warehouse.
Daniel was silent trying to think the bad thing from tonight, was this just an accident or was it planned? It's too early to say that this was planned, but Alex's warning about Simon last night was enough to make Daniel rethink that this was just an ordinary accident.
The sound of the elevator bell indicating they had reached the destination floor resuscitated Daniel's daydream, he re-embraced Kerelyn's body and swept her down the hallway to their apartment.
Occasionally Kerelyn stole a glance towards the man beside her, his nose could smell the scented remains of perfume that had been mixed with the man's pheromones as if it were like aromatherapy that calmed the nerves in his body but also had addictive substances and his heart thumping fast.
Kerelyn silently smiled, though, he should thank whoever put the boards there that had injured his leg and for that reason he could finally feel in the arms of Daniel Winchester, the man he's liked all along. What people always say is true, there must be a silver lining.
"Are you okay?" Daniel asked as he looked at Kerelyn with a puzzled face as he suddenly heard the woman giggling to herself.
"Yes, I'm fine" said Kerelyn with a face flushed with shame, now in her heart she curses herself how she can act like a teenage girl.
"Alright, we have arrived" said Daniel, they are now standing in front of door 1407, which is Kerelyn's apartment, he opened the door and Daniel again helped the girl sit on a creamy sofa, a 42' LED TV' attached to the wall and a slender crystal flower vase containing only one stalk of white tulips with red spots on each petal that now looks withered, decorate the glass sofa table.
Daniel's eyes traced the same room as his apartment, which distinguished only the interior, in contrast to his masculine-looking apartment with brown, white and wooden shades that dominated the entire room, he said, kerelyn's room is full of soft colors typical of a woman.
"Well, I'd better go now so you can rest" said Daniel, standing in front of Kerelyn, who had been sitting on the couch, "If you need anything you can call me anytime," he continued with a smile.
"Alright, thank you for helping me," Kerelyn said with a smile even though in her heart she still wanted the man to stay longer.
"No problem, didn't you take care of me yesterday? So I thought it was my turn to look after you" Daniel said with a smile, but suddenly his countenance changed when he remembered something that made him look at Kerelyn in full search.
"Kerelyn, don't you want to take care of Matt? I mean, wasn't he hurt for protecting you?"
Kerelyn looked at Daniel with a puzzled look after hearing the man's question.
"No. I mean, of course I thank him for helping me and I told him earlier, the plan is tomorrow I'll ask Eddy to send you a wreath as a more formal thank you."
A rising smile graced Daniel's face when he heard Kerelyn's remark, he recalled Alex and Alexa's predictions last night about the girl's feelings, is that possible? But does Kerelyn Howard like it? That's not possible, is it? But the doubt of his question did not make his smile disappear even until he entered his apartment, his smile was changed with a carefree whistle.

The man grabbed his jacket, his collar pulled to protect his neck from the rain that fluttered that night, his hands raised to cover his head, while the other side was used to hold the phone perched in his ear, he walked quickly towards the car park that looked quiet that night.
"No, I didn't kill him, didn't you say just to scare him. No, the wound wasn't severe, I heard it was just a sprain... all right, I'll make sure next time it's gonna make a pretty serious wound."
He hung up his phone with an annoyed face, "Damn it! That baj*ngan shouldn't have helped him!"
Furious, both of his hands punched the empty air only to channel his disappointment at having failed.
He continued his path again, the parking lot was visible only a few cars were left, dim lighting, and, it is far from the crowd plus the rain makes anyone think twice to walk alone there at night and should the man do it before walking in silence under the rain. His steps grew slower when he felt someone following him, he stopped, his eyebrows furrowed trying to sharpen his hearing, but he heard nothing but the sound of rain, he turned around, he said, his eyes were preoccupied with looking around the field that looked quiet but his instincts were strong enough and he was sure someone was scouting him somewhere.
"Get out!" He shouted among the rain that was increasing.
"I know you're hiding in there, you coward! Come out if you dare!" His screams returned, but no one responded to his screams. He looked around who still looked lonely, his forehead wrinkled again maybe this time his instincts were wrong.
He had just turned his back when suddenly an iron hit his head with all his might until he fell, his head felt broken, a roar of pain came out of his mouth breaking the sound of the rain, blood flowed from his head soaking in his face, he tried to open his eyes despite the pain, in the dimness of his gaze he saw a figure of a man behind a dark-colored raincoat standing towering over him with a baseball bat in his hand, the figure slowly bending over him, the figure slowly leaning over him, suddenly his eyes widened when he recognized the figure.
"K.. kau," he said he could not believe that people he knew had dared to do this to him, but the look in his eyes was different from the look he knew, the look in the eyes of the person who was now standing before him could make anyone feel fear to penetrate the bones, as if the eyes belonged to Lucifer who was sitting in his body.
A demon grinned the face of the figure in a raincoat before he finally stood up straight again, then without warning he smashed mercilessly into the man's head using a baseball bat to make his victim no longer move. The figure stood staring at the lifeless body, its head was badly injured spitting out fresh blood that was now mixed with the rain water pooling around them.
"Yes, it's me" he whispered in a cold voice as he pulled out a stalk of white tulips from behind his raincoat, then slowly placed it over the lifeless body. For the last time he looked back at his victim, before finally walking away. That night among the swift sound of the rain, there was a whistling sound from the melody of the children's song that was heartbreaking, making the feathers of anyone who heard it would stand.
