Chapter 38

Daniel sits casually on his apartment couch watching television, while Kerelyn is currently on the balcony to receive a call from Eddy. He glanced at his lover after hearing a happy shout from his mouth followed by a wide smile that continued to expand on his sex lips.

“Daniel, you won't believe what Eddy just said!” Kerelyn exclaimed with a happy look, she immediately rushed into the arms of her lover and kissed him making the man smile happily while hugging him.

“Did you just win the lottery with a million dollar prize?” daniel teased his girlfriend.

Kerelyn shook her head as she again kissed her lover's lips, “No, but this is greater than winning a lottery.”

Daniel smiled again at his lover who looked very happy, he lifted the red-haired girl into his lap who immediately wrapped his hands around Daniel's neck, “What's more amazing than winning millions of dollars?” daniel asked as he kissed Kerelyn's neck which started to giggle with amusement.

“I..” Kerelyn could not continue because it was Daniel who made her forget what she was going to say, “Daniel. stop! You make me unable to think.”

Daniel laughed at Kerelyn's words, stopping what he thought was more fun than winning millions of dollars.

“Alright, what makes you happier than winning the million dollar lottery?”

“I managed to get a role in the latest James Bonds movie!” Kerelyn cried with sparkling eyes, and made Daniel also widen his eyes in surprise.

“So you're the latest Bonds girl?” daniel asked in disbelief, Kerelyn nodded with excitement and sparkling eyes.

“Aah... I don't like it,” said Daniel limp while hugging Kerelyn and resting his chin on his girlfriend's shoulder.

“Why don't you like it?” kerelyn asked, not understanding how Daniel's attitude had changed.

“You know what Bonds girl looks like?”

Kerelyn nodded, “Of course I know, not just any artist can get that role.”

“I know that.. but I don't like to see you making out with other men.” Daniel said desperately imagining his girlfriend having to do that scene with another man, “You know, I even hate Matt so much because you guys did a kiss scene.”

Kerelyn smiled understanding Daniel's intentions, she again wrapped her hands around his lover's neck and kissed him very gently, for a while they dissolve in the activity until finally they release each other with a smile on each other's lips.

“Honey, you don't have to be afraid, it's all just an act without involving feelings Kerelyn tried to explain the risks of her job.

“I know... just.. aargghhh, I don't like even just imagining it.”.

Daniel is of course happy and proud because his lover got a big role, but as a lover he was also not ready when he had to watch the woman he loved had to do a friendly scene with his co-star. Call it selfish, but he still doesn't like it.

“Can't use a replacement artist for that scene?” daniel asked as he looked at Kerelyn expectantly.

Kerelyn seemed to think for a while before she finally nodded, “Alright I will talk about this with Eddy, tomorrow.”

Daniel finally smiled at Kerelyn's words, he could hug the girl again friendly, “Good,” he said as he again kissed Kerelyn's neck who began to laugh amusedly before finally his lips were occupied by Daniel.

Their kiss deepened, Kerleyn had now been lying on her side on the sofa with Daniel beside her holding her back from falling, her firm hands tightly hugging her slender body, she said, occasionally that hand would stroke her back gently making Kerelyn feel the sensation that was courting her body.

They dissolve in the intimacy regardless of the sound of the apartment bell that continues to sound. The more the bell rang, the more Daniel deepened his kiss, he went back to being gentle when the bell stopped ringing but then cursing inwardly as his phone rang aloud, but he did not care, all he wants right now is to enjoy being with his girlfriend. Daniel was able to breathe a sigh of relief when his phone stopped ringing but now the apartment bell rang again nonstop making him curry and release their kisses. Daniel took out a swearing swearing as he walked towards the door and emotionally opened it, and found Alex standing relaxed while smiling sideways at him.

“Sial, Man, do you not understand the sign that I did not open the door on the third bell?” Daniel said with sharp eyes looking at his best friend who was just smiling casually.

“Are you busy?” alex's casual questioning made Daniel look desperate.

“Yes I was busy,” Daniel answered while trying to close the door, but he lost quickly because Alex has now entered his apartment.

“Seeing from your messy clothes and hair,” whispered Alex with a seductive smile before going deeper into the apartment leaving Daniel cursing and cursing the NYPD detective.

“Hai, Kerelyn, I'm sorry to bother you guys,” Alex said after seeing Kerleyn tidying up her hair.

“No, you don't bother us right, sweetheart?”

“Of course he annoys us,” said Daniel who made Kerelyn's cheek turn red and looked at Alex with a blush.

“I promise only for a moment, after that you can continue whatever your activities were,” said Alex blindly Kerelyn blushing even more.

“Regarding your car, D, I have received the report.So someone has cut the brake cord but not broken off, therefore the thief can still take your car far enough. And it looks like it was done while you were in the supermarket.”

“Yes God, so someone accidentally cut your car's brake cable?” Kerelyn looked surprised to learn of this news, which Daniel answered with a nod.

“So whoever cut that cable did it in the self-service parking lot?” Daniel asked who got the nod from Alex.

“But unfortunately, the position of your car was not caught CCTV... Did you meet a suspicious person while at the supermarket yesterday?”

Daniel and Kerelyn looked at each other for a while trying to remember the events of that night, but it all seemed normal there was nothing suspicious.

“No, I didn't see anything suspicious.. We met Eddy in the parking lot before getting into the supermarket, did he see anyone suspicious?” Daniel looked at Kerelyn which made the girl shake her head.

“I don't know, but I'll ask him.” Kerelyn said as she picked up her phone and called her manager.

“You met with Eddy?” Alex asked while noting this additional caption in his head for further investigation.

“Iya, we also met with Matt, when we entered the supermarket he was at the cashier to make payment and went straight out of there after greeting us.”

Alex nodded his head again at Daniel's words, “Did you meet anyone other than Eddy and Matt? Maybe we can question them as witnesses and hope one of them sees something that can be used as a clue.”

“Mr. Robert!” Excited Kerelyn, “We met Harry Robert, my boss, do you remember Daniel? We met in the parking lot after you found out someone stole your car, he even offered to drive us home but you turned him down by saying Alex would pick us up.”

Daniel seemed to think for a moment, at that time his mind was in a mess because he knew his car had disappeared so he could not remember the incident correctly, “I forgot, at that time I did not pay attention to him.”

“He's so good, I'll call him and say that you'll come to ask some questions. He definitely doesn't mind helping us,” Kerelyn said with a reassuring smile, “I'll also tell Matt, and Eddy said that tomorrow he'll see you.”

Alex nodded with a smile, “Thank you, Kerelyn, I really appreciate your help, are you sure the flower wasn't in the car when you drove it?”

“Tulip flowers?” Kerelyn looked puzzled, she looked at Daniel and Alex alternately.

“Yes, I found the same tulips you received on the night of Emily's wedding party in the car.. Did you bring them that night?”

Kerleyn shook her head, she furrowed her eyebrows looking thoughtful before saying,

“Not... I actually don't like the flower, somehow I always feel afraid every time I receive it.” They could see the girl shudder before returning to continue her story,

“I would have thrown it away once, but Eddy forbade me, he always said that it was from my fans and they would be heartbroken even angry if they found out I threw away the flowers from the fans.”

Daniel and Alex looked at each other for a while, before Alex finally asked a question, “So you didn't take him or see him in the car that night?”

“No.”

“Do you have asked the thief, who knows the flower belongs to him.” Daniel said as he looked at Alex who looked seriously thinking.

“No, I've asked him and he said it's not his.”

They all fell silent for a moment in each other's minds before Daniel finally said, “Sial! I think we're related to someone who's mentally ill.” Alex agreed with Daniel.

“Kerelyn, do you remember anytime you received that tulip?” alex asked while looking at the girl seriously.

“What do you mean, the culprit is the same person as the person who always sends her flowers?” Daniel asked, furrowing his eyebrows, actually had a chance to terbesit it in his mind but he did not have strong evidence, and now his best friend has the same thought with him.

****Naaaah... Alex and Daniel begin to suspect that the white tulip has something to do with some of the events.

Is anyone sure of the tulip owner's guess?

From yesterday there have been several people who have suspects, and many who appoint Eddy, Matt and Martin the security to be suspects, there are also those who say the papa Kerelyn(?)😅😅
