Chapter 3

“Guys.. guess who came with Daniel?" Emily said with a happy smile to look at everyone sitting on the carpet.

"Bill Gates?" It's obvious this question is from Gerard who can only 'true' gaze from Emily.

"Mrs. Grey?"

"Oooh. Please tell me it's him!" Calista supports Alexa's prediction that makes Theo roll his eyeballs.

"I also wish it was her, but it's a pity that it wasn't that sexy guy who came, '" Emily replied with a regretful face.

"Hey, I'm here, cupcake!" Dylan's protest was ignored by his fiancee.

"Do we need to hire someone to eliminate Master. That gray?" Theo's whisper in Dylan's ear.

"Good idea, we'll talk about this later," Dylan replied with a similar whisper that made the two 'tos' with their canned drink.

"Kerelyn Howard?" Alex said casually without taking his eyes off the television. The man's current appearance looks different to his beard and mumps and although he doesn't tell about the reasons behind his change in appearance, everyone in the room knew that one of the NYPD's best detectives was in the middle of an undercover stunt.

"How did you know?" Emily asked as she widened her eyes of disbelief towards Alex who was just smiling while shrugging her shoulders casually, "Daniel just called me, just now, she said they were now in the parking lot and she asked us to be normal" Emily continued, staring at everything.

Not long after the sound of his apartment bell rang, "That's them!" Excite Emily enthusiastically, "Remember! Normal, okay!" He said as he walked towards the door.

But all the interactions were futile, because just when the couple walked into the TV room everyone was now staring at them in full search, for a moment the room was suddenly quiet and it was successful to make Kerelyn look wrong while Daniel just rolled his eyeballs.

"Are you guys dating?" As usual Alexa is famously the most ceplas ceplos of all, revealing what is on their minds all.

"A.. what?" Kerelyn asked nervously.

"No, we're not dating" Daniel said as he walked towards the middle and kept 5 large pizza boxes on the carpet, considering that the chair and desk have been moved to the edge and the room has been in the title of a carpet where everyone is seen sitting relaxed while berserk on it.

"Yes! I won," exclaimed Alexa filled with happiness as she turned her hand toward Theo and Dylan who regretfully gave the girl $10, as well as Alex who gave her the same amount of money, who was also giving her, before finally he tos with Gerard and halves the results of the bet.

"Em, did you tell them all about my message?" Daniel asked as he rolled his eyeballs back before sitting next to Alex who was combing his hair using his hands because it blocked his vision.

"I told her, Daniel, believe me" said Emily, sitting in front of Dylan and leaning against her chest.

"Kerelyn, sit down," Alexa patted the spot next to her inviting the awkward-looking girl, "You don't mind sitting down?"

"Not at all" Kerelyn answered, receiving the blanket Alexa had given her to cover her legs, remembering tonight she was wearing a knee-length dress, and he'll remember next week he'll have to wear trousers if Daniel brings him here again. Will he invite her to perform?

"The pizza is so good, thanks, D" Theo said with a mouthful of pizza paperonies.

"Kerelyn bought it for you" Daniel said, taking a slice of pizza for himself.

"Waah right? You shouldn't bother like this" Alexa said, looking for her favorite cheesy pizza and Emily's, a big smile habituated the faces of the two when they found what they were looking for was among the food boxes.

"No trouble at all, I'm glad you all like it."

"We love it so much, believe me," Gerard said with his mouth full, seeing them all being as relaxed as it made Kerelyn happy he craved this kind of warm atmosphere.

"Tell us, how do you know each other?"

"We were neighbors for almost three years" Kerelyn began her story.

"You've been neighbors all this time? How do we not know?" Gerard looked at Daniel in disbelief.

"Trust me, G, at first I didn't even know he was a famous artist" Daniel said.

"We almost never met, until the day finally came," Kerelyn took a deep breath before continuing her story, "Daniel, that day, saved me when my ex-boyfriend beat me up and I almost died if he hadn't broken down the door to save me" Kerelyn said, leaving everyone speechless in shock.

"Oh my God, forgive us" Calista said with a deep sense of empathy, which made Kerelyn smile.

"It's okay that it's been a long time, which is important now that I'm fine, thanks to Daniel," Kerelyn said with a smile looking at the gentle Daniel who was also staring at her, silence for a few moments until finally heard a cry of pain Alex who broke the silence.

"wwwS.. Lexi, slow down!" Excited when suddenly Alexa grabbed Alex's hair until the man's head looked back.

"I'm sorry, I got a little emotional hearing a man hit a woman" Alexa said regretfully as she stroked Alex's hair, "The man was created to protect women instead of torturing her," he continued while starting to comb Alex's hair using a comb that he brought from his room a moment ago, "But********* it instead dared to hit Kerelyn up like that!"

"aww... Lexi, I didn't beat him!" Alex exclaimed because Alexa unwittingly grabbed Alex's hair again.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" he said regretfully, stroking Alex's head even now that he blew his head off like a mother blowing on her son's wound from falling off a bicycle.

"Lexi, stop!" His ink shuddered with amusement, he could at least bear it if someone touched his nape or blew his neck and ears, "Quick do whatever you want to do with my hair!"

"I'll be done if you don't always yell!"

"I screamed because you grabbed me, Lexi!"

"Don't keep calling me, Lexi!"

"Awww..luck!" Alex gave up because the girl pulled her hair back.

"Well, I like Alex the submissive" said Alexa as she brushed Alex's hair back and swirled the top until it no longer blocked her eyesight.

"So where is********that's now?" Dylan asked regardless of the small debate between Alex and Alexa.

"She was sentenced to four years in prison, so it looks like she's still in there, and I hope she's never released" Kerelyn said, with a nod of approval from the other three girls.

"Who is b*j*ng*n's name?" Asked Alex who now looked cool with his hair tied up, he took a soda drink in front of him and opened it.

"Simon... Simon Javier." - Simon."

Alex stared wide at Kerelyn, he let his soda can hang in the air, and the man's reaction made everyone pause and look at each other.

"Do you know him?" Daniel asked while looking at Alex seriously.

"Yes, I know him," Alex replied and turned his gaze toward Daniel, "He was free a few months ago."

Alex's statement succeeded in making all the men in the room curse and the women say the name of God, while Kerelyn immediately paled. The flash of events three years ago again burst open the surface and a sudden chill ran through his spine making his hair stand up.
