Chapter 18
Daniel had been standing at Kerelyn's apartment door for ten minutes, like an impatient debt collector he was stomping the bell continuously but there was no response from within. It seems that the girl is still angry because of Alex's actions last night that hit her sister's nose to bleed, after seeing Ethan roaring in pain he immediately pulled his sister into the apartment and closed the door right in front of Daniel's nose that would come inside, and therefore Alex laughed at him all night.
“Good morning,” Daniel said as he kissed Kerelyn's cheek which finally opened the door of her apartment even with a pouting face, “Are you still angry? You are so adorable when you pout like that,” he continued with a grin and a gaze that made the women melt.
“You hit my sister, of course I was angry,” Kerelyn said as she walked inside followed by Daniel trailing behind her.
“It wasn't me who hit your sister but Alex.”
“But you didn't get in the way.”
“She was so fast, I couldn't see her,” Daniel replied as he sat leisurely on his creamy sofa as if he had gotten used to being there.
Kerelyn rolled her eyeballs because she knew it was just the reason, she walked into the kitchen and took two cups of coffee for herself and Daniel, the man smiled again as he received his white coffee mug with a sunflower motif.
“Well, you great barista, your coffee is great,” praise Daniel while sipping the black liquid.
“Yeah, with the help of a coffee maker everyone will become a great barista,” Kerelyn replied which made Daniel smile.
“So, where is your sister now?”
“What now are you going to hit him?” Kerelyn asked as she widened her eyes looking at Daniel who looked amused by his current reaction.
“Hmm. We'll see later.”
“Daniel!” Kerelyn's protest made Daniel laugh.
“Simmer, I won't hit him..Maybe kick him.”.
Kerelyn almost spouted her coffee hearing Daniel say, “Oh my God, how can I love a man like this!” Kerelyn cried while standing up, her eyes looked at Daniel in disbelief, while Daniel who had been surprised to hear Kerelyn's words now looked at him casually while holding back a laugh.
“Ok, I know my sister is guilty of having betrayed Lexa, but she has received a punch from Alex and a kick from Lexa, and she is so sorry, how could you still want to kick her?” kerelyn said with a spirit that made Daniel raise his eyebrows.
“You're right, he's been hit and kicked.” Kerelyn nodded vigorously and now she was a little calm because Daniel finally realized it, “But she hasn't hit my fist.”
Kerelyn immediately jumped back, his butt almost sitting on the sofa when he heard Daniel's words that now look relaxed while sipping coffee.
“I'll kick you where Lexa kicked Ethan, if you dare punch my sister, you hear that?” kerelyn shouted as she stood in front of Daniel, who had placed his cup of coffee on the table, and as fast as lightning she pulled the girl's hand down on her lap.
“Sweetheart, you won't dare kick me,” Daniel said with a smile, his eyes looking at the girl on his shoulder gently.
“Daniel Winchester, don't you be too confident you think I won't dare kick you?” kerelyn asked with a defiant look, but it was only futile as Daniel shook his head confidently
.
“You won't kick me,” he said confidently.
“Why do you think I wouldn't dare kick you?” Kerelyn asked as she raised both eyebrows. Daniel's two hands now pulled Kerelyn's waist closer, making Kerelyn's hands clad in the neck of the black-eyed man who was now looking at her affectionately.
“Because you love me,” said Daniel who made Kerelyn aghast to turn her eyes, she almost jumped to her feet but Daniel held her tight, his lips smiling happily.
“Ba...how do you know?
“Because you just said it.”
“I? When?”
“Tadi.”
Kerelyn was silent for a moment, her brows furrowing trying to remember what true she had said just now? Instantly his eyes widened when he remembered it in an emotional state earlier he had time to bring out what was in his heart.
“So you've remembered it?” daniel asked with a smile.
“No-no... that.. you must have heard it wrong.”.
Kerelyn tried to let go of Daniel's embrace that was getting closer to her.
“Hmm... I think my hearing is still very good,” Daniel said with a slanted smile made Kerelyn finally succumb.
“All right you win, I do love you... are you satisfied now?”
Daniel nodded, his eyes looking radiant with happiness after hearing Kerelyn's confession that now his face had turned red.
“So tell me since when did you fall in love with me?” Daniel asked again which made Kerelyn grunt with a smile.
“Since you broke into my apartment and saved my life Kerelyn kissed Daniel's lips with a satisfied smile.
Kerelyn sneered when she realized she had harbored her feelings for three years, “Iya for that.”
Now it was Daniel's turn to kiss Kerelyn's red lips.
“Why didn't you tell me that long ago?”
“Oh, believe me I've given you a sign very often but you're too stupid to read my sign.”
Daniel laughed at Kerelyn's words, he kissed Kerelyn's lips again.
“Women and a million mysteries,” Daniel said, shaking his head.
It was Kerelyn's turn that now kissed Daniel.
“Man with all his insensitivity.”
Daniel laughed again, now it's his turn to kiss Kerelyn.
“Why women do not say it directly and instead give a sign that of course we do not understand.”
Kerelyn kissed Daniel before answering his question.
“Because women full of mysteries is much more interesting.”
“Until when will you play introgation with such a kiss penalty?”
Someone's hoarse voice made Daniel undo the action to kiss Kerelyn.
“Sial,” he swore in the heart when he had intended to give a long kiss this time, but Kerelyn immediately jumped down from Daniel's lap.
They are now looking at a man who looks very handsome with only the use of t-shirts and training pants, his body is high stocky results for hours at the Gym he rests on the wall hallway to the bedroom, he said, his dark, sharp eyes stared at the two in turn. Daniel had to admit that Kerelyn's sister was incredibly handsome, so it was no wonder the women would queue up in front of him.
”You're up?” Kerelyn asked nervously like an ABG child who was caught by her parents kissing. Ethan nodded in response, now walking leisurely like a top model who was demonstrating the masterpiece of a famous designer.
“Do you want coffee?” Kerelyn again asked after seeing her sister now sitting casually in front of Daniel who kept watching her.
“Yes, thank you, I really need a lot of caffeine,” Ethan replied as he yawned, the handsome man looked very sleepy.
“Since when did you stand there?” Daniel asked as he leaned back, he took back his coffee mug.
“Since my sister admitted that she loves you.”
Daniel smiled as he nodded with satisfaction.
“Kerelyn said you were Alexa's sister, is that true?” Ethan asked curiously, which made Daniel raise his eyebrows then nodded which made the man before him look desperate.
“Listen I didn't mean to betray him, I could have sworn there was no way I would have betrayed Lexa,” Ethan said earnestly, but Daniel just stared at him in disbelief.
“You don't trust me?” Ethan asked with his body leaned towards Daniel who shook his head.
“No,” the answer firmly makes Ethan look desperate again.
“You have to believe me, that woman set me up.”
Kerelyn came up with a large red mug containing black coffee, handed the mug into Ethan's hand and sat down next to him, as if he served as a defense with his sister as a suspect and Daniel as a judge, but unfortunately Alexa as a victim was not present, as well as Alex who must have served as the Prosecutor and well, he will also be happy to double as the executioner who will execute the sentence for Ethan, while the others will play as jurors who can be ascertained biased.
“You must trust him, my sister will not betray Lexa just like that,” Kerelyn began to carry out her duties as a defender.
“Listen to me, I was in the dressing room and suddenly the woman came in and Daniel raised his eyebrows to hear Ethan's explanation, which was not so clear, while Kerelyn could only gape at his sister's explanation.
“So you really betrayed Lexa?” Kerelyn yelled which made her sister look riled up.
“I did not betray him. he.. he.. first seduced me.”.
“Do you reject it?” Kerelyn asked with widened eyes, and at once her anger poured out onto the surface after seeing her sister just go silent while grimacing.
“Aww. aww.. Kerelyn, stop. Daniel do something!” Ethan screams for help because now Kerelyn beat him blindly, while Daniel just fell silent to watch the brother's fight.
“Should they see this,” said Daniel casually while enjoying his coffee.
