Chapter 54
Daniel and Gerard immediately ran towards where Raina was lying with her hands and feet bound and an active bomb was attached over her body. Fortunately, this bomb is different from the bomb that was installed in the warehouse. This bomb had a timer shaped like a clock counting down, Daniel and Gerard cursing when they saw the time they had was only thirty minutes.
“All will be well, Rain,” said Daniel calms Raina who starts to tear without a sound, “Wait here with him!” He continued while looking at Gerard who was trying to untie Raina's legs. Daniel runs out to call Alex and the bomb squad and leaves Gerard and Raina.
“I beg you not to leave me until the police come to help me,” Raina said in a hoarse voice as she tried to hold back her tears.
“No, I will not leave you,” said Gerard with a smile and tried to untie the girl's hand, “I'm sorry I came late,” he continued while stroking Raina's face gently.
“You are very late.. we were so scared earlier.” Tears were unceasingly coming out from the girl's black eyes.
“Sstt... Now that I'm here, you'll be fine.” Gerard tries to calm Raina down while she melts her tears.
“I.. don't want to die now!” raina cried in her tears, “I'm not married, and my parents must be sad that I died here this way, I haven't even told you that I love you, I didn't,” continued Raina while crying hysterically made Gerard silent for a while and then returned to calm him.
The bomb squad came in with his special clothes and asked Gerard to stay away, although it was heavy but he had to do it.
“I'm here, Rain! I'm not going anywhere!” Shouted Gerard while walking backwards dead Raina who has now been handled by the bomb disposal team.
Gerard is now joined by Daniel, Alex and Kerelyn outside waiting anxiously, while Alexa is being handled by medics, her neck is now wearing a brace. Time passed slowly, five minutes passed but there was no word from inside the house where Raina was, all outside waiting as if they were sitting on a pile of bombs.
Orange tides have now graced the afternoon sky, Harry has been secured by the police, as well as Matt's body, a crowd of journalists' cars has come, the police said, and the police have put up a yellow line where the news seekers and the incoming citizens are crowding behind the yellow line.
A big piece of news will again be the meal of the news seekers and again this time involving Kerleyn and Daniel in it, he said, where the two men are now seen hugging each other waiting impatiently news of Raina who is still in danger. Gerard is seen walking back and forth, and several times he is seen ruffling his hair in despair, while Alex is seen discussing with some colleagues about this incident.
And finally the door of the old house was opened, showing Raina walking in aid by one of the bomb squad members, but after seeing the people he loved standing there waiting for him made Raina run staggered into the arms of Gerard who also ran towards him. Gerard kisses Raina's lips, cheeks, nose and face, but smiles happily as she survives, followed by Daniel, Kerelyn and Alex, who hug the brave girl in turn. They now took him into an ambulance to check where Alexa was lying there and immediately cried hysterically after seeing her cousin survived.
“You scared me!” Alexa exclaimed between her cries while hugging Raina who was also crying making the other three people standing outside the ambulance smile to see her.

“So, you guys aren't actually separated?” alexa asked as she looked at Daniel and Kerelyn who were sitting in front of her. They are currently in hospital because Alexa needs treatment with her neck seriously injured.
Their parents are so shocked to hear the news that hit their children, not long ago Alexa was shot and now almost died because someone strangled her while Raina almost exploded due to a bomb. And it makes their parents become very possessive, even Emily and Dylan who now live in the UK unceasingly contact Alexa to ask her news.
“No.. It was only Daniel's plan, he thought by making me feel as if I was hurt by breaking up from him it would make the perpetrator make it as a target and it turned out to be true... believe me I've rejected the idea over and over again, but your brother is too stubborn.”
Daniel just smiled casually as he said, “But now everything is safe.”
“I didn't expect Matt and Harry to do it.” Theo said shaking his head in disbelief after hearing the full story from Daniel, Alex and Gerard.
“And seeing the incident at the shooting location when the perpetrator executed at that moment, we were increasingly convinced that the culprit was the people around Kerelyn, because they immediately knew the incident at that moment. And we were suspicious of Eddy,” said Alex who got the nod from Daniel and Gerard.
“Eddy? You guys suspect Eddy?” ask Kerelyn in disbelief.
“We will suspect anyone, Sweetheart.”
“But Eddy..it is impossible, he is already like my own family.”.
“So does Matt and Harry, who are like your own friends, Kerelyn,”, Alex said as he drank his canned soda. They were sitting on a couch in Alexa's in-room, while Calista and Raina were sitting on a mattress with Alexa.
“I asked him if he knew about fans who like to send you tulips? He said he didn't know it, but a few days later he came to my office and said that if he saw the same flower in Harry's office, he suspected it because of his strange attitude, he said that the man likes to talk to himself,” continued Alex explained about Eddy's involvement.
“And considering that Harry was at the supermarket at the time, we also had time to put him in the suspect, but we have no evidence of his involvement in any other case, he had an alibi on some occasions that made us doubtful. And it turns out he doesn't work alone, he turns with Matt to commit his crimes, people we didn't expect at all.”
“That's why Harry had an alibi to be somewhere else at the time of the incident, because it was Matt who replaced him doing the task of executing. And new strong evidence was obtained when he was caught on camera damaging the brakes of Daniel's car,” said Gerard who made everyone speechless.
“They are both absolutely crazy,” Gerard said as he picked up a drink and sipped it straight away.
“We were fooled when he said that he came after my car was lost, but it turns out that when we sorted backwards from after the accident my car experienced, it was, we know that it turns out how many times he was in the supermarket before we came,” said Daniel while breathing heavily.
“Harry will be home when he sees Daniel and Kerelyn coming, and he decides to use the opportunity to finish Daniel off, but it turns out the thieves thwarted his plans. He follows the thief only to finish him off for foiling his plan but an accident occurs and leaves him unable to intervene to finish off the thief who unbeknownst to him has saved himself and finally Harry returns again to the supermarket to drive Kerelyn home but fortunately Daniel refused, and that made her even more angry.”
Everyone fell silent again in view of the madness that had taken the lives of so many people, and put them in danger.
“Luckily, the bomb attached to you is different from the one attached to Daniel,” Calista said as she clasped Raina's hand making everyone nod in agreement.
“They set it that long so they have time to go far away from there when the explosion happens. They had planned it very carefully, they knew that the police would investigate the house after the explosion so they needed an alibi away from the scene.” Alex explains about the bomb attached to Raina's body which has a different timer to the one in the warehouse that immediately exploded because of the small force that is only planned to destroy the warehouse.
“When love becomes an obsession, then everything will go crazy,” Daniel said, raising his eyebrows.
“Sometimes people will misinterpret between love and obsession. Though it is very different, love is born from a pure heart and compassion, whereas obsession is born from a blind lust and will eventually harm others,” Kerelyn said as she leaned on Daniel's shoulder who immediately grabbed him.
Everyone nodded in agreement as they almost lost their loved ones due to people who had an over-obsession with others without thinking about the consequences they had on others.
