Chapter 10

"I'll pay you with strawberry ice cream."

"I'm not a kid!"

"really? You know Lexi, even Junior High's kids are bigger than you."

Alexa was silent thinking about what Alex's words were now smiling jail, then she looked down at her chest when she realized what the man meant.

"Aww!! Alex grimaced in pain when suddenly the amber-eyed girl kicked her shin.

Not to be outdone, Alex clasped Alexa's neck under his armpits until the girl's head slumped into his chest and freely he ruffled Alexa's hair screaming out protest.

"Let go!" Alexa and of course Alex did not let go, he still clasped the girl's neck while continuing to walk to the elevator, but he forgot that Alexa is not a woman who will give up just like that, he bit Alex's chest until he finally let go.

"Damn it, Lexi, who's a zombie now? You bit me!" Alex exclaimed while stroking his chest that was bitten by Alexa.

"I'm a Vampire not a Zombie? Vampires are more attractive than zombies," Alexa said as she tidied up her messy hair.

"And your fellow undead, you shouldn't bite each other" Gerard said casually as he shook his head, "You know what? You're like a married couple arguing like that..Oh my God, if you're married, what's your son Dracula?" Gerard asked who looked amazed at his own thinking.

"G, you have to promise me that I'm in love with her. You have to hit my head really hard because I must have amnesia at that time," alexa said with a serious face that made Alex smile.

"If he dares to hit your head, I'll break his hand" Alex said casually as he walked into the elevator.

"Sorry, Lexa, it looks like she's going to let you have amnesia for life" said Gerard, who pouted Alexa as he walked into the elevator, where Alex was looking at her with a slanted smile, her body was propped up against the wall, her hands folded over her chest, but along with the closing of the elevator doors she complained of pain because for the second time Alexa kicked the NYPD's best detective's shin.

"Have they always been like that?" Kerelyn asked with a smile, from earlier she and Daniel were watching the three.

"Well, somehow Alex and Alexa always argue about anything from us as kids" Daniel replied with a smile.

They were silent for a while, until Daniel broke the silence.

"Kerelyn, do you have a show tomorrow?"

Kerelyn looked surprised by the sudden question from the sharp black-eyed man.

"Tomorrow I'll just do an interview for a magazine."

Daniel nodded in understanding.

"Is there something?" Kerelyn asked curiously.

"No, I was going to take you to lunch, but forget it. Maybe next time" Daniel said with a sweet smile.

"Eat dinner! How about dinner?" Kerelyn asked with a sparkling face, of course she should not waste this opportunity.

"Eat dinner?" Daniel thought for a while before he finally nodded, "Alright, then I'll pick you up tomorrow."

Kerelyn smiled as she nodded, her eyes twinkling, "I'll be waiting for you."

"See you tomorrow" said Daniel with a smile that made Kerelyn's heart beat.

"Daniel" called Kerelyn when Daniel had just stepped in and the woman with brown eyes kissed Daniel as he turned to face him.

Daniel was surprised to get that sudden kiss, she knew that the rising artist liked her but she did not expect that Kerelyn would kiss her first considering that she was not a seductress but more like an innocent bully who could not hiding his feelings, and that's what interested Daniel.

Kerelyn stopped her kiss, she was downcast feeling her heart beating violently, she slowly lifted her head and that was when she saw the black eyes that were usually staring intently now staring at her with a misty look .

This time it was a different kiss in Kerelyn's taste, the same soft kiss she gave earlier but this time there was a sense of demanding and also having. Now Daniel's hands were at his side, pulling him closer. Kerelyn's hand without command grabbed Daniel's neck, and slowly the man's hand now came down to clutch his slim body.

Daniel's heart was beating violently, in his heart he was cursing because for the first time he could barely control himself, but fortunately a little common sense raised his surface to recall the words of his mother who still held firm Eastern customs that often remind him to always appreciate and respect women.

Slowly Daniel let go of his kisses, their eyebrows and noses were still clashing, their breath was still hunting, their hearts were going great, his black eyes were staring at Kerelyn's brown eyes which still looked longing. Daniel gave light kisses on the lips that now look red and slightly swollen due to the kiss.

Daniel smiled when he realized that it was not only him who could not control himself, this was evident from how he responded to every kiss from him. But no, he must not take advantage of it, Daniel's head began to move away, his hands pushing Kerelyn's shoulders.

"Am I being too rude?" Daniel asked grimacingly after seeing Kerelyn's swollen lips.

"No," Kerelyn replied in her sexy voice, "I think I'm too rude, too" she continued, her index finger slowly down Daniel's lips which were also slightly swollen.

"Well, I think we've given a great show to the security guards" Daniel said with a smile, he coded with his head, Kerelyn looking up following Daniel's lead, instantly his eyes widened when he saw a semi-circular ball-shaped CCTV camera with flickering red lights mounted right above them.

"Oh my God!" Kerelyn said as she poked her head into Daniel's chest, holding him in her arms, they laughed at the stupidity they had done.

"Are they watching us?" It is still in Daniel's arms.

"Yep, and I'm sure they're now swarming around in front of that little screen," Daniel replied with a smile, "Don't worry I'll make sure they don't spread it out."

Kerelyn shook her head, "No, that's not what I'm worried about" she said, looking at Daniel anxiously

Daniel raised his eyebrows puzzled by the woman's remark, "Not?" Kerelyn shook her head to answer her question, "So what are you worried about?"

Kerelyn took a deep breath before answering her question, "I always look ugly when I'm taken from above," he said weakly with a sullen face that made Daniel gape in disbelief with what he heard.

"So you're not afraid that our video is being shared, but you're afraid of looking ugly from the top?"

Kerelyn nodded, "Hey, I'm an artist of course I should always look beautiful in front of the camera" she protested after seeing Daniel laugh.

"Yes, of course," Daniel said, "Well I'll ask Gerard to hack into the surveillance computer so I can edit it," daniel said with a serious face but his eyes could not lie, his eyes shone when the man was holding back his laughter.

"Oh no. I'd rather look ugly than have your friends tease me for life."

Daniel laughed again, "Hey! They're not that bad, they'll just remind you of every CCTV look."

"Oh my God, they are worse than gossipers" Kerelyn said with a laugh.

For a while they looked at each other with smiles adorning each other's lips.

"Well, you better get in now and get some rest" Daniel said as he gently pushed Kerelyn's body to her doorstep.

"Well," said Kerelyn weakly, to be honest he was still hard to separate from the man especially after the incident a few minutes ago, "Good night," he continued, with the tiptoes peeking at Daniel's lips.

Daniel cleared his throat, "Good night" he said with a smile, "See you tomorrow" he continued, slowly walking back to his apartment, until he finally opened the door and for the last time, he said, he looked at Kerelyn while showing a seductive slanted smile and entered her apartment.

"Huufffhh..." Daniel took a deep breath while shaking his head, he walked into the apartment but as soon as he jumped up and down, his hands punched empty air like a boxing athlete warming up.

Not enough with that, he started running around in place and then dropped his body to do push ups, his body now began to sweat, he said, he got up to open his shirt to show his perfectly formed chest and stomach, he continued walking towards the bathroom.

"It's time for a cold shower.aah, shit! It seems I would catch a cold if every night had to take a bath twice," his grunts recalled only an hour ago he took a bath and shampooed.
