Chapter 53

Kerelyn was running to help Alexa when she heard the squeaking sound of a car tire that stopped suddenly not far from her, he looked up at the car and the joy erupted when he saw Alex and Gerad get out of the car.

“LEXA!” kerleyn shouted while pointing in the direction where Matt was strangling Alexa making Alex and Gerard run as fast as they could.

Alex can see Alexa's face that almost lost consciousness making him pull out the gun and shoot the man's back into the heart and make it collapse on Alexa.

“I'll help Daniel!” Gerard continued to run towards the house, after seeing Alex running to help Alexa.

“Lexi!” yelling Alex while pushing Matt's body to the edge, Alexa's body looks wet with blood belonging to the man, his face pale like a corpse, “Lexi! For God's sake, Lexi, wake up!” Alex shouted after seeing Alexa not react.

“Sial, Lexi, don't scare me!” alex exclaimed as he patted the girl on the cheek but there was no answer or reaction from her. He placed his ear over Alexa's chest to hear her already weakened heartbeat.

“Sial!” He exclaimed then quickly pressed his chest to then perform CPR or artificial breath. Kerelyn had now crouched down with tears streaming down beside Alexa who was still motionless.

“Call ambulance!” alex shouted after seeing the police had arrived and now began to move closer to the old house.

“Is he okay?”

“Come, Lexi!” Alex yelled again while pressing Alexa's chest and gave an artificial breath, regardless of the question Lucy had just joined them and finally the amber-eyed girl coughed making Alex and Kerelyn breathe a sigh of relief, Alexa grimaced as she felt the pain in her neck.

“Don't move,” said Alex who was still kneeling beside Alexa with an anxious face, slowly the girl's eyes opened and looked at Alex's face who was now smiling with relief.

“You scared me so much, Lexi.” Alex said as he clasped Alexa's hand with both hands, his blue eyes looking at Alexa gently, making Alexa smile weakly.

But suddenly the look in Alex's eyes turned sharp, “You! I'll seriously lock you up in an apartment and throw away the key for not listening to what I say do you understand?”

“Hei!” alexa protested in a hoarse voice while trying to get up but she again grimaced because of the pain in her neck, and it made Alex growl angry, she looked around to look for an ambulance but had not yet come, police surrounded the house and asked Harry to surrender.

“Kerelyn, you accompany her here until paramendis comes.” Kerelyn who was still sitting next to Alexa nodded in understanding, “And you, Lucy, shoot him if he is still moving,” continued Alex who made Alexa look at him with a frown. Alex had just turned around to join his comrades when Kerelyn called out his name.

“They put a bomb on the body, Raina.”

Alex curses as he runs to inform the others and asks the bomb disposal team to get ready.

“You heard that? The police have come, so you should just give up,”, Daniel said with a slanted smile while standing upright and trying to catch his breath, making Harry who also looks tired look at him sharply.

“You know.. I'm sure your partner, Matt, is now dead,” Daniel continued to make the man before him turn his eyes aware of that.

“Come on, Harry, it's over. You better give up now.”.

Harry just silently looked at him with a dark look, the back of his hand over his mouth that was injured by Daniel's punch, he was now standing back at the door until he didn't realize someone was sneaking into the house, and the sound of his steps was muffled by the sound of police shouting asking him to surrender.

“You are right, Matt seems to be dead,” said Harry in a cold voice, “You have killed my only family,” growled as he looked at Daniel with giddy eyes, “But you forgot, you forgot, if I still have someone you care about.”

Harry pulled out the bomb trigger device from his pants pocket, “Matt, loved fire so much. and with just one tap then.bum! We're all gonna die! Matt would definitely be happy to see that.” Harry laughed happily making Daniel paled, he looked at Raina lying between the tulip fields with a bomb attached to her body.

“Don't you dare press it!” Daniel growled while staring at Harry sharply which made the man laugh.

“Are you afraid of death, Daniel?” ask Harry while walking casually with the trigger in his hand, like a winner.

“Harry, you are wrong,” Daniel said making Harry look at him while raising an eyebrow, “You forgot that I just got up from the dead.” Daniel smiled mockingly making Harry look riled up again, “So for this time - even my cousin and I will be safe. But not with you,” he continued, shaking his head. Daniel saw Gerard who was now sneaking close to them, he signaled with his hand so that Gerard should not move first who can understand the nod from his friend.

“No! His strength was now 2X greater than the one before. You will not survive,” said Harry shaking his head.

“Harry.. You've tried to kill me 2X, but look.” Daniel stretched out his arms to show that he was okay, “I survived until now... Would you like to see Matt? With just one shot and he's lifeless again.. cckk-cck-cck you guys are very ..le-mah.”.

Harry again could not control his anger, he roared while lunging at Daniel like a tiger lunging at his prey, he even forgot the trigger device he had been holding was now released, seeing that Daniel again shouted.

“G! His tools!” Gerard who was standing not far from them immediately ran and then jumped towards the expanse of tulips to catch the trigger tool that was thrown, but it was too late for him because the tool fell in an inverted position until it was indirectly stoned when it touched the ground.

“SIAL, D!!” Gerard cried with wide eyes looking at Daniel who was beating Harry.

Realizing Gerard's reaction, Daniel cursed and beat Harry with all his might, so that the man lay motionless, covered in blood among the white tulips.

“DANIEL... GERARD!” Raina shouted after realizing the bomb on her body was now active.
