Chapter 20

Daniel and Kerelyn are now in the twins' apartment where the others have been waiting, of course, without Emilly, who from yesterday had been staying at her parents' house in the West Village to prepare for her wedding.

“So you two saw Alex and Lexa meet the villain?” Daniel nodded in response to Dylan's question, which immediately got a reaction from the others.

“What did he do by bringing Lexa in his disguise? What if something happens to her?”

This time Theo who looks a little emotional considering that his best friend could be back in danger.

“We better wait for an explanation from Alex, he must have a special reason for this, he said,” said Gerard tried to calm the current condition where everyone looks so worried about the state of Alexa who participated in Alex's disguise

.

Daniel almost pulled Alexa back to go home with him, but Kerelyn stopped him, he reminds Alex that he will not put Alexa in danger despite having to mess with his disguise which he has been working hard for several weeks. But he still remembered how his sister had almost lost her life not long ago because of the bullets lodged in his body, and his body was again struck by fear considering Alexa had to return to face with bad people.

“Let's just, D, Alex won't let anything happen to him. Believe me he's the first person who would be a shield for Lexa should something bad happen,” continued Gerard after realizing the state of Daniel who looks very worried.

“Oh, I swear I'll kill him if anything happens to my sister!” Daniel walked back and forth in the apartment that had been the place for them all to gather.

Kerelyn stuck out her hand with a smile that was immediately welcomed by Daniel, she was now sitting next to the red-haired woman who was still holding her hand to give a little sense of calm.

Minutes passed but Alex and Alexa had not yet revealed the trunk of his nose making the men look restless again, Calista and Kerelyn were seen in the kitchen making drinks for everything, raina is seen dismantling the kitchen cabinets of the twins looking for food they can eat and finally found potato chips and other snacks that he immediately brought to the room where the men who saw almost implode. Everyone immediately stood up when they heard the sound of double A fighting in front of their apartment.

“Oh Come on, Lexa, I can't be wrong.”

“Oh obviously this time you're wrong,” said Lexa as she opened her apartment, and instantly she fell silent when she saw everyone was there and stared at them fiercely.

“What are you doing here? Is there an event I don't know about?” alexa asked confusedly while staring at everything in turn.

“Hai, are you guys from earlier?” Alex asked casually as he walked into the apartment.

“Now explain what is going on?” Daniel asked, holding hands with the others. Alex and Alexa looked at each other confused, but at once Alexa widened her eyes to look at Alex fiercely.

“You told them? Oh I should have known, you gossip mogul, you must have told them.” Alexa looks very angry, she walks towards the sofa that is directly sitting there in the row by Kerelyn, Calista and also Raina.

“I didn't tell them.. not yet,” said Alex solemnly as he sat down and picked up the drink Kerelyn had provided.

“So how do they know?”

“I don't know.”

“Daniel saw you,” said Dylan who made Alexa look at him and then instead looked at his brother.

“You saw us?” Daniel nodded in response to Alexa's question he saw in disbelief.

“You saw us in Time Square?” This time Alex asked.

“Yes, Kerelyn and I saw you in the Plaza to be more precise,” replied Daniel coldly which made Alex and Alexa exhale long.

“So you saw it too?” Alexa asked Kerelyn who was answered with a nod, “Alright since you guys have seen her, tell me honestly what her eyes are?”

Everyone looked at each other confused by Alexa's strange question but seeing her face she looked serious with her question, as well as Alex who looked seriously at Daniel and Kerelyn waiting for an answer from both of them.

“Tell him honestly, his eyes are crooked? I can't be wrong, Lexi!” Alex exclaimed which made everyone furrow confused brows.

“She is perfect, Alex, her eyes are not jerky.”

“Wait a minute, whose eyes are jerky?” Raina asked in confusion.

“Didn't Daniel tell you?” Alexa said as she looked at everyone who looked at each other before finally nodding in doubt.

“Ok enough! I can't take it anymore!” Gerard exclaimed as he raised both his hands a sign of him giving up while throwing his body on the sofa.

“Can you guys tell us, who has his eyes?” Calista asked with her innocent angel face so that no one would dare to refuse her request.

“Well I will tell you from the beginning, one of my friends introduced me to his cousin who is a lawyer, oh believe me he is very perfect.”

“But his eyes are jerky,” cut off Alex who got the shot from Alexa.

“He is very handsome, polite, kind, and his eyes are not jerky!” alexa said that made Alex roll his eyes.

“You know, she's like a twin of Jamie Dornan.”

The women immediately look excited after hearing the cast of Mr. Sexy Greys in Fifty Shades Of Grey.

“Is she that sexy?” Raina asked with sparkling eyes followed by Kerelyn and Calista who were no less enthusiastic.

“Oh believe me, she is very..very sexy with her eyes and smile that make the women there feel envious of me.”.

“Aaaaahhhhh..” the compact voice of the other three women that makes the men just shake their heads, and Dylan is grateful that Emily is not there at the moment.

“And we were just about to start eating when all of a sudden, Wolverine, this one messed it up.” Alexa looked at Alex with her eyes squinted.

“Trust me his eyes squint and I'm sure his legs are long next door if he's not wearing shoes,” said Alex casually who immediately got a throw of sofa cushions from Alexa.

“You won't believe what he said.” Alexa took a deep breath before continuing, “She said that I was pregnant with her child!”

All the women were staring at Alex in disbelief, while the men seemed content with what the blue-eyed man did to thwart Alexa's blind date.

“Yes God, if this continues I will be a virgin,” said Alexa while leaning on the sofa with a pouting face. Seeing that Kerelyn felt sorry for the fate of Alexa surrounded by men who are too possessive.

“Listen to me, I didn't mean to mess up your date, just that you didn't know her very well, how about she trick you? What if it turns out that he is a playboy like his sister Kerelyn,” Alex's remark immediately got a protest from Kerelyn who was in vain because he was not heard.

“He's right, Lexa, we don't know him yet. We just don't want you to find the wrong guy, just like Emily finally got the right guy for her, and we can feel calm about taking it off because we know him well and can trust the person who is most valuable to us to him,” said Daniel who made Alexa smile to understand the purpose of his brother's words.

“Alright, I understand,” said Alexa slowly who made everyone smile.

“So what happened to Simon Javier?” Daniel asked after recalling what had made them all feel worried from earlier.

“Oh so all you see is Simon?” Alex asked who got the nod from Daniel.

Alex took a deep breath, now he looked serious.

“We accidentally met him, because he had seen me with Lexi before at Max's place so I couldn't help but introduce him as my lover, I'm taking that risk because I don't want her to be curious about Lexi who's just gonna put her in danger.”

Everyone was silent to Alex's explanation.

“But instead of that even danger when knowing Lexi is a valuable person to you could be so he made her as a hostage to hurt you?”

Dylan asked that made everyone again feel worried, because based on the incident that had happened to Dylan not too long ago, His own uncle who wanted to eliminate Dylan made Calista and Alexa who at that time mistaken Emily as a hostage to get what she wanted.

“It won't happen, if it happens, I'll shoot him in the head myself.”

Everyone nodded and felt a little at ease as they believed Alex would hold onto his words.
