Chapter 40
“So you mean a psychopath is watching Kerelyn?” Daniel asked in disbelief when Alex told him that there had been a murder with tulips at the scene.
Until yesterday the police had not been able to connect the victims other than the killer is a madman who always put tulips after killing the victims. Until finally Alex asked the police on duty in the case to analyze the possibility of Kerelyn there is a relationship with the victims. And it turned out that the results were very surprising because the victims were people who allegedly committed crimes against Kerelyn, from the person who tried to hit him up to the person who issued spicy comments to the artist. And lastly is Simon Javier who everyone knows what the man did to the red-haired woman.
For Simon's case, Alex was just wondering if it had anything to do or not because TKP was in a state of burning, but Canadian police found the rest of the flower burning that further strengthened his suspicion. And until now there have been 8 victims from what the police know, and they believe there are still other victims who are not revealed.
“Iya, but rather he protected Kerelyn from harm. I know this sounds crazy. Psychologists say that there is a possibility that this person has superhero syndrome. He feels responsible for the safety of others and in this case is Kerelyn. He also felt that all Kerelyn needed was herself, even thinking that Kerelyn could not live without her.”
“This is really crazy,”, Daniel said as he ruffled his hair, they are currently in Alex's apartment deliberately talking about this matter far from others, only the two of them plus Gerard who still can not believe hear Alex's explanation.
“And now, that guy is eyeing Daniel?” gerard asked as he looked at Alex as well as Daniel who was waiting for the man's answer with dimples that slowly nodded in affirmation, and immediately got a curse from both.
“Given that person only wants to protect Kerelyn from danger then it is likely that you are the next target.”
Everyone is now silent to think about it, of course fear mixed with anger mixed into one considering someone we love to be the target of a Psychopath. Alex walks into the kitchen and picks up three cans of cold beer in the fridge which he gives to his two best friends who open them and then drink them.
“But what I'm afraid is that the target has changed,” Daniel said, which left Gerard and Alex clueless.
“What do you mean?” ask Alex to be curious.
“Could be the target of the person is Kerelyn, because she feels disappointed in him.” Daniel looked at his two best friends who were still staring at him cluelessly,
“I mean, the man commits these murders to protect Kerelyn and also to attract her attention by sending her the same flowers every time she has done the act just to tell Kerelyn that she has done something big to him. But now that he knows that Kerelyn is related to me, there is a chance that he is disappointed and wants to show her that no one can protect her but him.”
“Oh shit!” Alex and Gerard cried simultaneously when they realized that it was probably true.
“We have to catch him as soon as possible, is there no clue as to who this madman is?” asked Gerard who made Alex throw a heavy breath while shaking his head.
“We have asked Eddy, Matt and also Mr. Robert. But these three people didn't see anything suspicious, Eddy said he came straight home after meeting you, when he was heading to his car he still saw your car there and nobody came near your car, likewise with Matt he said that his car was parked right next to your car and he had seen a suspicious man but mentioned the same characteristics as the thief.”
Daniel and Gerard who had been seen excited to hear the possibility of Matt saw the madman suddenly back limp after hearing the continuation.
“Sedden Mr. Robert, he said that he just came when he saw you running into the parking lot followed by Kerelyn.”
All back to the dead end, there wasn't the slightest hint that led to my guard and it left everyone in despair. They are sitting on a time bomb that can explode at any time.
“From the previous cases is there no CCTV or anything that can be used as a guide?” daniel asked as he looked at Alex hoping that something could be used as a clue.
“Nothing, he committed his crimes in places not caught by CCTV. You remember the guy who tried to hit Kerelyn?” Daniel nodded in response to Alex's question, “He was killed by being hit in an abandoned parking lot. And when Kerelyn had an accident on set, it wasn't an accident because someone had planned it, and my man was killed by being hit in the head and crushed in a parking lot under the rain at night so that no one was there, all traces and evidence if there will be instantly erased by rainwater and again no CCTV.”
“This is crazy!” Daniel shakes his head.
“And the other victims were killed differently, which is why the police had trouble identifying the case because there was nothing in common, other than tulips in each location. You may be the only survivor and indirectly learn about the tulip and eventually lead us to Kerelyn as the only link from this serial murder.”
Gerard has finished his cold beer, though, and it seems he needs an extra drink because now he has taken another can in Alex's refrigerator and when he goes back to the sofa he accidentally sees a miniature sports car arranged on top of a decorative closet attached to the wall of Alex's apartment. Gerard took the red miniature sports car and watched it carefully and instantly his eyes looked wide when he realized something.
“A, you said Matt parked his car next to Daniel's?” her question enthusiastically made Alex and Daniel turn their attention to the teary-eyed man.
“Yes, did you think of anything?”
“Have you checked his car camera?”
“Iya of course but we did not find anything,” Alex's answer again made Gerard lose the possibility that there, “Could be, my jailer came from the opposite direction of his car, Matt, could have been,” continued Alex who made Gerard furrow his eyebrows look thinking.
“Do you think of anything?” asked Gerard curiously.
“If the car beside me can't see anything, but the car in front of me can see something. I mean, from Matt's car camera we can see the car in front of us, we can track his car plate and check his camera.”
Gerard widened his eyes with enthusiasm because what Daniel thought could happen. But in contrast to Alex who just stared at the two with a limp face.
“I've thought about it and we have to wait because the owner of the vehicle is in Brazil until next month. Other cars do not have a camera.”
Once again they find a dead end, we never know what happens a month ahead, for sure they now have to race with time because the perpetrator has started to act which means one of Daniel or Kerelyn has been within the point of view of the perpetrator who only just pulled the trigger then one of them or maybe both of them will not survive.
“If the car on the side and in front can not give anything different from the car that was the victim,” said Daniel while thinking, “Alex have you checked my car camera?”
“Too much damage, need time to fix it.”
“No if I fix it,” said Gerard with a smile, “Can you bring his memory card to me? I'll do it as fast as I can and, shit! I hope we can finally find something in it.”
“I have to ask the captain's permission, but even if I'm not allowed I will bring it to you in any way,” Alex said with a smile that rubbed off on his two friends, as he said, they then toast using canned drinks and then re-soluble in their minds.
“Guys, I want to talk to you about something,” Daniel said breaking the silence between them that made both of them look at the twin brother seriously.
Daniel talked about what was in his mind which of course made his two friends curse, but Daniel explained his decision and although it was hard eventually his two friends fell silent and accepted the decision he had taken.
“Kerelyn will definitely not like it, D,” Alex said, shaking his head.
“I don't like it either but this is the only way to save us both.”
Alex and Gerard look at each other and look at Daniel whose eyes look bright while finishing his beer.
“Are you sure, D? We can find another way to save you both.”
Daniel nodded in answer to Gerard's question, “Iya, I'm sure, I just need the support of you two,” said Daniel with a smile looking at his two friends who also smiled encouragingly.

During this time the suspect is Eddy, Matt, Martin, and lastly the name Harry Robert appeared 😅 so think" who is this crazy psychopath?

Ok, for Daniel because he's Asian-American I'm looking for an Asian crossbreed, maybe if you like the series Criminal Minds or used to watch Drakor The Fugitive Plan B his Babang Rain (knowledge dehunya 🤣) already know the same figure of this one, and honestly I like the Babang this one as a result of the name I take from the real name of the visual that is Daniel.
