Chapter 45
Kerelyn is sitting in a cafe with sunglasses covering part of her face, she is waiting for Alexa and Raina who take her to lunch together before Raina returns home to Indonesia.
“Have you waited long?” the voice of a woman made Kerelyn turn her gaze towards Alexa and Raina who had just come and sat down before her.
“No I just came,” Kerelyn replied as she took off her sunglasses and smiled welcoming her two best friends.
A pretty handsome male servant came up to them to ask for an order, and his eyes seemed to sparkle when he saw the three beautiful girls and his mouth immediately gaped in disbelief when he realized one of them was a famous artist.
“So when are you going home?” kerelyn asked as she looked at Raina who was today piggybacking her long black hair.
“Monday,” replied Raina with a friendly smile.
“I will definitely miss you.” Kerelyn said solemnly, These past few weeks she has felt close to Daniel's cousin, just like the twins.
“I will miss you too. You can visit me in Indonesia all on vacation,” said Raina with enthusiasm.
“You're right, I haven't been back to Indonesia in a long time.” Alexa said while taking her pasta order that the waiter had just delivered.
“Mamah and the others would love to know you're coming, Lexa, take Alex and Gerard along.”
“It seems not me who expected his arrival..especially by Mamahmu,” said Alexa who made everyone laugh because she understood who the person meant the amber-eyed girl.
“What's there progress?” kerelyn asked curiously.
Raina shook her head while smiling wryly, “Nothing.
“Why don't you just say it first if you love him,” Kerelyn said as she stirred up the vegetable salad and steamed chicken breast.
Raina shook her head in embarrassment, her cheeks met red, “Well, Kerelyn.. We are quite conservative for such a thing, we dare not express feelings first.” Alexa said she represented herself and Raina, and what she said was true was probably because of her mother's strong upbringing, so he holds more eastern customs despite living in a city like Mega Politan New York. Kerelyn nodded in understanding, they then fell silent dissolved in each other's food, until finally Alexa broke the silence.
“Kerelyn, can we ask you something?”
Kerelyn nodded in answer to that question, “Iya, of course.”
“What really happened between you and my brother? Is it true that you split up?”
Kerelyn was silent for a while before finally answering Alexa's question, “We decided to split up first for a while.”
Alexa and Raina looked at each other and turned their attention back to Kerleyn who started eating her salad, “Did something happen?” raina's question made Kerelyn speechless and then shook her head in response.
“Don't tell me he cheated?”
“No, Lexa, Daniel did not cheat, and neither did I,” Kerelyn said convincingly making the two women in front of her nod in understanding, “Only, we need time to be alone until things improve, and I hope it is as appropriate,” Kerelyn continued with solemnity.
He desperately hoped this nightmare would end soon, knowing that there were some people killed because he was enough to shock and feel guilty, every time he came home, he said, he was always overwhelmed with anxiety for fear of finding a white tulip with red patches on his doorstep. But fortunately after his separation with Daniel until now he has never received the flower again which means no life was killed because of him.
They enjoy lunch together interspersed with jokes and laughter like friends who are gathering together. After lunch they went on a walk in Time Square and Raina bought some typical New York souvenirs from the miniature statue of Liberty, the miniature glass ball of New York City up to the keychain for him to share with his nephew and other cousins.
The time had shown at 3 pm when Kerelyn checked her posensel which turned out to be some missed calls from Daniel, she frowned at the number of calls from Daniel.
“Daniel called me, but I didn't hear it,” Kerelyn said as she tried to call Daniel back but her phone was off, “Not active,” he said while looking at Alexa and also Raina who was seen checking her phone as well.
“She didn't contact us.. Maybe she missed you,” Alexa's tease that made Kerelyn blush. He looked back at his phone and fell silent when he saw a message from Harry Robert.
“Mr. Robert, my boss.he sent me a message and asked me to come to this address, saying there is something very important,” Kerelyn said as she looked at her phone to Alexa and Raina.
“It's Bronx,” area Alexa said after seeing the address Kerelyn showed.
Kerelyn nodded confirming, “Hmm..I'm sorry, it seems like I have to leave now before making my Boss wait too long,” Kerelyn said with great regret.
“Can we come with you?” raina asked suddenly made Kerelyn smile, “I'll be home soon but I'm not going anywhere other than West Village, Lexa apartment and Time Squere. I'd like to see the Bronx if you don't mind.”
“Of course, I'm glad that you guys want to come with me so I don't go alone. Eddy is sick so he can't keep me company,” Kerelyn said with a smile they made Raina and Alexa smile and they went straight to the address.

Daniel runs down the aisle of Gerard's apartment in a row by his two best friends, “Sial!” he cursed when Kerelyn didn't pick up her phone.
“You still can't reach him?” gerard's question was answered by Daniel's arm and he again tried to contact Kerelyn.
“Gather everyone, I already know who baj*ngan is.” Alex was talking to Phillip, his partner on the force.
They took quite a long time to get strong evidence and finally it was obtained from the car camera that Gerard successfully repaired. Daniel immediately contacted Kerleyn to tell the girl about their discovery and warn her, but Kerleyn could not be reached to make her worry and she immediately ran out of Gerard's apartment.
“Harry Robert, right.. send some people to his place and make an arrest warrant, now.” Alex hangs up the phone and runs to his car, “You two find Kerelyn, then take her to the NYPD office, it's the safest place for her right now,”. Then leave Gerard and Daniel who also get into their respective cars and go to Kerelyn's apartment hoping that the girl is there.
Daniel came first, along the way he tried to contact Kerelyn but never connected, he was running his car like a deadbolt Gerard far behind him because he was worried, the clock on the dashboard of his car shows at 2 pm, this is the hour Kerelyn took a nap and hopefully he was indeed napping.
The sound of tire squeaks echoed in the quiet parking lot of his apartment when Daniel turned then stopped abruptly and then got out of his car in a hurry. Half-running he headed for the elevator and luckily the elevator door opened but he stopped his steps when he saw who was in the elevator. His heart skipped a beat, his legs as if he did not want to move.
“Mr. Robert, what are you doing here?” daniel asked cautiously, looking out over the parking lot hoping Gerard would come and seek help.
“Well.. Daniel Winchester, I didn't expect to see you here.” Harry Robert walked out of the elevator to make Daniel retreat with his papada, “I want to meet Kerelyn but unfortunately she is not in her apartment.” Daniel breathed a sigh of relief knowing that, grateful that Karelyn was outside.
“But I am happy to meet you,” said Harry with a cold smile adorning his face making Daniel back on standby, he had to hang on and buy time until Gerard came.
“Is there anything you want to talk to me about?” daniel asked trying to be as normal and calm as possible.
“Ya... something very important, don't you think?”
Harry Robert said as he stared back at Daniel, making him turn back but it was too late when a syringe pierced his neck making him feel paralyzed in an instant, his vision blurred and his consciousness slowly disappeared. But he could still hear Harry Robert's voice when he told the man to raise his motionless body.

Haiiii... well caught, it turns out Harry Robert, and only 1 person is right, from the beginning he was suspicious of Harry @Mazaya during the time 👏👏👏👏 tapiii" who drugged Daniel and became Harry's accomplice???? 😈
