Alexa doesn't think Kerelyn actually invited Ethan, the man who once hurt her with her betrayal. He had rejected the idea of Daniel's lover by having Ethan come to the party today but apparently his refusal that night was in vain.

“I miss you so much,” continued Ethan while peeking Alexa cheek that made the girl instantly aware.

“What are you doing here?” alexa asked after waking up from her shock.

“Kerelyn, invite me so here I am now,” replied Ethan with a still-influenced smile.

“I want to introduce her to Raina, do you mind, Lexa?” Kerelyn seems to have to intervene here, she feels bad by opposing Alexa's desire not to invite Ethan, she said, but his sister was the only strong candidate to resuscitate the two foolish men who were now standing before him while watching the two of them.
